We enjoyed the train ride and the history. Touring inside the cars was enjoyable for adults and our grandsons. They loved the small trains that they made go by peddling with their arms. What was also a treasure was the staff were all volunteers! There were seniors and teens. Even the mechanics were volunteers. All very knowledgeable. Thanks for such a nice time.

I highly recommend it. Even the kids enjoyed seeing the history in the parked cars they have there. It's worth a drive, and if you are a train enthusiasts you'll love it. There's a great (train themed) restaurant called whistle stop not too far in Monon IN. Make a day of it and do both.

It was timely and very interesting. My grandkids were very pleased. The gentleman giving us historical information was very helpful.

This is a lovely small museum located in a rural town. Besides the main building, there are two old trains to look around as well. Free entery to the museum but needs to buy a ticket for a train ride. We thought the visit would take us an hour, but, instead, it took only 30 min. The train ride was a big fun. 45 min for a round trip. It didn't go anywhere, just turn around in the middle of the way. Nice to spare some time with kids.

Had a fantastic time on the santa ride, my grandson loved every minute. Great people with tremendous hospitality. Santa and his elf were absolutely genuine, gracious, fun, and great with kids, made the that more special. Forgot to mention the great cookies and hot chocolate. Thank you all for a wonderful time

It was ok really not much inside exhibits and not much outside. Other than the train ride witch not to exciting you could look at this place in about a 1hr and that reading everything on the wall.

The Santa Train was very, very expensive and overall it was ok but not worth doing more than once. The train was very poorly decorated and the 'free toy' to each child was the equivalent of a Happy Meal toy. Santa himself was good and took time with each child but overall this is definitely not worth the price. Very little effort put into this event by the staff. If you're really desperate for a Christmas activity then this can work but otherwise do not recommend.
