My daughter has been taking swim classes through British Swim School for a few years now. We started because I wanted her to know how to swim and I promised she would not grow to become an adult who can't swim. I love that even though it's a group class, each child does get individual attention. I also love that they began teaching her about water safety. She couldn't even advance to the next level without knowing how to properly breathe, roll over on the water and float for at least 30 seconds. I saw how just knowing those skills helped her. Now she has learned how to do several different stokes and is a fish in the water. I have loved each instructor she has had, as they all have had excellent skills and wonderful personalities to boot. They have convenient class schedules for us and are always accommodating when we need to reschedule a makeup. I've spent my money on frivolous things, but I'd say this is well worth it. I highly recommend British Swim School.

We have been swimming with the swim school for about a year now and my children absolutely love it. We were hesitent because price was higher than other places, but it was worth it. My girl used to scream if we had to go in the water and she is jumping in nonstop to a point I am nervous for a different reason than last year. Luckily, she can float easily on her own now, so we feel much safer. I strongly recommend learning here if you do not know how to already.

They were positive and flexible to meet my family's needs. They were understanding and helpful when classes needed to be rescheduled. They gave advance notice if a class was cancelled. If I weren't moving, my kids would be in their program again.

Our daughter has learned so much and continues to learn a lot during her swim lessons! She looks forward to attending every week. This class has also built her confidence to be more interactive with others. We absolutely love our instructor Grace, she’s very patient and takes the time to truly get to know our little one and understands how she learns. Grace has a very welcoming attitude and is an awesome instructor. We also find it very easy to communicate with other staff members like Ian! Ian is very pleasant and always answers every question with a positive attitude. Ian makes scheduling a makeup class very simple and quick. We love this swim school so far!

My daughter has been with the British Swim School for about six months. She has sensory issues and the swim school has more than accommodated her sensory issues and have taught her the skills to feel safe and have fun in the water. Her swim coach Grace is an absolute gem. The group size is consistent with having the right amount of attention and yet interactive to be able to learn from others. The time of lesson is also perfect for us. Their management and scheduling network and team have been great in understanding and responding to our issues and have had quick response to rescheduling. I have always received answers in a timely and professional manner.

I highly recommend the British Swim School to all my family and friends. I absolutely love their instructors. My 6 year old loves coming to lessons and has blossomed as a swimmer. I cannot say enough about ALL the instructors and a want to send a special thank you to Oscar who has been teaching my little one the longest.

First, love the clean and nice place. Swim school staff will work with your kid, in step by step and they try to accommodate with your time and schedule. My daughter love to come to swim every week and her instructor is very calm and try to do what is best way to teach.

We are very pleased with the staff and instructors at the Tinley park location. My looks forward to making every class each week.

My son loves taking swim lessons at the British Swim School. We tried at a couple of park districts that didn’t work well for him. He was nervous at first but Oscar made him feel comfortable immediately. He moved up a level by his 3rd week!

We like it here. Kids are learning well, and instructors have been welcoming.

We swam for one month, but everything was fantastic. Just with the gas price being too high, we don’t want to drive 35 minutes to come here, but experience was way better than the school we were in previously. Chris explained everything over the phone before we started on why they were so expensive, and we can tell the difference compared to the park district. We highly recommend.

Our daughter has been a student of British Swim School for approximately five years. Her instructors, Oscar and Irery, are knowledgeable and patient, kind and helpful. With their attention and direct instruction, our daughter has moved up multiple levels and always looks forward to her lessons.

Lessons are going well so far. I like their make up policy. It’s been really convenient for me since my work schedule changes too often!

The instructor's are great but the customer service is trash. These people are difficult to get in contact with once they have your money. They are willing to text back and forth but you have to actually speak to someone to make any changes or if you have a serious inquiry and they NEVER pick up the phone. I've never been so frustrated before and I wish I could cancel the rest of my daughter's classes and get my money back.

The program is great for children learning how to swim. The teachers are patient and consistent. My granddaughter loved it!

I absolutely loved the experience learning here. I never expected to learn this much when I first signed up. I did not know how to swim and I was absolutely terrified of water, and instructors I have worked with completely changed my life and thoughts about swimming. It was a bit hard to get a hold of office staffs when I call, but they always got back to me. I can understand because I have been told they were bombard with calls this summer, and I was actually on waitlist for over 1 month to get a spot. Waiting for a spot to open up was definitely worth it knowing what I learned.

My daughters' instructors Irery and Bobbie are friendly, patient and knowledgeable about the class. In 6months of my older girl swimming there was a whole lot of difference only wish we had started her earlier. They are both always excited on their swim days. Thank you for all you do Irery and Bobbie.

Grace is the best instructor!! It’s hard enough learning how to swim as an adult but she’s taught me to be so much more comfortable in the water! She’s always patient and and explains everything well!

I have been paying for my granddaughter to take lessons but not sure if she if ever going to learn anything when they keep canceling classes. They offer make up classes on different days but they don’t help with they don’t work with our schedule.

My son & grandsons love this place. They are looking like real swimmers now. The instructors are patient and professional. I highly recommend it.

It's always fun seeing my daughter swim here. Aly and Nina are both very friendly and co-operative. Never had any issue with scheduling make up classes. My daughter loves her coach and enjoys swimming at the pool.Thank you for giving her an amazing experience!

My 7year old son Chris has been attending British swim school since March of this year and he has been enjoying it very much. He is in turtle 2 and usually there is only one other kid in his class so he gets lots of one on ones with the Billy, a very sweet and caring instructor. Love it !

Crystal and Amanda are very good coaches! They are very courteous to our daughter and patient with their instructions. Overall the staff is great! Our daughter has learn so much and looks forward to her lessons.

Our son has been swimming with British for several years. He really fell in love with it because his coaches have been amazing. He swims competitively as well, but we have continued with British because of the one on one positive feedback he gets about his strokes. His butterfly and backstroke have improved this year and we travel to Tinley Park because he has had such a great rapport with Hemen. Whenever people ask us about getting their kids into swimming, this is the school we recommend.

We are a family of three swimmers ages 7, 10 and 12. We have had such a positive experience with the positive environment at British Swim School. We have been to the Alsip and Tinely locations. My 7 year old daughter took to Jazzmens wonderful personality and moved up through the levels extremely fast. We love it here

This was a unsatisfactory experience for my wife. They might be great for kids but they rushed almost every session they had with her or they would work with the kids and the adults with only one trainer. They need to understand that some adults are trying to overcome a fear of swimming and simply need more attention.

Our son began swimming with British about 6 years ago with Heemin and Andrew. He has loved swimming ever since. He does swim competively but we still work with Heemin weekly to fine tune his skill. British is an awesome organization

My son is enrolled in the British Swim School. It’s 30 mins each session. It’s a wonderful program for all ages, especially teenagers. The Tinley Park location is very clean, right off the expressway, and convenient. The British Swim School is a wonderful program.

My daughter is 2 yrs old and have been in classes since she was 6mos and the staff has been excellent (especially Billy and Jazzmen). I highly recommend the British Swim School and this location.

My daughter has been attending Britsh Swim School at the Alsip location for 8 weeks and we love the school and her progression. We have classes on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s with two different teachers and the are both great. The staff is very helpful and accommodating to any request and Ally the deck ambassador is truly a delight. This our third school and it has been the best fit for us. I would advice any to give the school a try!

Very nice and well structured swim programs for kids. Instructors are very understanding and engaging with the kids. Small classes give everyone the opportunity to get 1on1 attention.
