My wife and I loved this place! The atmosphere was fun and energetic. The food was incredible. We love South American food and enjoyed our meals immensely. We also had 2 delicious cocktails - I recommend the tamarind margarita! Wait staff was friendly and helpful. We will be coming back here again soon! We ordered the Tinker’s special arepas, tequeños (like a fried cheese stick), and the Tinker Paradilla! Paired with chimichurri the food was wonderful.

This was our 2nd visit to Tinker Latin Restaurant in Gainesville, FL. We loved it on our first visit and we love it even more after our 2nd visit. Their Latin version of loaded fries are so much better than any traditional loaded fries because Tinker doesn’t use potatoes to makes the fries, they fry Yucca fries. The Yucca fries don’t get soggy like conventional fries. We also ordered and absolutely loved the Arepa Bowl, & the Pabellon entree. We look forward to our next visit to Tinker to try some more of their culinary delights!

AMAZING experience here! I’ve always seen the food truck around town and decided on an impulse to stop in here for a quick bite with a friend- service was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was to die for. I don’t normally write reviews but this place deserves it! We ordered the taqueños, blackberry juice, tinker special arepas, loaded fries, shredded beef empanadas, and snagged some Nutella taqueños to go. It was all incredible start to finish! I HIGHLY recommend making this place a regular stop!

Great spot! Great food! Staff(Santiago) is knowledgeable friendly and helpful! The triple burger(pictured) has burger chicken and a pork chop, ham bacon cheese fried cheese and barely fit in my face! It was amazing!

Visited with a group of friends, the atmosphere was nice, very clean and spacious. We placed our order for food and drinks (everyone at the same time). The server took the order and went on break, leaving our table unattended. The next server explained the situation, apologized, and tried his best to make our experience better. Everyone received their food on time, but my daughter, who got hers halfway through the course. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. They included 18% gratuity on everyone's bill.

This restaurant is highly recommended. Fun and comfortable atmosphere with great flavorful food. I love how this place is welcoming, clean, and family friendly, which is an extra plus in my book. At the time I visited the restaurant it was busy and I was seated promptly. The food came out in a timely manner. Staff has awesome staff too. I look forward to visiting again.

As a long time Alachua County resident, I am always looking for restaurants to introduce my guests to who travel from the Midwest. After my last experience at Tinker Latin Restaurant, I will be taking all of my visitors there from now on. I had family members here for an early Christmas and they could not stop talking about their dishes through the duration of their stay. I even took them to several top rated restaurants in St. Augustine, but they still insisted that Tinker was the best of the best. Each dish was so flavorful! I looked over at one point and my cousin had her eyes closed, savoring the food, lol. Our server Andrea was also top notch, friendly, smart and attentive. While my family isn’t vegan, I am, so I was very grateful for the options Tinker provided and how knowledgeable and conscientious they were about getting it right for me. All in all, my family and I give Tinker Latin Restaurant a 13 out of 10. 🙌🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Two words: absolutely stunning! The atmosphere is bright and vibrant, the staff is cheerful and excited, and you can tell that the food is made with love and every bite tastes so delicious. My partner and I chose to eat here for dinner, and now we're seriously considering coming here for breakfast too! Definitely a not-so-hidden gem in the pool of local Gainesville restaurants, a must-try for everyone!

Although they were packed, our wait time was short. Our waitress and host were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Attached pictures are for the Venezuelan breakfast and the cachapa. Antonella (host/owner) & Valentina (waitress) were very nice & sociable.

First time at this beautiful place. It has good parking, inside seating is very spacious and nicely decorated. The service was excellent, fast, and staff is very friendly. But most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS!! This is my new go-to place in Gainesville.

AMAZING! Stopped in on a whim and was not disappointed. Santiago, our server, honestly made this the best experience. He was friendly and super knowledgeable of the menu. His description of the cachapas with baked pork sounded so good, I switched from my initial menu item and ordered it. IT WAS FANTASTIC. The balance of sweet and salty was perfect and the pork was seasoned so well. It was delicious. There were some kids were playing and running around the stage area, which gave the place a family-friendly, homey feel. All around a great meal!
