I am supposed to be having my wedding there 11/18/2023 and the hotel is now closed for renovations and nobody has contacted me. I have been trying to reach Sandra from catering without any luck. I have a contract and a paid deposit and family and friends that have already booked there flights and hotels and I have been left in the dark and I can not get a hold of anyone there! This is so upsetting and I just want to speak to someone to get some clarification. Do I have to cancel my wedding date? I can't believe this! Please can I get somebody to contact me?

We have a wedding scheduled for end of September (a month and a half away!) and this hotel closed without notifying us. They continue to ignore our emails, texts and phone calls. We got ahold of the front desk one time and an employee told me they aren’t planning on reopening until November?? The event coordinator quit out of nowhere and we have been completely left in the dark. Friends and family flying in from all over the US and internationally with cancelled reservations/nowhere to stay but also no notification that their room has been canceled. Not even the courtesy to inform anyone of what is happening or if there’s any work in progress to support us. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. Someone from Tideline or Marriott NEEDS to contact us immediately.

For those in my position, contact me, we need to organize legal actions. Our wedding is scheduled this Fall, and upon visiting the location found it is closed for total renovation and in disrepair. There is no way it will be functional for our wedding. After searching were advised all staff has been let go. We were never told any of this when they took our deposit. We have still not been contacted or provided any feedback or response to our repeated inquiries. Our wedding coordinator told us she was let go and we have no one to help us. Completely in the dark. What an egregious way to treat people. I cannot believe that this is Marriot! Ruining peoples most special days of thier lives.

This was an awful experience. The hotel has NO air conditioning! We went for a quick getaway and spent insane amounts of money on food and stay just to be sweating and uncomfortable the entire time. Many people were complaining about the unimaginable heat in all the common areas of the hotel AND the rooms. Someone came in and point a personal thermostat at the AC and said to ignore the AC’s thermostat reading 75 because it was really 55 degrees. They made no sense. The employees were begging us to complain. Apparently they have been working in those awful conditions for months! It was the summer in south Florida. It was unbearable. Then as we were finally leaving management lost our key to the car while blaming it on the valet to eventually find it in same random drawer at the front desk. We waited almost an hour for our car because a delivery truck was blocking it and management kept insisting it would be any second for the entire time we waited. This place is trash! The only way my grandmother was able to eat breakfast was because the server put a giant floor fan behind her. We reported it to the Better Business Bureau and the hotel refused to reply to them. I’m surprised the employees haven’t gotten together and filed a class action lawsuit against them.

My rating would have been a 10 , my husband got us a ocean view balcony room for my birthday . At the Check in time 4 pm , room was not ready . They told us they would give us a call when room ready . 4:30 we go back to the check in counter , room still not ready , but in addition to that , they have decided to downgrade our room from the balcony ocean view to , partial ocean view without the balcony and still have to pay for the same rate . We asked them , why did anyone call us and given us a heads up with the down graded room ? The young lady said “well we didn’t have any phone number on file “ “oh wait , you booked through us online … we’ll we didn’t have phone number to contact you , here is a voucher for few drinks “ First , we tried to check in twice and room was not ready .. at that time they had a chance to let us know we were down graded Second , booking online through Marriott anyone that stays at the Marriott they know they get your contact info , phone , email .. So sad , we loved the location , but never returning back with this terrible service .

So I saw on the Palm Beach Daily News that the hotel is closer for renovations. I’ve been following this since I booked in June. Today, 30 days before my trip I check again. Palm Beach Daily News says planned opening “mid-November”. So I checked the Marriott website which has an alert saying it’s still closed. I decided to reach out to Marriott to confirm my reservation and they say the hotel will be closed until 12/31. I coming from New Hampshire and was supposed to stay 12/7-12/11 for a cruise that departs from Palm Beach 12/11. I again reiterate that I had to reach out to Marriott to find out this reservation was cancelled. No contact from Marriott or Tideline. So I would’ve gotten off a plane on December 7th and had no where to go. I’m now in the process of trying to find a new place to stay and get compensated for this vital error by Marriott and Tideline. Maybe Jeff Greene, 123rd richest person in America should work on his customer service skills. I’ve also reached out to the Palm Beach Daily News with this exact information so other guests don’t get stranded.

I am a local and have come to this "hidden gem" many times for the spa/pool/restaurant. Yesterday I brought my girlfriend's to celebrate my birthday. I noticed all the bad reviews and just wanted to give my recent experience. They are going through some renovations and may be at a lower staff level. But I have never had a bad experience here and yesterday was no different. In fact if I could give 6 stars for the staff alone, I would! Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a great time!! My girlfriend's all said the massages they had were probably the best in their lives. The lunch menu was limited but delicious. And we spent the afternoon in the pool. It felt like we were on vacation, minutes from our homes. A perfect day off!!

Stayed here recently and I wish I could write a better review on our stay. I'll start off with the positives as the front desk attendant was very personable and was helpful during our stay. Having direct access to the beach was a nice touch as it was private and there was plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view. The pool which is oddly located in the middle of a parking lot was nice and clean, crystal clear water. Unfortunately that's where the positives end as there is renovations going on which was fine, however they limited the guests to 1 elevator to use as the other was designated as a service elevator. They did mention to us when we checked in about the renovations but would of liked to have known ahead of time before we showed up and could had made other accomodations. As for the room, they seemed empty and one of the lamps you had to unplug from a wall to turn off. The light inside the shower stall would go out for 10-15 seconds every few minutes and the TV on demand didn't work. They did offer us to change our room, however they said there was only 1 room available (on a Thursday) and we didn't see any improvements so we kept our original room. We understood the hotel is being renovated however it wasn't worth the money they were charging to stay. Considering it was our first time staying in Florida we made the best of it and just wish we knew ahead of time and read the reviews. I hope things get better when the hotels renovations have been completed and become a hotel people want to stay on their next trip.

The resort is not what I expected. I reserved an ocean front room with a balcony and upon arrival they did not have that room available. They tried to rectify it by giving us a credit for breakfast for the days we were staying there. When we went for breakfast in the hotel restaurant, they were VERY understaffed. The wait staff tried their best, but tables were not clean, it took a while to place an order and even longer to get our food. The pool is in the parking lot of the resort and the hot tub is not hot. The front desk person didn't know when it would be fixed. The worst part was that our room had roaches! We spoke to the front desk and they sent maintenance to spray the room, but the roaches continued to appear. Last, make sure to check your itemized bill before you check out. They charged a meal we didn't eat at the bar to our room. I had to ask the front desk person to remove the charge. Hopefully this place will get better once they finish renovations

I enjoyed my stay at the tideline. Steve from front desk went beyond our expectations to provide a good experience and amazing service. The other employees did not match Steve’s service. For example, we did not receive the complimentary champagne upon arrival as other guests did. It wasn’t until checking out that we noticed a “resort charge” which part of that charge was champagne upon arrival. That was disappointing but other than that was a great stay and we had an amazing meal at the Brandon restaurant which Steve helped to organize.

Bob, the night manager at the front desk is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with helpful, accommodating staff, that truly cared. I cannot say enough about the staff here! I have never experienced a hotel stay where each and every person that you come in contact with is friendly, warm and helpful! There was a little wait for the elevators but it is a boutique style hotel which I prefer. The safe in our room stopped working and someone was there within minutes to change the battery. Agreed that the rooms can use an update but the aesthetic was still modern and clean and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back next year!

We were excited to check in, but found out that our room wasn’t ready. Ultimately it wasn’t ready until 3 hours after check in… We missed dinner reservations because we couldn’t get ready and had to keep pushing back plans with friends. There were also no outlets near the beds (even a Holiday Inn provides that), so don’t plan on charging your phone in bed at night. And several things were broken in our room… the handle on the sink fell off twice. Service at the bar was good, but the restaurant was disappointing. The food was good for breakfast, but no one came to check on us the entire meal. No drink refills, and had to flag someone down for our check. The beach is fully shaded by 5 pm (in November) And half of it is in the shade before that. But access to the beach is very easy, and the hotel has great ocean views. The pool is very nice, but is located in the front of the building. Overall, I’m not sure if I would stay here again. The price point is enticing, and being on the water is fabulous, but to deal with a constant problems and minor annoyances through the trip is probably not worth it.

This place is a scam for the price. No room service “due to COVID” but still charge 20% gratuity when you pick up the order downstairs - won’t even give you real silverware. Beach chairs / towels are extremely limited and hard to get - waited over an hour for a chair and even longer for an unused towel. The elevators stop at every single floor for no reason, and the rooms are falling apart. You might as well save your money or just pay the couple hundred extra for the four seasons next door.

This hotel looks great from photos and is in a great location but expect to be scammed. I stayed one night coming in for work for the weekend. I went to the beach in the morning and proceeded in to have breakfast, of which they had me seat myself, fine, but then no one came to take my order for 15 minutes, so I had to go to the bar to ask to place my order. No worries. I had a nice spa experience planned for the afternoon, listed at $344 online for the package. The staff gave me a receipt for $480 for gratuity included, okay. I get my folio for checking out and I have a charge for $37 for breakfast which was not mine and later charge my card $582 for the spa. So now I've called 3 times with one call back saying they would refund me for the $37 for the receipt that was charged to me folio that doesn't have my name on it and nothing about the random charge from the spa. This is now 2 weeks later and no refund either.

As the amenities were amazing, the room was horrendous! We first arrives and our key didn't work twice, then maintenance had to come and change the batteries in the door. Once we finally got in the door the heat was blasting at 80 degrees! Maintenance had to shut down the system and reboot it so the air would come on. After about 30 minutes our room finally started to cool down, meanwhile it was 80 degrees out! The bed was so uncomfortable we didn't sleep all night. They put some sort of mattress cover on that is 3x too big for the mattress so it bunched up and felt like you were sleeping on a pile of clothes! Ever time you moved in the bed it sounded like the platform was going collapse! Btw, we aren't heavy people. The bathroom was very dark and dingy. There wasn't a refrigerator or room service menu. For $740 a night, I don't recommend it at all. The elevator was broken and there was only on working outlet in the room. On the + side, the food (besides breakfast) was amazing! The girls working the beach were probably some of the best servers we've ever had! They really work hard and keep a pleasant smile all the while they are trudging through sand in sneakers and 80 degree hot sun, without a complaint!

My husband wanted to surprise me with a night at this hotel for my birthday. For months he spoke with individuals in reference to setting up for the night. On the night we went the AC was out. The front desk clerk did not know about his reservation they had to search. He also almost ruin the surprise we thought was there by asking my husband in front of me what the surprise was.. We stood by for about 30 minutes to find everything. They did not fulfill the accommodations. He orders a cake plus we had a reservation at the restaurant they never placed. Once we went to the room we were suppose to have birthday decorations.. they did not do that either. They later came with a wine which was suppose to be in the room already.. the room also needs to be upgraded. We had no cake, no dinner reservation, no decoration, no AC. We literally had to leave the hotel to try to find something to eat for my birthday dinner. My birthday night was ruin. The manager decided they would make it up to us by providing us with a another night stay. We called a month later to set up a date and was told they changed management and they would not be able to provide that service. I would not recommend this hotel..worst experience at a hotel for my birthday.

Underwhelming. The website pictures are deceiving. It's a nice-ish hotel but not at the price they market themselves. The dining room food was good but the service was terrible. They purport to have room service, but they don't. The rooms have a little more wear and tear than I would have expected. The bed didn’t even have a fitted sheet. Just a regular sheet tucked under. For the price, I would stay somewhere else. The spa service was good but the locker room was lacking.

Staff was really nice, friendly and quick to resolve any minor issues we encountered. The hotel was very pretty. This hotel is right on the water with its own lounge seating and umbrellas on the sand. The room was pretty clean and tidy and the parking was super accessible. I will note that the lobby/ main area of the room was really hot/ had poor ventilation. I imagine it’s from the automatic doors being constantly opened to the beach/ patio area. I just found it kind of uncomfortable when considering sitting at the bar or one or the indoor dining tables. However, they have lots of great seating out on the patio which was perfect with the sea breeze. This hotel was a great value for what we experienced and I will definitely be booking again in the future.

Beautiful spot on the beach. Quiet area; not overcrowded even when at full capacity. Dog friendly. I actually had the best sushi of my life here not joking. The crispy spicy tuna. I want it for breakfast lunch and dinner. But best of all is the staff. Joseph the manager and his team were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone was loving on my dog and super helpful. The service was above and beyond and we’d probably come back just to say hi to everyone (and have more crunchy spicy tuna).

I came to this spa about 8 years ago and everything was great.. I returned just recently because I had great memories of how beautiful it was just to find that everything has deteriorated since I have been here last. Starting with the parking and driveway. The lot is uneven and has lots of broken pavers. A lot of water features on the outside of the hotel are not even in operable condition and it just feels as everything is falling apart and is in desperate need of updating and needs a major fix/renovation. I regret not chewing out the facility before booking my spa appointments as if I would have I would have not spent this much on a spa stay in a deteriorating hotel. The AC was not working at all in the bathroom, shower & locket rooms and it smelled musty in there. The lobby had no AC either and we were told that the AC works on and off but there is no AC whatsoever in the lobby which is absolutely absurd since it is south Florida and hot here 97% of the year. Needless to say everything was working just fine when I came here years ago. Prices however are not adjusted to the “falling apart” facility.

I found this hotel for a little 4th of July getaway with my mom, saw the pictures, central location- and was confused with the negative reviews. Decided to come check it out despite them- had the best stay. Incredible staff, location is unbeatable, right on the beach, just few minutes away from all the restaurants I wanted to check out. Also brought my two Pomeranians along, it was very comfortable. I end up staying on the first floor and was able to walk my dogs straight out of my balcony to the beach. Lesson learned- never to look at the reviews and use my common sense. Definitely will come back!

After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned before checking in. The front desk person was very accommodating and patient! There is construction on the 5th and 4th floors (renovations underway). This didn't bother us whatsoever, we came for the beach, not to sit in our rooms. The main restaurant has a deck on the beach, beautiful view and great food and service. Try the Baja Fish Tacos and Spicy marg. Great beach access, friendly and accommodating staff!

In what universe this is a four star hotel I don't know. I could have had a better stay at a Motel 6. Nothing worked, even the most basic things. No hot water in the shower, the AC didn't work, contacting them was almost impossible, as they were running on a skeleton crew, the restaurant was closed half the time, the service was abysmal, and that's just the beginning. I cannot believe this is a Marriott property; Marriott should be ashamed to be affiliated with this place. What a complete waste of a phenomenal location. I can't believe we threw away $250 a night for this. There are a thousand other hotels within a mile of here, so there's zero reason to stay at this sad excuse for a hotel.

This hotel is the most poorly run place I’ve ever been too. The hotel its self is in poor condition. The room was old and beat up. We saw a roach in the bathroom. The shower barely works. There was zero service. I don’t know how this place even calls its self a hotel. There was one bar, the drinks were awful. The pool had a bunch of abandon towels on the chairs and floor. Do not stay here, look at the other reviews I’m not the only one.

Went for a staycation with my daughters while dad out of town and we enjoyed the stay. Everything about it was pleasant and being right on the beach how they have it set up , super lovely. The bar is not huge but is very sexy look with the lighting and you can walk right out to the beach!

Attended a wedding on the ocean patio this weekend. The venue was outstanding and every staff member we interacted with was amazing, and was so friendly and helpful. The wedding/event coordinator was so helpful ensuring everything started on time, and ran smoothly from the start to the finish of the night. Special recognition for our bartender, Zelda, she was so kind and served everyone with a smile each and every time. Overall a wonderful experience.

This is the WORST Marriott property I have ever visited. NO TV for 2 days ... which is not a big deal. But I was charged for movies that were never watched, ordered & there was no way to order since the TV service didnt work. I was told a refund would be issued and NEVER WAS. TWICE. Shame on you Marriott. Rooms were dark, out dated, stuffy. Partial ocean view is NOT Partial. It is garden view looking at the next building. Over charged at the pool bar. Still waiting for my charge on movies that were never ordered.

The Tideline is a magnificent hotel with excellent customer service. From my arrival to my departure everyone made me feel welcome! Lisa and Gabby went above and beyond helping me with all of the accommodations. This hotel is 5 stars. You must go and see for yourself!

NEVER AGAIN. When we booked the room from the understanding on the room descriptions ocean front room with pictures made it come off as a room with a balcony. This was not the case so we had to go back down to the front desk to be moved. We were moved to a partial ocean view balcony. (The door had to be FORCED shut or anyone and everyone was going to be able to come in your room) The view was beautiful, but when booking we were not informed about the construction going on in the whole hotel. Pulling up to the resort we could see things being done but did not know what. We understand updates need to be done to Hotels/Resorts, but this was beyond ridiculous. The only restaurant open was the Breakfast/Brunch and Bar. Half way into our stay we got a phone call from the front desk letting us know that EVERYONE staying at the Resort was being kicked out and everyone had to be out with a 24 hour notice. We live states away and were left figuring something out on our own. Not knowing what to do next. We spent almost a whole day of our honeymoon trying to find somewhere else to stay for the remainder of our trip. There was not a manager or owner on site to help the employees nor guest with ANY of these issues. The resort themselves should be informing guest booking stays about this information before taking someone's money.

“I live in Miami and my husband had business in palm beach and bought me a day pass to use the resort and I was very impressed. It looks like they are under new management. I stayed on the beach and was able to go back and forth from there to the pool all day. Nicolette was a great server, I felt like I had my own VIP host for the day. Even with all that running around in the hot sun she made sure I had everything I needed. I truly could not believe in that heat she didn’t forget one thing! Cj and Nicolette took great care of me and I will definitely be coming back to visit.

Excellent location. We checked in and were greeted with a glass of champagne, nice. The hotel itself is modern looking and clean with plenty of amenities, including a pool, billiard table, bar, etc. Convenient too as it's just steps from the beach. You can order food and drinks on the beach as well. The atmosphere was laid back perfect for a getaway.

I recently had a disappointing experience during my stay at Tide Ocean Resort. Florida Despite having previously enjoyed my time there, this recent visit left much to be desired. One of the major letdowns was the breakfast service. The potatoes served were old and burnt, and the eggs Benedict were simply the worst I've ever tasted. When mentioned to the waitress she did not even apologize The quality of the food and attention to detail were clearly lacking. Additionally, the customer service was below par. When I informed the lady at the front desk about the absence of hot water in my room, her attitude was indifferent and unhelpful It's disheartening to see Tide Ocean Resort's decline in quality since my last visit. Consistency is key in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, the standards seem to have dropped. I provide this feedback in the hope that Tide Resort takes it seriously and makes improvements. Guests deserve better service, well-prepared food, and attentive staff. I genuinely hope that future visitors have a more pleasant experience than I did.

Last weekend, I attended a wedding at the Tideline. Prior to the event, I drank a couple beers at the lobby bar. This bar was average and the service was sub par. There were three people behind the bar but they all seemed to be busy and were running around frantically. The wedding was outside on their patio and it was very pleasant. The reception was held indoors in an upstairs banquet room. The appetizers were delicious and the main course was average. Not a bad place for a wedding

All the staff were great. But the rooms were outdated, shoddy and and of ill repair. The whole place has been neglected and needs an overhaul (the staff agrees with this) For the money they were charging there is a severe lack of value. Elevators were slow or 1 of 2 not working. "heated" pool was frigid. 2 out of 3 treadmills in gym not working. refridge was missing from our suite...they brought us one upon request. On and on. I never write reviews abut this is an extreme situation. Stay away.

I stayed here for an overnight beach get away. The hotel is conveniently located and has a beautiful beachfront. I invited friends for lunch, and the pizza, fish tacos and chicken tenders(kids menu) were all excellent. I was able to get upgraded due to my Marriott status and had a lovely room beachfront view! Ricardo was particularly helpful and very professional. I really appreciated his customer service! I will be back!
