My wife and I are kind of local coffee shop connoisseurs and no one makes a good cup of coffee like Dagger Mountain. There’s a good reason so many of the local shops use their coffee. It’s divine.

I'm in love with the remodel and new location. I don't wanna leave and just want to move in 😂 I got the orange latte , which was so tasty. Their matcha was always my favorite.

The best coffee in Town. I came from Dubai and in Dubai there is a lot of varieties coffee. My first month here in Valpo I was starving for good coffee like what I use to in Dubai. My husband and I trying different coffee in town and I was not satisfied the taste. After been trying in 4 coffees shop in town. My Husband introduce this shop and Voilà find my Destiny as what I am looking for. The taste is same in Dubai. I feel like HOME now. Because I have my favorite coffee in town. Thank you Dagger mountain for making me like a Home. I always request my husband to stop by just to get my coffee…..

Very nice boutique coffee roastery and cafe. Friendly service, wonderful special menu of lattes and teas available. Oat milk is their standard go-to for their drinks. Roomy and pleasant atmosphere to relax and enjoy your quiet cafe time. Recommend you visit.

I think the shop is beautiful, but the staff was very rude. I don’t say this lightly, but I actually think they poisoned us somehow. Each person who got a coffee in my group immediately got violently ill and was in the most severe pain ever. The one person in our group who did not get anything there felt great. And the person who only drank a little coffee felt less sick. I go to coffee shops all over the country and I’ve never experienced something like this before. It was way worse than food poisoning! Try at your own risk!

We were there for the first time. The Limestone Blend was pretty good. My wife had a Latte with double heat art. My son had green tea drink. I was surprised so many customers in the Sunday morning in the very corner of the town. We had a great time there.

This place used to be excellent in the old location. However, the last two times I went, they gave me bad cortados. The last one was the worst as it was all foam. A cortado should have microfoam like a latte, not textured foam like a cappuccino. They also need to control the brewing process a bit better on the drinks with less to no milk, because you can taste the errors. This is a tragedy because they are the better roaster and could truly be the best in the area.

A bit hard to find. A sign would be helpful. Nice atmosphere. Good customer service. Very disappointing cappuccino. No frothy or foam. Just pretty much a some light, quite sad bubbles on the top. It looked and tasted like the coffee itself was frothed rather than milk.

It’s a beautiful bright and open space worth the drive down the side road it’s on! A bit confusing the first time you go looking… go all the way to the end of the road and then the entrance is around the back of the building. The service was great and quick and I loved their matcha!

Can I give this place 6 stars??! Seriously we love the coffee here. Roasted to perfection and absolutely delightful. Team is kind and courteous and genuinely engages with a smile. Vibe reminds me of home (portland or). Love the vintage curated decor ❤️

Absolutely love that there is a vegan coffee spot in NWI. I would come here every day if I lived closer. The drinks are AMAZING. Sometimes they gave pastries and they are HEAVENLY. So grateful I found my vegan paradise. Great staff too. They obviously know what they are doing !

This roastery wasn’t in the most obvious spot, but once you find it, you’ll most likely be glad you did! I came here with my significant other. We walked inside and checked out the menu. It was cool how they had it posted in large lettering on the wall! I loved how simple the choices were. We ordered at the counter. I ended up ordering a Latte. I got a small hot and it was 4 25. We sat down at a table and waited for our order. It was ready fairly fast. My Latte was served in a mug on a plate and it had edible art in it. It was nicely presented and the flavor was even better! It made for a casual sip. The shop was very clean and cozy. The art and furniture gave a peaceful vibe. The atmosphere was calm in general. The person who took our order was both professional and polite. There weren’t any problems with the service! Overall, this roastery provided an excellent experience for such a short visit. Amazing place friendly stuff and you have to try there rosé latte

This is the first specialty coffee shop I visited and have been a customer since 2015. It’s great to see them grow. The only bummer is that they used to a pour over for you, with the coffee of your choosing. Now, there’s just a drip coffee option. The coffee still tastes great, and it seems other shops tend to do this once they move to larger spaces. I wish there was the still the option for a v60 or Chemex brew. That being said, it’s not enough to take a star off and I will keep going when I visit the area for espresso drinks and coffee beans that I can make at home with my V60!

A breath of fresh air in a town like Valparaiso. The coffee is strong and good and the vibe is on point. The staff are friendly and the space is really aesthetic and comfortable. Good WiFi and easy parking. A great place to hang for a few hours and get some work done.

The customer service is wonderful and atmosphere is perfect for studying or just chatting with a friend. I got the matcha rose lemonade and it was so refreshing! The decor is aesthetically pleasing as well

I just had the best coffee drink of my life....the Salted Maple. It was a recommendation by the barista since it was my first time there. The space to enjoy coffee is airy and full of light. I definitely will return.

High quality double espresso. Great beans, informed barista and terrific presentation! Worth going out of your way to find this cafe & roastery!
