Treated horribly by the staff on numerous occasions. Discrimination should be their Moto. They profile people.
Has everything from socks to fishing gear. Affordably priced, basic everyday goods can be found here. Friendly service. However, if you are into Versace, Dior, and Rolex...this is not your store.
Such a great store! Always leVe after spending too much becuase we found so many deals. We drive from Cowichan Bay to Lake Cowichan for Fields every 3 months!
Camping in the area Unfortunately, I forgot a glass for my whiskey and not needing watterford Crystal Fields was able to fill my need. Lots of parking
This establishment serves as an ideal locale for a quaint town, offering reasonable prices and a consistently attentive staff. Its proximity and comprehensive array of essential items make it particularly valuable, especially during moments when venturing to Duncan might be challenging.
I really needed a hat to avoid a sunburned scalp during the river float, and a Lake Cowichan local recommended Fields. I found this bucket had for $2.99 and the price was right! Seems like an affordable and convenient place to find a bit of everything you might need.
Good small town shop with a little bit of everything.
You know, I just about drove off the road when I saw this Field's Store while driving through Lake Cowichan. It felt like I hadn't been in one of these store since at least 1948, so naturally I had to pull in and take a gander. It transported me instantly back to my elementary school days when my grandmother used to bring me into the local Field's Store. Nothing has changed, still the most steerage selection of clothing you could imagine, but nonetheless some very good deals to be found if you're willing to sort through the mountains of stuff they have. They even have their own Field's Radio playing over the speakers, with the Field's announcer coming on every now and then talking about what a great selection they have and what a great place it is to work. I'm sure that guy is probably died of old age by now, but it still sounds just like it did over 50 years ago. The staff there was very pleasant to deal with, clearly some of them are career Field's employees, but they were all very nice and efficient. I spent about an hour in there, and I actually bought three shirts. They were all under $12. I did notice that they do have a fairly good clothing selection for the Tubby Tuna females and the Portly Gentleman! There aren't too many places where you can get a 4XL shirt these days, but they were plenty to be had there. And some of them were fairly stylish! And all of them were at a bargain price. None of this charge four times as much because you're at a Fat and Tall store either. Yes, it oozes steerage, but it really is like walking back in time as soon as you go through the doors. It even smells like a did 50 years ago. This was a rare find, and who knew you could find it right in Down Town Lake Cowichan!
Friendly staff and some good deals.
Needed a charger for my phone and very limited to where I thought I could get one...Fields had what I needed and a hole lot more, great pricing and very helpful, friendly service.
Zeller's, Fields, Saan - The Hudson's Bay companies I could actually afford to shop at. Now when you see when it's like finding a unicorn, and I just happen to be in lake cowichan and came across this place. Where else can you get $15 jeans?
Great prices and friendly workers. It has a surprising amount of various items. Enjoyed shopping here.
