Kindergym is great! Recommend.

They don’t have a shower to use for the gym. Who wants to drive home covered in sweat after a workout indoors. 0 stars if I could .

The ice rink is a single sheet of ice, well maintained the rink is cold. There is bench sitting on both sides of the rink. On end on the second level has a glassed off (temperature controlled area) with individual seats. I was told the rink was renovated recently and the dressing rooms have received a very nice make over with a large separate stick rack , filtered watering station then the large individual like stalls. The rink has an electronic scoreboard that allows the scorekeeper to put up represented team names so your not guessing about the score if your late. They also use an electric ice cleaning machine Well done Lake Cowichan

Very clean and well maintained. We were passing through and grabbed a bite at A&W. My kids noticed some other kids with skateboards going into the recreation centre area and wanted to watch them at the skate park while we ate lunch. What a great place, gives kids an outlet and a great view too. Two huge thumbs up from us. We ended up getting out and taking pics. Would definitely stop by again if we were in the same neck of the woods.
