Don't keep driving by, and stop for a quick walk! Great place with a lot to offer. Preserve is open from dusk till dawn, leashed pets welcome. Beautiful little grassland that leads into a wooded area. Lots of wildflowers throughout. Informative tags on some of the various types of trees along the path make for a little fun learning for kids and adults alike. A small loop on the red trail leads to a nice little "pier" that overlooks a section of the Halfway Brook. Trail maps available at the trailhead for Meadowbrook, Rush Pond, and Hudson Pointe.

Beautiful Nature Preserve! Has multiple trail options which loop through beautiful woodlands. Features lots of dense Pine Trees, and some wetlands around Halfway Creek. Great place to get close to nature, go for a hike, or simply relax. It also features a small pier which overlooks Halfway Creek. I'm hoping they add more Preserves like this one to avoid over development of the beautiful wooded areas of Queensbury.

Nice place for a little walk through forest, field & stream. People tend to take their dogs walking here so be mindful of pet waste. Good spot to see butterflies and check out nature with children

Great place to bring the dogs. Close but still out of the way enough to make it quiet

Nice completely level walk. Some open, some wooded. Easy looped trails with maps at almost every intersection. Fairly short though. If you walk every loop I don't know that you'd walk quite two miles without doubling back at some point.

Great easy to hike trails for all ages. Make sure to bring your bug spray and you may want to consider boots if you are going a day or two after rain. Lovely!!

I stopped today hoping to see some butterflies, but there were very few . It’s still a lovely place to walk …. Either around the meadow where there’s nicely mowed paths or through the woods where the path leads to a creek . I did see many birds , bees , toads and dragonflies.

It's a nice walk in the woods but the trail leading to the woods is messy or swampy depending on the weather If you are a Pokemon go player it's fun there are 3 gyms and lots of pokestops

It is currently overgrown, marshy and swarming with mosquitoes. It's a shame because has nice educational tools with information about the plants, animals and trees.

Nice walk especially with a leashed dog. Can see frogs, butterflies and birds. Muddy at some points so wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty.
