I've been searching for my new bagel spot and so far, Beans is a winner! Each time I've gone the bagels are fresh and delicious. They have unique bagel flavors, like churro and fruity pebbles, and even crazier cream cheese flavors! The owner and staff are friendly, efficient, and care about the customers. The shop is clean, the staff work quickly and the menu items are fairly priced. There are some tables inside if you'd like to dine in as well

Amazing bagel spot!!! So happy I stumbled upon it! Got the Leroy on a dorito bagel and it was absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been to many bagel places where they never change their gloves & the same people handling the dirty cash are the same people preparing the bagels all while never changing gloves. This wasn’t the case here. They seemed very mindful of constantly changing their gloves & when handling money they didn’t have gloves on. As a pregnant person who also has allergies this was super appreciated. It also seemed very bright & clean. I’m a tough person to please when it comes to how bagel shops are run & I left here very happy. Will 100% be back & I’m glad I found my new bagel spot!!

Finally trying local eats and landed into Bean's Bagels. Great little place with friendly staff and great food. It was a little wait for the food but it was totally worth it. The bagels are so light and full of flavor, love it!

My favorite bagel shop in Long Island! When on the island visiting family this is our go to spot. Absolutely delicious bagels that don’t need a thing about them changed. Tasty and fresh sandwiches/breakfast also. The staff is very friendly and our whole family loves Bean’s now and has been going more often. The quality hasn’t lacked. Highly recommend.

This place is run by an absolute unit of a manager; the one and only Michael Beans. Mr beans is the best on the island no cap. You have to try their Egg Sammys. Barn Buster? More like Nut Buster! The two that work there I named Sal and Gabby are always friendly, attentive and on point. Definitely deserve some extra dough. Recommend 100/10 never disappoints **** Updated staff is killing it lately! Trevor is the G.O.A.T. Of beans bagels. Always friendly, personable and pays attention to detail😉! Get this man a raise!

We had Beans Bagels just cater a breakfast for our family gathering out in Massapequa it was fantastic. Steve was here 15 minutes early and set everything up for us. The food was FANTASTIC, the service was FANTASTIC. We will be bypassing delis that are an hour closer to use Beans exclusively for any and all catering events we have from here on out.

The bagels are ridiculously delicious (cream cheese too), the salads great and the SERVICE is amazing. This is my first New York bagel and now I’m ruined for any future bagels. The ET’s are too good. Also got some treats shipped fresh from Manhattan daily. Great spot.

My husband and I catered with Bean’s Bagels for our wedding on Saturday morning! They were absolutely amazing. The customer service was incredible, from ordering, to confirming with us a few days before to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. They arrived exactly on time and set everything up for us in our hotel rooms. Our bridal party raved about how great the breakfast sandwiches were and the lunch wraps! It was the perfect addition to our morning. Thanks Bean’s Bagels! We can’t wait to cater again with you soon!

I placed a large order for our monthly church breakfast and the owner was all over it with great attention to detail on all the things we needed. They were very generous with all of the items included and the staff was super courteous and helpful. The bagels were soft, fresh, and delicious and our parishioners raved over them and wanted to know where we got them from. We can't thank them enough for putting together a perfect and delicious order.

went there for the first time today to fill out some paperwork, and I gotta say, nicest guys in town. And Mike can make a MEAN Bacon egg and cheese, that was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in New York this far. Everything in there is super fresh, the atmosphere’s amazing, and you can really tell the owner is extremely passionate about his work. Massive respect. Keep up the good work in there kings, much love <3 (Also try the burrito bagel, 10/10 scrumptious)

So an awesome experience from local bagel cafe that should be a great reason to do business in town with your local small businesses. My son frequents Beans Bagels often with his friends and they enjoy going there and eating their food. Today for whatever reason his card was having issues and the manager of the store gave my son his order complimentary because he sees him everyday. Once my son called us and told us I called the store to pay him over the phone and he said… thanks but no thanks your son is here with his friends everyday and it’s the least I could do since they love coming here. This here is what makes businesses viable and will keep these young men going there as they grow up together. He made a lasting impression on all of his friends, my son and now us! Thank you Beans Bagels for putting a human side to running your business! Forever customers and now my only Bagel Spot!

There are so many bagel delis in St James between Lake Ave and 25A. I have to say, I was thoroughly surprised. I ordered the Leeroy and it was DELICIOUS. You get your money’s worth with how much food it has. There are other local places that are expensive, if not more, and their sandwich’s lack the price point. Staff was also super friendly! I will DEFINITELY be back and looking forward to trying other things.

By far the best bagels if have ever had. I can especially recommend Bean's lox and the Reuben. Both are amazing and the pastrami is simply outstanding. The only unfortunate thing is that it is almost impossible meanwhile to order from them via Uber eats or DoorDash, which I assume is due to them getting too many orders.

Just stopped here for the first time and wow! The BEC on a sesame bagel is incredible. It’s also important to mention how clean the inside was too!

Maybe a little expensive but SO yummy. Was in the Smithtown area running errands and rerouted to the St James post office. Right down the road was Beans with a sign out front that said "you know you need a BEC"... who can argue with that! So I went in and was quickly greeted/helped by the employee behind the counter. Impractical Jokers was on the TV, a flag hung by the door about Bacon Egg and Cheeses, and the place was clean.... a Long Islanders paradise basically. The BEC was almost $9 with tax, definitely more than I would have paid anywhere else/if I'd have known before walking in, but it did come with a small coffee or OJ, and it was TASTY. The bagel was great, the bacon was THICK cut, and the egg/cheese melty situation was heaven. If I lived closer, this would be my new go-to. Way to work, Bean's.

Every time I come to Long Island to visit Family I gotta come here because I'm from Jersey so the bagels are not the best And the bagels here man are sooooo good I've only been here twice but now everyone I come to Long Island I'm gonna come here they are just so good and The cream cheese is amazing also my dad can't have dairy and their Vegan cream cheese he said "it's so good it tastes like it's regular cream cheese. I better not get a migraine" he never did get a migraine because it was actually vegan!! Anyway I'm coming back next time I'm here!!

This is what $7.20 will get you at Beans Bagels. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and well done bacon. There is little to no cream cheese. The bacon portion seemed on point. And it should be for 2.99 to add bacon. If I hadn’t already drove home I would’ve went back to ask for a refund, but the gas to go back wouldn’t be worth it. Never giving them my business again. Edited: The owner then replied to this review blaming “the girls” behind the counter. I was initially helped with my order by a young man with dark hair who passed my order on to another man who I suspect was the manager.

Was looking for a new bagel shop for after church on sundays and decided to stop in after seeing all the good positive reviews here on google. It was fairly empty when I arrived on a Sunday morning. I was able to step up and order right away. I Ordered a toasted bagel with butter and jelly, a second bagel with just lox cream cheese, French toast sticks, and home fries. It took about 20 minutes to finally get all my food and the staff was a bit confused on my order, although it was quite a simple one. The French toast tasted very plain and was extremely soggy pretty much falling apart, the lox cream cheese had about 2-3 pieces of lox on the whole bagel, the home fries were just as soggy as the French toast and tasted like straight up peppers. People who came in after me and ordered five or six bagels with butter and cream cheese were served about five minutes before I even got the two bagels I ordered. It was a disappointing visit considering the great reviews, maybe I got them at a bad time? 2 stars are for the bagels themselves which were good, and the well mannered gentleman who eventually served our food and rang me up. I probably will not return for a sit down breakfast, maybe a half dozen to go. Update to reply: I did not specifically ask for 3 pieces of lox. (Who does that when ordering a bagel with lox cream cheese?) As a matter of fact, you did not even take the order. A young girl took my order. Rather than lie in your reply, you should offer something small to make up for the error, that would be better for your business.

Beans Bagels in Smithtown; the bagels were quite delicious. However, I was disappointed with the egg sandwich. Despite requesting two eggs, I received only one, and the sandwich had an excess of bacon despite asking for a lighter amount. While I would return for their bagels, I'm unsure about trying their egg sandwiches again.

Horrible place. First time here because we wanted to grab lunch after church. We asked for an omelette, it was eggs put together with whole pieces of ham and raw tomatoes (not an omelette) cooks excuse was he didn’t want to chop everything up to avoid a mess ok my plate (what?). My daughters French toast tasted like it was cooked next to something spicy (not edible), the hash browns were gross. My son got the Bomber sandwich… it was gross tasted like expired honey mustard. Ended up still waisting $40. Never again!!!
