Kodus and hats off to all the staff of the Animal Emergency Service for the best experience and care you have provided for COMET! The staff are very genuine, caring, loving, comforting, professional and informative! Impressive customer services! COMET was in good hands with the caring hands of this animal hospital... he never felt uncomfortable... he was at another home away from his home! COMET was a special gift of life to me by my best friend and his family in 2009 after my dad's demise. I finally surrendered COMET, my son, to God on October 14, 2023 at exactly 5pm after 14 years, 5 months, and 6 days from inevitable terminal and age-related kidney disease. 😔 😢 😭 After his stay for two days and an overnight to receive a professional and aggressive treatment, I made the right decision to take COMET home after extensively discussing his medical case with the wonderful and caring staff. I finally accepted the fact that his condition was an end-of-life situation. COMET came home for his final night with me and my family. He transiently perked up and showed happiness by looking at his eyes upon coming home. Unfortunately, he finally conveyed to me that he was so exhausted and it was his time to be with God forever! On October 14, 2023 at exactly 5pm after receiving his final rites and prayers which was internationally attended by my family via Zoom meeting, he was put to rest medically by Jake Labriola D.V.M., his primary and compassionate doctor. It was the saddest moment of my life! It was earth shattering, but, it was the right thing to do to ease and relieve him from his earthly agonies, struggles and sufferings. I knew in my heart that he wanted to join God's fleet of angels and become my angel forever watching over me! His last breath on earth was his first breath in heaven! The "pet" COMET became my "son" and an extended family member! Rest In Peace.... my son COMET! You will be forever missed and loved by Daddy! You are so loved by the family and the people that you have touched their hearts! Till we meet again my son... COMET! Always remember, that Daddy loves you so much! Thank you so much for the best memories and completing my life! You will be forever in my heart! Love, Daddy ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

We can’t begin to express how grateful we are for Long Island Animal Emergency Hospital and their dedicated staff who comforted us through our time of need. If it was not for the folks here who took the time with us and our beloved little girl Fudge and expressed that care and concern, we would have been devastated. They did everything possible to try and save our girls life, but there is a limit that was reached and they helped us cope with that end of life decision and held our hands to get us through to the other side. After all was said and done we would not hesitate to recommend this business. It’s not about money with these folks, they truly cared about our little girl as well as us. Our baby girl crossed the bridge of life in dignity thanks to these folks. With my husband on FaceTime I held her in my arms as she passed quietly.

We came to this facility after our dog was in pain suddenly from a fall. He began dragging his hind legs, feet curled, howling in pain. What we thought might be a dislocated hip was actually a spinal injury. Although this facility did not have the neurologist or MRI to confirm his diagnosis, they did EVERYTHING in their power to help us find one. They called multiple facilities and got estimates for us. This proved to be a difficult feat being a weekend and the middle of the night. Their commitment and dedication blew us away. I wish I could remember names, but the trauma and fear of the situation left my mind blank of such details. They were compassionate, truly understanding and graceful while we tried to devise a plan for our poor dog, Rollo. They didn’t charge us for his initial intake. They boarded, medicated, treated, and tested him in the night he had to wait to be transferred to the next facility. They guided us every step of the way and their prices were very reasonable. They did all the tests they could there to save us further expenses we were expected to incur at the next facility because they knew their rates were better. I cannot thank them enough for setting us on the road to surgery for our beloved German shepherd dog. These people REALLY CARE and provided invaluable advice and guidance. From the bottom of my heart, we thank you for doing everything in your power for our gentle giant, Rollo 💙

My poor Masiey got into a bottle of ibuprofen on Thanksgiving. We had to rush her over to Animal Emergency Services. She spent 48 hours there under observation. I can’t recommend them enough if your pet needs emergency care. They text me updates and pictures of her the whole time she was there. If I had any questions I felt comfortable calling and texting and they would answer almost immediately. I was even able to go and spend a little bit of time with her while she was still there. We had to bring her back 24 hours later to get her levels checked and Masiey ran right in and jumped up happy to see them again. That right there tells me she was treated great when I wasn’t around. I can’t say enough about how great they were. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby for me!

Our family can't thank you enough for taking immediate care of our beloved kitty, Paintball. We appreciate your compassion and professionalism. She is feeling much better. Eating, drinking and giving love and interacting with family again. The hardest part now is making her take her medicines.

We brought my 3yo Bernese Mountain Dog (Charlie) in when he was refusing food which is unlike him. The staff were so caring and friendly. They were fully transparent with wait times and processes. Once my dog was taken back, they let us visit him multiple times. Unfortunately he ended up need needing surgery. Thankfully the vets, techs, and staff were so helpful through the process. I have my dog back home and he’s feeling great now. I can’t thank everyone enough at Animal Emergency Service for taking care of my Charlie :)

My dog was having an allergic reaction to either a bug bite or sting. The staff was caring and courteous from my initial phone call all the way through to the end of our visit. My dog is extremely fearful and they treated her with so much patience and kindness. They were quick to treat her and after an informative discussion with the doctor, we were on our way home. What was most impressive was their follow up text the next morning checking to see how our little girl was doing. They were happy to hear she was doing better and reminded me to reach out if I needed any further assistance.

My dog got into something after a party and we immediately rushed her here. Everyone was so kind and nice and caring for my pup. They even set up a blanket and bed on the floor while we waited in the waiting room. The process of everything was fairly quick and easy and we were in and out in no time. I couldn’t thank them enough for the care with my pup.
