It is great bridge with stunning view over the cliff. We took Sea Cliff Bridge Lookout Track (look up on Google) to climb to the lookout where it offers great view over the bridge. The track is quite steep and require a bit of effort to get to the lookout. However, it is totally worth it as from here you can watch amazing sunrise scene.

We drove this route north to south just before sunset on our way to Kiama. There is a parking bay at the southern end of the bridge. You can get off there and walk a bit along the bridge (there is a walking path) I also recommend stopping at Bald Hill look out and if it is a good day you will also see some hang gliders. You can also try out tandem hang gliding for around $250 for 20 minutes

It was a nice walk on bridge and it was nicer to go under the bridge although only less than half way .The scenes and the ambience is comforting and soothing .The temporary road going down under the bridge at the other end takes you to sea- level but goes less than half way the length of bridge and then you have to return back to the road level .I just thought how wonderful and exciting it would have been if I could reach the top of the road again ,not by returning back ,but by going forward up through some kind of steel ladder to the road level .It will cost substantial amount of money fur construction but the management can recover it through a reasonable charge .Nobody will grudge it .I hope the council there will give a thought to this idea,One,small suggestion -it is a long walk from the railway station and there is no shade in the whole length of bridge ( 600 m +) for protection against sun in the afternoon .If some covered shade for resting and viewing could be provided at 2 or 3 points with drinking water facility ,wouldn't be better? Overall,it was a nice experience

The sun is setting in a burnt Orange Sky; Cliffs are Black Silhouettes; the Sea, Liquid Silver. The walk end-to-end was really nice. Waves sound, air breeze, chilled atmosphere l, running vehicle; everything blended so well that it was so soothing to be there and experience it. Picture was shot on Google Pixel #TeamPixel

An iconic drive along the coast. On the southern side of the bridge there is a spot where you can pull over on the side of the road and walk across the bridge. The scenery was amazing.

Heads up if you have young kiddos or elderly in the group, it's going to be quite a walk but the view is amazing though. Parking is also limited.

Amazing bridge, just a challenge to get a good photo. The scenery along this route is spectacular (especially after the rains they've had). Stop rushing and enjoy. Not a lot of parking for caravans... just beware.

Nie płacę to visit , specially if you got the dron or good camera and you can video from top! The entrance is not easy to find , however just ask people is not far from the car park. Take a comfortable shoes if you want to go up as the way is not to easy!

Wow what a structure, parking available so you can walk the bridge and truely appreciate it. There's some great history to read as well including photos of the past Coal cliff. As beautiful as it is to look across the ocean to the horizon or look down if your brave, take time to look behind you at the magnificent cliff face and all the intricacies. I'm so glad I detoured to the tourist drive enroute to Wollongong. Also there are many other sites on the tourist drive so it's worthwhile, you don't only see the bridge. And it's really not that much difference in Kilometres.

Beautiful place. Best visit it during evening or the morning to get a splendid visual experience. Better to drive through here while traveling from Wollongong to Sydney or the other way round than using the Motorway.

Take a walk or drive over this stunning landmark. Sensational oceans views and the impressive Illawarra Escarpment are waiting for you to experience at the gateway to Northern Wollongong.

One can feel the cool breeze of ocean near the bridge. It offers a beautiful view of the grand ocean. If you take a short hike of 10 mins, the view of the bridge becomes more beautiful

Eye catching view. Be careful while climbing up. Prefer going on sunny dry weather (gets slippery on rainy day). Parking available near the entrance of the climb.

Absolutely freaking gorgeous! So worth the visit and the highlight of our trip. If you go to the Flying High Cafe you can get a big serve of fish and chips that were perfectly cooked while you watch the hang gliders and para sailors take off.

Great location. The drive was well worth it. Try cruising the neighborhood, there are nice spots you can have a look. Don’t miss the Rock Pool it’s amazing worth taking a dip. Parking could be an issue during peak times but take your time and don’t rush. Have a walk on the bridge you will come across great spots for taking photos. Overall a good experience here. Amazing views

We stopped by this scenic lookout in the middle of our road trip to Sydney. It's got a great view of the ocean from the bridge, which has got a walking track for pedestrians. It's definitely worth the visit.

An engineering marvel with one of the best views. There is something about the sound of water splashing at the shores. I went on a pretty wet day and hence there were not too many tourists.

We purposely traveled to get a view of the Sea Cliff Bridge and we’re glad we did. It is certainly an amazing piece of construction - built away from the cliff to avoid continual road closures as a result of land slides on the previous road. If you look carefully as you join and leave the bridge to can see the route of the previous cliff road. It gets very busy so parking nr the bridge can be difficult, and it may require a bit of a walk to experience the bridge on foot. We couldn’t park, so missed that opportunity; we had to make do with a drive across it. Because of the fencing and height of the barriers there wasn’t much to see from the car, but I would imagine it’s brilliant to ride on a motorbike across it. Something for next time.

Great walk in the morning, someone said she spot a whale, unfortunately I didn’t got the chance to see. However it was still a nice, chill and fun walk. Gotta try to climb the uphill to see the bridge from the top next time.

Next to the Bald hill lookout 👀, you can stop at Sea cliff bridge for a Jog/Walk and enjoy the beauty of scenic costal walk way. Hard to find a spot for parking 🅿️ . But there will be a lot of parking spots available in Clifton park and you need to take a short walk.

Excellent Scenic view, one of a kind of bridge in Australia (Wollongong). A lots of pictures of Bridge top is available, my photos are from the bottom, its accessible via side road. You might find few people their. Access is advisable only to adults, or people who are used to trekking.

Sea Cliff Bridge offers breathtaking views of the ocean and is a popular spot for scenic drives and walks. The bridge spans along the coastline, providing a unique and picturesque experience. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Sea cliff bridge was saved in my maps from almost 2 years, and now I'm finally here to experience the drive on the bridge. It does have a great lookout point from Bald Hill Observatory deck. You can also walk along the bridge and enjoy nature. Do not miss out on the experience on your way to Wollongong.

This iconic landmark is well worth the visit. There is a great walk along the length of the bridge where there are many photographic opportunities of this magestic coastline. Whether cliff tops or water the drive to and from the bridge is also a highlight and a lovely drive in itself.

Nice drive. Should check Sea Cliff Bridge Lookout point for the view from above since it is quite hidden. So access this lookout point you should go to the Sea Cliff Bridge Parking lot and behind the Kids’ Playground the track starts. Track is 10 minutes flat walk.

  • 5/5 Jessica L. 5 months ago on Google
A super popular attraction, it might be crowded. It is not very accessible to climb up and down to see the whole view of the bridge, and really depends on the weather. If it’s raining or dark, it will be dangerous to find your way to the lookout. You do need to be careful and mind your steps. But if you can, it worths a try and the view is marvellous!

Rapidly becoming one of the world's most photographed bridge's. Allegedly it needs huge money spent on maintenance and so they're going to implement a toll to cover it. I mean, that's logical, everything else is tolled. ?‍♂️

Satisfyingly windey and curvy. Great view from the secretish lookout in the mountain above it, not easy to get too in the dark though, I almost slid to my death a couple of times. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous lookout. - there is a small lookout if you are willing to climb up to to see an even more spectacular view. Beautiful place to watch the sunrise/sunset. Be careful though, as the climb is steep and quite dangerous, but definitely worth the climb.
