My husband and I went ax throwing for date night a few weeks ago and had a blast! We shared a lane with a fun group we had never met, and had a blast. We had a great instructor help teaching us different ways to throw the axes. It was a lot of fun. Not a full 5 star just because I enjoy being able to just throw the ax over and over again, and there was quite a bit of lag time in between each throw, which is expected with a big group of people. Just wish we had more opportunity to throw continuously. But still, tons of fun, and I would highly recommend this especially if you haven’t thrown axes before.

We ventured out to Axe Throwing Tampa today for a team-building experience. We had a great time. Our axepert,Axe-fault, was thorough, engaging and was a good teacher. I have never thrown before. I will visit again to keep sharpening my skills. Thank you for a great time Axe Throwing Tampa!

Coach Barry was Amazing!!! He literally took his time with instructing my Sister and I on how to properly throw the axe! However it took me longer to grasp the whole concept but coach Barry didn't get frustrated with instead he continued to motivate me as well as routed me on until I finally got it!!! Thank you coach Barry!!!

Had a great time, and our coach, Barry, made it an axe-cellent experience. Most of our party had never thrown prior. Before long, we were hitting bulls eyes left and right. If you’re looking for something different, this is an awesome choice. Axe Man

This is great for a date, release some anger, or just simply have fun. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. We purchased our tickets online for the time we wanted to come in. we checked in then were given rules and instructions. From then on it was game time, you can either just throw the axe or play games. You have a hour and 30mins to throw the axe, so try not bring too many people along.

First time and it was a really nice time.

Well we didn't really know what to expect, but definitely a great way to break up the monotony of a dinner and movie date night. Bonus if you had some stress in the last few days and need to alleviate some of that by throwing an axe extremely hard as you imagine the person or issue that gave you that stress. The coaches were extremely fun and made it a great time. We had a blast and met some amazing people. Highly recommend this one.

Showed up for a work get-together, left as an axe throwing master (sorta 🤣). We had an amazing time here, the gentleman showing us how to throw the axes was funny and a real pro at this. I'll definitely be back for more!

Went to Tampa Axe Throwing tonight a d had a blast. Place was clean, staff friendly and accommodating. Great place for some family fun!!

Gets boring without drinks

WOW. If you're on the fence about booking an axe throwing evening for you and your crew, DO IT NOW! This was my best friend's idea and I have to say, at first, I wasn't too excited. Throw some axes? Okay, sure, why not... but I was blown away by how fun it was! You don't just get shown how to correctly through and then left to your own devices. There are a number of different games they have you play that keeps your entire 90 minutes full of thrills! We were cheering and getting pumped with adrenaline with each new game, and at the end, all team bets are off and it's everyone for themselves as you battle it out for who will take home the title of THE LUMBER LORD. Just too much fun! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend for a fun night in Tampa! Follow up with beer and grub at Cigar City Brewing for a taste of Tampa, too. :)

Sir Axe Allot made our experience so fun! He's a real cool guy who teaches through demonstration. I've been wanting to do this for years! We played games, laughed competed and learned so much the whole time. The environment had no distractions; which enabled us to focus and track our improvement.

A group of four of us had an amazing time, it was lots of fun. “Sir axe a lot” was our coach he was amazing and very energetic, he made our experience really fun. Will definitely be back.

We ended up being a little late but was still able to enjoy the whole experience. Axeplosion was very funny and great at instructing us along with giving me helpful tips when I lost confidence when trying to throw one handed axe. While my team didn't win any of the games, I did get a blueberry and a few bull's-eyes. Overall enjoyable experience!

Really fun with games to play and really helpful. Very attentive to your learning and safety. 10/10 recommend

Awesome experience on our mini vacay in Tampa, seen reviews to this place and it was a much enjoyable experience thanks to Sir Axe A Lot!! He was much of help, exciting, fun and very engaged and helped us all enjoy our time! Much respect to that gentleman! Will recommend and come back next time in town!!

It was our first time doing this and “Axefault” made it super fun and easy to learn! We had a blast. He took the time to show us how to improve our throwing and was so nice We will be back again!!!

We had the best time at Ace Throwing Tampa. Our instructor “Axeattack” made our experience ten times more fun! I want to personally request him every time I go!!! He was so much fun and taught us so much!!! We loved the whole experience and definitely will be back!!!!

had a great company party, Barry was very accommodating to beginners and advanced throwers alike! good mix of instruction and games, and safety is a #1 priority. thank you for your hospitality, definitely recommend!

This was such a fun experience. Went to celebrate my children's birthday. Barry, our host, was hilarious and made the our time at Axe Throwing Tampa a great one. The four stars is due to the facility is really small and location was not easy to find due to lack of signage. No food or beverages.

If you’re looking for a great time in Tampa and group competitive activity I highly recommend this place. The staff member attending to us (Axe Attack) was super attentive, professionally, and very informative from start to finish. He made sure to enjoy are time and I’m pretty sure he enjoyed our company. Definitely would go again when I visit Tampa in the future

Honestly wasn’t expecting to have that much fun. Axe attack was awesome host who created games and activities which lead to some competitive friends getting into it. We really enjoy the entire time. We will be back as I need to win next time!

Axe Attack was our instructor for an office outing recently and we had a blast! He was great to show us how to throw, and even helped a few fix their form into the games to be able to get the axe to stick. Great selection of music too! Definitely recommend checking them out for any type of gathering - looking forward to scheduling a date night next!
