I have coming to this vet for a while it’s been good. But lately I feel like the customer service has gone down hill. Plus I feel like communication is not well at all. I have 3 cats. One of my cats is purebred Bengal and he is vary shy, anxious and a little dramatic. I have always accompanied him to his appointments to help calm him. I was told at Banfield that their policy does not allow you to come back with your pet. I wish they would have communicated that to me before the apt and I would have gone somewhere else. This office is acting like covid is still new. I have absolutely no problem wearing a mask and came with one! But I had to argue with technician to be able come back with my cat for an exam. I know my cat want to make sure he comfortable as possible. The vet gave a lot good and helpful information but did not write anything down or offer a print out of the discussion. On top of that my cats are 100% indoor so they do not need feline leukemia vaccination. After I left I learned that I needed feline leukemia for the kitty day care that they go to while I am on vacation. I was told I could not come in just for the vaccination. I had to pay for another exam even though he just had one. I was in the process of bringing my other cats to this location but after this I am unsure. I was allowed at different vet to bring one of my other cats in just for the vaccination when I learn I needed it with out being charged for an exam, because he had a current exam. I know every office is different and has different policies. But the cat literally just had an exam. They could try to be friendly and help you out a little bit.

Plenty of room for multiple animals in waiting room without being too close together. Tie downs at counter for leashes makes filling out paperwork much easier. Friendly staff. Quick to check in and weigh animals. Lots of after-visit information. Air-conditioned. Would suggest a patch of grass or earth close by for animals that get nervous on car rides and need to potty before visit. Walking across a hot parking lot on a 104° day was not ideal for 2 large dogs.

Had a bad experience with another pet hospital in Beaverton that cost over $800 (and potentially more because they wanted us to return for additional unrelated labs/tests). They left us with no answers for our dog’s skin issues. We got an appointment here and had our problems solved in a single visit! Staff is awesome and welcoming upon entry. The vet also explained her diagnosis in full detail and took the time to answer any questions/concerns without making us feel rushed. Couldn’t be happier with our experience and will always stick with Banfield 👍🏼👍🏼

Updated to one star. Had an appointment at 3:30pm on Sunday to drop off my deceased ferret for cremation and the office is closed with no explanation. No phone call, no email, nothing. Hours posted on the window are open until 6pm on Sunday. I really appreciated the emotional trauma of carrying my dead ferret to the car, crying and saying "Time for your last ride, bud", only for them to have closed with no explanation, so I can bring my ferret's body back home with me. I give up. Original post - Decent services. Please, PLEASE put on your hours of service that you're out on lunch from 1:30-2:30... You can do that on Google. Would save a lot of wasted time for people traveling to this location. Sitting in the parking lot I watched 3 other people walk up to the door and frustratedly walk away.

Kind of frustrated with this location. The care my pet receives here is always great but trying to get in touch with them is terrible. I've called multiple times on multiple different occasions where they just don't answer. And if you want to get your pets nails clipped, they tell you to call the day of or day before. How am I supposed to get it scheduled if they never answer the phone and then when they do, they say there's no availability. I've had the same issue all year long where its difficult to just get a simple nail clipping scheduled.

Ive only taken my kitten for appointments at this location for his last two appointments and they have the same level of friendliness and great service as any other Banfield. Little Dijon is always in great hands with them! Sure, I may be a little biased because they called my kitten one of the sweetest BUT I think that only proves my point that they really pay attention and care for their furry clients! My handsome guy is healthy and has been for his 4 years thanks to Banfield!

The service is ok. The doctors and vet techs seem to care about the animals when they discuss care, but they're difficult to get in touch with when you need an appointment for illness or injury, like now, when their hours indicate open until 6:00 p.m. and it's 4:55. I called to make an appointment for my ill pet and the voicemail said they're closed. We've had to go to different vets when our pets have been injured in the past. They do, however, call, text, and email very frequently, too much really, for preventative treatment. If I'm remembering correctly, one also is unable to obtain vaccine and comprehensive exams on the same day as well, which means more stress for both the animal and the parent who has to take time from work.

I take both my Husky and Kitten here and always love it. Super nice staff, they are always excited to see my little furry family and are super helpful. I have the insurance program for both animals and I personally think it's been a solid deal (I haven't done much comparison shopping but check ups, teeth cleanings, and the spay/neuter for kitten seems like good value for the annual cost). They are booked out a ways is the only thing I'd say could be an issue.

Dr. Kristi and Dr. Knox are good. I have nothing against them. It’s about the optimum wellness plan that they have and claim how it is the best option for your dog. I have active care plus for my dog and it covers unlimited office visits and 2 virtual visits. My dog has been coughing a bit. I called for a physical/virtual appointment. They never accommodate you. Whenever I went in with my dog for ‘walk-in’ (because the plan covers it), I have been turned away. When I asked their rude front desk person, I think her name is Ace (believe she is new at this location. The person before her was super nice at least), if she can check other locations to see if there is any availability then she straight up said that she can’t do that. Btw.. i have been helped with appointments at other locations in the past. So, they do have the visibility into the calendar of other locations. A front desk person particularly at a medical facility should be polite and helpful but she is neither. I hope I don’t have to deal with her again. Pls think about investing in their plan twice. You won’t be able to leverage half of the benefits when you need to. Unfortunately, google doesn’t let me respond to business owner’s comment. So, I am adding it to my original review. The response from owner was to just reach out to them via email even though everything is mentioned right here. No help in scheduling the appointment whatsoever. One can’t predict when their pets will be sick. So, these appointments are 99% ad hoc, which they don’t accommodate. All they care about is $$$. I started calling myself and was able to secure an appointment 2 days later at a different location. Anyway I will reach out to them via email. I intention is to just make fellow pet parents aware so that they make an informed decision.

We’ve been with them for 9 years now, and in the last year has been a terrible experience for us! They do not follow up when needed, do not provide proper care for our dog and just try to charge us left and right This is not a good location! The doctors and stuff are careless and just trying to get more people through the door $$$$ Most appointments have been in the crowded hallway, not even in a room Would recommend you stay away if you can

I have taken my pup here on two occasions for travel health certificates, and have always had a great experience. The team is very thorough to ensure all information is accurate and that the process is as smooth as can be. They will always be my go-to vet when I am in the Oregon area. Thank you Banfield Progress Ridge!

If you care about your pets, go anywhere else. After waiting several hours for them to return my call, I attempted to reach out to them again. Someone picked up the phone and hung up on me before I could even say hello. Don't tell people "You'll get right back to them" if you never actually intend to do so.

Vets all seem very friendly and helpful, front desk gals have been great too. This location seems much better than others and I like the plans because you pay monthly.

I will never go to Banfield again. I signed up for a monthly payment plan to have my dog spayed. She died before any services were rendered and I’m being told I have to pay for the service still. My dog died last June, I called to let them know and I was told I’d only have to pay through December. Now I’m being told they need me to keep paying since the “service was performed.” Did they spay my dead dog and are making me pay for that?

Leaves voice-mails but doesn't answer the phone, Banfield is great overall. But I'm gonna be seeing another location after waiting for a month for an appointment here.

Jamie at the front desk is extremely unprofessional and rude. She left a message confirming drop off appointment the day before my appointment then when I arrived belittled me for trying to drop off my dog because I didn’t have a drop off appointment. It’s really disappointing as someone whose used Banfield for 9+ years so see how poorly the quality has gotten. I ended my membership plan due to Jamie’s poor service and will find a better vet going forward

The Progress Ridge location is a clean facility with friendly staff but I’m feeling frustrated with some of their procedures. My cat has a simple, routine check up (no vaccines or anything) and they said I have to drop him off at 8:45AM and will get a call to pick him up between 1 and 4pm. I asked why he has to be there literally all day long and they said the vet has other patients and will get to him when she can. I made the appointment originally for 9AM. I don’t understand why he would need to be there for more than 30 minutes and why I’m not allowed to be there with him for a routine checkup. This seems like a very poor procedure for stressed out animals

This office is by itself meaning it's not in the big pet store. Much quieter with better service. The coffee machine they have has an awesome selection of hot chocolates with mint etc the best I have ever seen in any office.

I would give it five stars however the amount of money that I have to pay for pet insurance that's more than I pay for insurance for my children so I mean I know there's a lot of excessively obsessive crazy pet lovers out there however if it came between my children or an animal my children 100% that's the only reason didn't give it five stars price is a little expensive not the most expensive but up there in price for sure just to take care of an animal a companion for the household

Needed help obtaining blood work due to my sweet fluffs auto immune system and they were very helpful and accommodating during this experience.
