This place was great. Fun natural playground for my 6 and 3 year olds. The elevated walkway makes this place as good as a zoo. The wetland was full of wildlife from ducks, red-winged blackbirds, nutria and geese flying overhead. It was hard to finish the whole loop because my 3 year old had to stop and say hi to each duck… so a lot of stopping.

Great little nature park. Lovely morning bird noises and many ducks! The kids also loved it. Update: Saw 2 nutrias on a subsequent visit.

Love this park. Quiet, lots of wildlife to see. Tidy and peaceful. Love to do morning or evening strolls here in the summer.

The playground is great for kids and we saw lots of animals. No bathrooms but otherwise fantastic visit and accessible for toddlers.

The time was near an end but not only after a relaxing walk, but after walking to and from my destination where I had some much needed nature calling and new spot to enjoy. Just another beautiful park right outside our front door in Milwaukie. I would strongly suggest visiting y'all.

Pros- accessible, good for toddlers. Cons- no bathrooms, sounds of the city/industry. A nice nature park for the area, but I would not recommend driving through traffic or a long way to get here.

My 6 y.o. and I went today. We had a great time watching the animals. I enjoyed the variety of native plants. It's such a great environment for local wildlife. Whoever designed the natural area did an amazing job. It's an excellent teaching opportunity for kids.

Very nice area. The play area was great for our little one to run off some energy before walking in the wetlands walkthrough. Nice that it's a raised walking platform too.

Thank goodness for the recent rains. The park is full of water again and the birds are back. Reminder no dogs allowed on boardwalk.

This is one of my most cherished places in the Portland area. Nothing too fancy, not too big, just a nice little oasis of both calming clarity and the excitement of seeing a new bird or making a new animal friend. The nutria always remind me to simply exist in the world and appreciate what I have.

Love walking here and seeing all the ducks and Nutria swimming around.
