I just moved to Oregon and needed a root canal right away; I was having trouble finding an endodontist, and one place I called was booked until mid-July! Cascade was able to fit me in the very next morning. Dr. Welk and Shauna are absolutely amazing! They were very thorough in their explanations of the process, and made sure I was at ease (I was super anxious). I felt very minor discomfort in the beginning (the anaesthetic shots); besides this, the whole procedure felt very short and quick. A big shout out to Nancy at the front as well--thank you so much for making those calls to my previous dentist/endodontist and getting me in so quickly!

Dr. Welk listened to every concern I had which gave me anxiety. He assured me that my root canal would be successful and that I need have no fears. He was right. He is highly skilled, I felt very little discomfort, and it was finished in no time. I've had no pain since the root canal. The other staff were also great to work with, the office is lovely and dental equipment is up to date. I highly recommend Dr. Welk to anyone who has fears of dental procedures.

I highly recommend Dr. Welk! I recently had my first ever root canal. Having heard past horror stories from friends about their root canal experiences, I admit to being nervous about the procedure. Dr. Welk did an outstanding job. He was capable, collected and a consummate professional! The entire process took less than 45 minutes. I had NO pain in the area even after the anesthesia wore off and none the following day or since. Additionally, the office itself is lovely, has all the latest equipment to provide an accurate diagnosis and his support staff was welcoming and friendly. Dr. Welk is THE endodontist to see if you are ever in need of one!

Both the assistant and endodontist were great. I've built up a lot of anxiety regarding dental procedures due to past experiences and this was by far the smoothest and most pain/discomfort-free procedure I've had from start to finish.

I had an amazing experience with them!!!. I had been terrified of getting a root canal so I put it off for about 3 years. I was finally in so much pain I didn't have a choice so I scheduled an appointment with them and they got me in and done fast. It didn't hurt at all, I was shocked! I can't believe I waited so long to do it. The staff is wonderful and friendly, the place is super sterile with a relaxing feel. I wish I could go here for all my dental needs. They were also very straight forward from the get go about what it would cost which was nice. I was able to plan for it financially and overall it wasn't that bad cost wise. There was no waiting 3 weeks or more to finally get a bill without having any idea what the cost will be after insurance and then hoping you will have enough. I was able to get it done and pay same day. I 💯 recommend them for anyone needing a root canal.

No one likes the thought of a root canal, but if you find yourself needing one, Dr. Welk is the one you should see. I had my 3rd root canal with him on Thursday and I was in and out and back to work in under 2 hours. His staff is wonderful as well. Nancy at the front desk is so knowledgeable, great to visit with and always goes the extra mile for you in any way she can. She truly puts patients at ease. The assistants are always friendly and very helpful during the procedures. I highly recommend Cascade.

A really good experience, and Dr. Welk did a great job. Several years ago, thinking I might need a root canal, my regular dentist referred me here. Welk did an assessment of my problem at that time and said he couldn't be sure that I needed the procedure. He explained in detail what he thought was going on and told me to come back if the situation changed for the worse. I appreciated that. So when my tooth and gum recently started bothering me more, I returned. Everyone that works here -- including Nancy and Shawna -- is smart, competent and professional. They all communicate well and made sure I was well-informed and comfortable at every turn. The actual root canal took less time than I'd predicted and was pain-free. I was so relaxed in the chair, I caught myself snoring a time or two. He replaced the filling he had drilled out with another permanent (and well-done) filling, making a follow-up trip to the dentist unnecessary. Before I left, Dr. Welk took another X-ray to show me what he had done. I was impressed. In fact, I was impressed with every facet of my experience here.
