Not
long
ago,
I
heard
about
Lloyd
Center
mall
going
bust.
With
one
less
decent
walking
indoor
mall
in
the
Portland
metro
area,
it
makes
the
presence
of
Washington
Square
even
more
important
to
the
region.
I
wondered
if
this
mall
had
survived
the
2
year
lockdowns.
So
I
took
a
walk
and
frequented
one
snack
eatery.
I'm
happy
to
say
that
the
feeling
at
the
mall
is
more
positive
than
I
could
have
expected.
All
the
storekeepers
seemed
very
happy
and
optimistic,
and
all
the
shoppers
seemed
equally
happy
to
be
there.
Best
of
all...
the
mask
mandate
is
no
longer
in
place,
so
you
can
decide
if
you
need
one
while
shopping
here.
Nearly
every
store
space
is
occupied,
and
all
of
them
seem
alive,
some
are
vibrant.
I
hope
that
in
due
time,
they
will
all
be
well.
This
is
a
wonderful
place
to
shop
and
eat.
Not
just
for
walking
and
snacks,
but
I
shall
visit
here
more
often
myself.
I
really
like
this
place.
