Gull Point Lodge is the most beautiful wedding venue. We absolutely loved the location, venue, and ability to bring in our own food and drinks. Our guests raved about the view!

Beautiful campground, well maintained, and very clean restooms. Would have given it 5 stars but reserving a site online with electricity is near impossible, website said not available and we took a non electric. Arrived to see maybe 2% of electric sites being used.

Would stay here again. In West Okaboji, IA Gets busy on weekends. $10 a night. Clean bathrooms with flush toilets. Showers available at bathroom by electric sites. Some sites reservable, some sites first come first serve. Not much for hiking trails.

Beautiful Park, RV Campground with amenities, beautiful beach picnic tables, sand volleyball court a rentable Lodge at 200 for weekends and $100 for weekdays. One of my favorite places in the world. A beautiful wedding spot with over 100 guests seated comfortably in the lodge easily.

Love this State Park! Gorgeous trees, hills, walking paths, really nice rain/shower facilities. Cheap prices and there are electric hookups! Plus, it's never as busy as Emerson Bay!

The park is nice, lots of trees, paths to walk on and within walking distance of the little beach they have. There's no water hookups at any of the sites so fill your potable water tank at one of the few spigots around the park before you park your camper. There's 2 hosts here, the one at the top of the hill is pretty calm and keeps to himself but the old lady host over by the main bathrooms in the middle of the park is kind of a witch. She needed to know what I was doing when i was looking for a spot to park, then when she found out I had kids she started recommending sites that weren't near her and it was obvious she was trying to keep people from parking anywhere near her. The next day my wife and kids went to the bathroom by her site and she went into the bathroom to tell them that the showers are for campers only. Of course my wife explained that we were camping there and had to give her the exact site we were at, then the old lady told them to keep the bathrooms clean because she works hard to clean them every day (they were a mess with dirt and hair all over the floor, I might add). Then she sat there in the bathroom the entire time my family was in there. I guess we must have given her "hoodlum" vibes or something. Nice park? Yes, for the most part. Will we go there again? Probably not, thanks to that witch of a host.

Moonlight Melodies provided sound support including wireless microphones and music for an outdoor wedding ceremony. We also provided entertainment for the reception in the lodge. The lodge is absolutely wonderful with a rustic combination of stone and wood. It's right on the lake. A good venue for a wedding!

Definitely will come back again. Stayed for a couple week days and it was very quiet. Bathrooms are very nice and have warm water and showers.

Went to the Gull Point State Park Lodge for a wedding in August. The lodge is tucked back right up to the water, so that provided some privacy from the campground. The ceremony (pictured) was very pretty with nice views of the lake. The Lodge itself is very pretty and fit well with the theme the bride and groom were wanting. The one negative, however, is that there is no air conditioning. We had all the windows open and fans going, but there was next to no breeze that day, so it was pretty miserable temperature wise during the entire reception and dance. Otherwise, it's a very beautiful place.

Would give this place five stars but I know it will have 5 stars once the renovations are done. Beautiful campground just needs the modern updates for larger rigs. We have a 50 amp that failed all weekend because the grid couldn’t handle it. Looking forward to future improvements!

This is a great state park. They have a beach, showers and bathrooms, fire pits, plenty of spots to camp in a tent, RV, or Camper. One note—some spots a on a little slope and most of the spots available online are not as nice as same day signup only camping.

👍👍 This was a fun side trip. It may seem a little odd driving through a campground to get there. However once you get through it there's a nice parking area where you could get out and walk around the sculpture and down by the river. There are some great photo opportunities. There is no admission charg...
