🫤 I have been at this practice for about 5 years, and I’ve finally had enough. Though my actual doctor was really great and took time once with me, I waited over an hour to see them for over 80% of my appointments. This last time I waited an hour and a half before I was called in, and then told the do... People often mention time, office, doctor, desk, front, care, appointment, told, hour, recommend,

My husband and I have visited this office several times over the years, but recently had an issue with billing. I had a swab test for COVID-19 during a sick visit by Dr. Nanda Ramsaroop while I was 18 weeks pregnant. The CPT code they used was not covered by my insurance – the "respiratory virus panel" they submitted was considered experimental and investigational. When I was billed by Quest, I had several back and forth calls with their office and Quest. I eventually filed an appeal through my insurance, which was denied. My insurance told me to have their office re-submit the claim under a different CPT code. When I gave them this option, I was told through the receptionist, by someone named “Sejal,” that there was absolutely nothing they can do further and that I was responsible for a $1,000 bill for a simple swab test, which you can get done at a local pharmacy at no cost. They eventually resubmitted the claim with a different diagnosis code, but using the same CPT code, which was again denied by my insurance. I was NOT told at the time of my visit to check with my insurance on whether this test was covered. I ended up losing my baby later that month at 22 weeks. For someone who is grieving the loss of their child and the costs related to an unplanned abortion procedure, in addition to this bill for something that can be easily resolved, is devastating. Being told by their office that there’s absolutely nothing they can do demonstrates the lack of compassion and care for their patients. Northeast Primary Care has no proper etiquette to tell you things directly and will have the receptionists convey their messages to you. The website states: “Most of all, we believe healthcare should be more emotional and less mechanical, more caring and less clinical.” I do not recommend this business if you are looking for compassionate, transparent care.

I have been at this practice for about 5 years, and I’ve finally had enough. Though my actual doctor was really great and took time once with me, I waited over an hour to see them for over 80% of my appointments. This last time I waited an hour and a half before I was called in, and then told the doctor wouldn’t be with me for atleast another 20 minutes. I would have to wait in the room. I said goodbye. I’ve also had to call their office multiple times for them to send referrals to my specialists. I needed one just this past week, and I called 5 days before to have them send a referral to my specialist. A few days later, I showed up at my specialists office, and surprise..they never sent anything over. I had to call them back 3 times in the next 20 minutes because I was put on hold and given the run around. I almost missed my specialist appointment! Finally I spoke to someone at a call center I believe and she helped me when she heard the urgency in my voice. This is not the only time this has happened. Enough is enough! I have an appointment with a new practice in a few weeks, and I hope this new place respects their patients time and level of care more than Northeast Primary Care.

Had very bad experience at this location for my first visit today. I made an appointment through Zocdoc with Dr. Sharda at 11am to treat throat pain from Covid. I went to the location on time and front desk checked with me when I got Covid. After half an hour, nurse let me in and I shared the same info as with front desk. Nurse told me doctor will come soon. Then I waited for another half an hour. As the waiting room door is closed, seems nobody remembers there is a patient waiting here. Around 12pm, 1 hour after my appointment time, I decided to check with someone when doctor will come. I checked with a pretty nice doctor (I don't know her name, but really appreciate) coming out from an opposite room. Then the dramatic thing happened when she checked the schedule for me: I am under Dr. Barasch. Nurse also came and told me Dr. Sharda is meeting her own patients and I need to wait for at least 2 more hours if I still want to meet her, otherwise I can meet Dr. Barasch shortly. She also mentioned Zocdoc schedule is not up-to-date sometimes and I need to check with front desk for more info when I asked why this happened as I have waited for 1 hour and was told I won't be able to meet my appointed doctor. I finally decided to meet Dr. Barasch reluctantly as I didn't want to waste more time here. I have to say this doctor made me very uncomfortable. I've told nurse and front desk when I got covid (less than 5 days). But when she heard that, she said something like: she doesn't understand why they let me in the office! I didn't know it's better to stay at home for 5 days before visiting clinic. Being a doctor, you have hundreds ways to explain this policy to me, not to mention I've told front desk and nurse already. If you don't understand why they allowed me in, check with your colleagues please, instead of saying that to me. I don't know either and feel pretty unorganized here. Everything was quick afterwards, in a rush in fact and impatient. Looked like she wants to be away from me asap because of the virus. I checked with front desk why this happened, she apologized and passed the buck to Zocdoc and mentioned I already checked in when she noticed this. In short, after waiting for 1 hour, I have to meet another doctor and even nobody told the schedule issue from front desk to nurse before I asked about it. And the new doctor attitude and words were offensive. I do not recommend this place.

Been a patient for almost 4 yrs. This place used to be good but not anymore!! Made me wait for almost an hour, charged all the copays and i had to leave. They literally talk upfront about the $50 no show charges but doesn't value a patient’s time. Went to the front desk multiple times to check when I’ll be seen to get vague responses. They refunded the copay eventually.

Dr. Sharda is excellent. Thorough, kind and cares for her patients. So much so, I have changed my mothers primary care to her as well. But as other reviews have mentioned, myself and my mother have waited hours after checking in early or on time for appointments. I’ve been a patient for over 4 years and never made an issue regarding this. What I find ridiculous is not just the blatant disregard for my time but also when circumstances outside of my control cause my inability to make it to my appointment on time- no accommodations can be made. They emphasize a $50 no show fee despite clear and constant communication on the patient’s part- but what about the hours of time wasted on making and sitting for an appointment when the office treats you like a walk in anyway. A doctors visit is stressful enough without losing majority of your day and the lack of empathy and care on the office staff’s part. I am a health care provider myself, there are better options in the area. Do not waste your time here.

I am irritated with the front desk. Firstly when they made the appointment they didn't mention they require masks. When I reached the office for appointment they insist on one, firstly they have such limited parking and I had ro find parking a mile away by the hospital, secondly it's 90f and I wasn't going to walk all the way back, also I didn't have a mask in the car. Is it such a big deal to offer patients a mask or let them know they need to have a mask when making the appointment. I took an hour's permission from work to make this appointment. I am sure the office don't care, cause they get their salaries irrespective or patient experience. It's the doctor that has to deal with patient satisfaction scores.

I have visited this location twice and had a huge issue with billing. My lab work was sent to a location that did not accept my insurance and I was billed out of pocket. Dr. Joise Joy Go gave me a referral to two specialists, whom I didn't see due to scheduling issues and I was still billed for. I tried calling the office and asked to speak to the manager multiple times but never received a call back. I had to reach out to my insurance to resolve this. I do not recommend this place at all.

This place has really gone downhill. The front desk seem like lost puppies with no coordination and their phlebotomist seem to be fresh out of school. I needed papers signed by my doctor and a blood test which i repeated even when they called to confirm my appointment but they decided to schedule me on a day my doctor wasn’t even in. ???? Then told me I had to come back because i couldn’t see another doctor to get my papers signed. how about no? I especially set this appointment to get the papers sign which i repeated at the time i made the appt and the confirmation of appt. After much back and forth, they finally let me see the PA who was able to complete my forms (not complicated at all- just to say i’m healthy). This took 1.5 hours total. What a waste of my time. Stay away!!!! as for the phlebotomist, no offense to him but he poked me with the needle and then proceeded to rummage around unable to find a vein. i don’t think i ever had a blood drawn that hurt so much before and I have autoimmune disease so i get poked…a lot. I asked him to let me go to quest instead of getting poked again.

Very unprofessional front desk. I was waiting for an hour to have bloodwork and meet with Dr. Costello. After talking with the front desk why so late, they got me in but said Dr. Costello is in another office and the blood work is not even in their order! Although I have proof of text sent from their office and they scheduled the appointment after calling me. Guess what? They even didn’t say “sorry.”

I’m extremely happy with this office. Dr Go is very nice and She takes the time to listen to her patients. Front desk girls were very nice and I didnt have to wait long to see the Dr. Go. This office also has its own lab where they draw blood. The lab was very clean. I’m very impressed with this office and will recommend to family and friends.

I had wonderful experience at Northeast Primary Care , specially withDr. Sharda Ramswaroop . She is excellent Dr. She takes good care of you by listening your questions & concerns & react on it . She is very pleasant . About the staff everyone @ front desk are so pleasant & helpful .you feel it very welcoming . For lab department , everyone is very attentive , they don’t waste any time . Once you get in the office within 45 mins or in 1hr you are out with pleasant experience. There is also parking available. I will strongly recommend everyone for this office .

The doctor here is great but the office should be more organized. I have been coming here for 3 years and the wait time just keeps getting worse and worse. I have been waiting for an hour and 20 minutes.. and counting. They also have taken people who came after me to see the same doctor I am. I don't understand why a patient that came 10 minutes ago gets called in and sees the doctor before me when I have been waiting over an hour. Seriously considering switching to another place.
