JUST A REALLY GREAT BAR! Arrive by car, boat or on foot for a really cool experience, hang with locals, in one of the many bars at this waters edge spot! Oftentimes there is a band, each time we’ve been there we’ve enjoyed the music, definitely adds to the fun. FOOD - lot of bar food that is good, but you’re here for the VIBE above everything else! ENJOY!

You simply can Not come to West Palm and miss going to this historic open air restaurant! It is full of character and charm...and maybe a ghost! It sits idealy on the waterfront and every seat has a beautiful view. The food is delicious with perfect variety - everyone can find their new favorite! The atmosphere is casual & comfortable, the staff friendly & caring (they keep a birthday cake candle lit in the cross breeze with the ingenious use of an overturned water glass!) and Do Not forget to leave room for an actual slice of Key Lime Pie! This place lives up to its name, and their version is light and sweet, not heavy and tart like you'll likely find elsewhere. Evenings are popular & bustling, and cool breezes may require a sweater. It is ideal for brunch, lunch or an early dinner if you like to watch the boats and pelicans traveling by...and the beautiful sunset! Enjoy it all and buy the t-shirt on your way out to the complimentary valet parking! It is typically vintage, classic Florida.

This was a great spot, I'm glad we stopped to try it! Under staffed but which place isn't nowadays. The lone waitress did a great job though. The food was very good. Got the smoked fish dip which was my favorite. The chips that accompanied it were very good too. Ordered the specialty fish sandwich which was salmon, goat cheese, onion jelly on a bun. Something new but very good and supposedly their hottest item. The lobster bisque was just ok. The key lime pie was outstanding! Recommend sitting at the back bar or any of the tables by it. Great view and music!

We came as soon as they opened hoping for a brunch type situation. I was immediately surprised by the mandatory valet parking. That was disappointing, because my toddler was napping in the backseat and I hoped to park and let her get some more sleep before we went in. That wasn't possible. But I'm sure a lot of people try to skip out on the check, so I guess I understand. Just be aware that it's mandatory on the weekend. When we got inside, we discovered the kid's menu featured mac and cheese. Seemed like a good choice for $7.99. I didn't realize we were literally getting Kraft blue box mac and cheese in a bowl. I understand that inflation drives up prices, but $8 seems pretty unreasonable for what that was. We got the smoked salmon dip, which was reminiscent of cat food. I had jambalaya which was pretty yummy, and my friend said her burger was cooked perfectly. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. Overall I don't think the experience was worth repeating. Especially for the price and lack of flexibility when it comes to parking and menu substitutions. EDIT: So my friend and I spent the day together with our kids after eating here today. I can safely say that we both had a *rough* day of stomach upset, and this meal was the only thing we ate. I had to take off another star because we spent over $100 on a meal that made us both sick.

Everyone who lives in South Florida should check this place out. The restaurant has a lot of history plus it has an amazing view. It always packed but it’s definitely worth the wait. Food, cocktails and service are top-notch and yet prices are reasonable. They play live music with great performers. A must-go place for sure!

The restaurant is a really nice place, great ambience, great music, awesome view and a small area for kids...but the service was mediocre at best, the in house menu is $3+/- more expensive than the menu online and different and the portions were small for the price point. Guess you pay for where you eat, quality doesn't matter. Might go back, might not. 2 TACOS FOR $18!!??!! C'MON MAN😔😑 And the fish sandwich didn't come with anything!! No sauce, no topping!

The food? Incredible. The atmosphere? Perfect. The drinks? Delicious. Will definitely be going again. And yes, the pie was so good we couldn't wait to take a few bites.

Nice view. Had fun feeding the catfish off the dock. Though old key lime house does have an allergy menu the options are very limited if you have a dairy allergy. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich but there were no dairy free buns, probably would have been better to just turn it into a salad. 🤷🏻‍♀️ food was fine but nothing spectacular.

1st time here. Was not Disappointed. From the Welcoming at the Hostess Station to our server Mimi, we had a excellent experience. The food was excellent, from the Key Lime Tacos, to the Fish and Chips, everything tasted so good. Will be back to spend some time at their 5 bars during the daytime soon.

5Stars to Gerard who has the best energy and personality- gave us great service and had the best lunch recommendations!! On the water, great food, incredible drinks! Wind, sun, music make an awesome Sunday fun day! Oldest waterfront restaurant in Florida. Great people, great staff make a perfect day! Plenty of parking and free valet service. Had the blackened Mahi-mahi tacos, Awesome 👏 Don’t forget the key lime pie!!!! #oldkeylimehouse 😎

This place was amazing. The grilled avocado appetizer was incredible! The shrimp and grits, crab cakes were both amazing. Jenny was our server and she was phenomenal. The look and feel of the place makes it that much better. Highly recommend!

Albert was our server and he was amazing. Personable with a lot of personality and quick service. Food was fresh. Fries we’re good, grouper a must. Key lime pie was not too tart, not too sweet - overall, so good.

Nice place. Really good food and atmosphere. Not sure what mgmt was thinking using plastic cups. This place is too nice and good for that nonsense. It's not a frat bar. It's a nice place that should serve nice glassware. Table service did have proper glassware.

Confusing menu. Lacking some basics. Appetizers are decent enough but the entrees were not very well prepared. Key lime pie gets 3 out of 5 on the key lime pie scale. Don't get me wrong it's really really good, but just didn't hit that tartness and that's a central qualification for me. Again, still really really Delicious and clearly homemade. Really cool atmosphere. A maze of docks and seating and even a cool boat bar. Lots of catfish swimming up alongside the dining area. Would be a fun place for a few drinks.

Visited Tuesday 26 Sept 2023, Evening. Warm welcome. Seated right away. Server was cheery and pleasant and answered all questions regarding the menu and portions etc. Ordered food and drinks crab and shrimp spinach dip, fresh grouper sandwich and homemade key lime pie. All food apart from the dessert was served hot and fresh. Home made keylime pie is with fresh whipped sweet cream and was delicious. If it was topped with a meringue IMHO it would have been 🤤 Cocktails were 🤤👌 Views would be nice but we came at night so was dark out over the water. No reservations taken. And parking is via Valet.

One of my favorite south Florida spots. The food is nothing to write home about, but it does the job. Great drinks though! One of the best piña coladas, and you have to get the float. Nice views as well, and live music often.

Never been before! How did this happen, have lived in south Florida for over 70 years?!?! Was concerned about the heat, but we’re seated near the water fans blowing, beautiful breeze coming straight out of the south east! Loved the view and the whole vibe. I had crispy fried shrimp with some of the best French fries! Companion opted for the salmon with goat cheese and onion rings! All was sooooooooo good, drinks on point. Followed up with the key lime pie! Food and drinks are on point! The only complaint was waitress started off great, but then went downhill from there. Seemed to disappear. They were not that busy. We will for sure return, and soon. Hope she was just a little off.

The food is great and the view across the water even better. We had vegan burgers and fries. It was great! The service was excellent. Looking across the water at all the boats was enjoyable. They said they have the “BEST” key lime pie and I was skeptical! After enjoying a piece I had to agree! It’s the best I’ve had anywhere around

Amazing food, atmosphere, and customer service! This is one of the best waterfront restaurants/bars that we have visited and with a lot of historic value, and it is truly AMAZING! Thank you, EXPENDABLES TATTOOS INKORPORATED / EXPENDABLES UNLIMITED

I had the Key Lime Tacos blackened chicken. Wow, is the first word I thought after the first bite. Perfect flavor and combination with my mojito. Hubs had their special Chicken Ranch Bacon tacos. He said they were delicious 😋

Overall the food and service was very good. The Mahi was fresh tasting and fries crispy. The only part of dinner I didn't like was the Smoked Mahi and Wahoo Fish Dip appetizer, and only because it was very salty for my pallet (another in my group liked the dip).

Old Key Lime House is a great place to eat while visiting the area. It's classic "Old Florida" in the sense it is in an historical building right on the inter-coastal waterway. The view is certainly worth the trip. The food is regular food for regular people out to enjoy some time in the Florida air enjoying their time together.

I would have given it 5 stars but the hostesses were kinda rude. We sat we they said go to sit ( we unfortunately were just there for key lime pie) and the manager came over and apologized and got us a great server Albert and we got amazing pie! There was an amazing lightening storm and this place is great for outdoor dining. Great vibe once you get past the unfriendly hostess station

We went on a Wednesday at 4:30pm. There was plenty of free parking and we were seated and survived right away. The place has that grimy old worn out look and feel you'd expect. This is not supposed to be a clean, fine dining 5 star snooty restaurant.

The atmosphere and food were great!! Our server Heather was great, and as well as the manager went by making sure the busy restaurant was running smoothly and that we and others were satisfied. Not to mention, the live band was outstanding. I Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great atmosphere. The french fries were a little fishy, but otherwise good. The view and atmosphere were killer. The key lime pie was a 9 out of 10, in other words great.

Service started off slow but picked up great. Everyone's food was delish. My lobster roll definitely missed the mark. All in all great atmosphere and a great place to take friends or family.
