Shlomo is so talented! I came into his shop feeling very discouraged after visiting custom jewelers to have a piece made using my father's wedding band. He was so welcoming and patient, and he never once said, "No, I can't do that." He brought my vision to life with a watch that I will wear everyday. It is my new most prized possession. Shlomo is a perfectionist, so expect quality work and expert advice when you visit. He does not just care about his work, he really cares about his customers. I was at his shop a couple of times, and each time he had many customers come in with unique needs for help. He confidently helped each one with a smile on his face. I will definitely come back, and I would send anyone I know here.

I can't say enough about Shlomo. I brought in my late fathers watch. The clasp was broke, the glass scratched up, and the watch looked well used. My dad drove truck for many years and the watch took a beating. I was getting discouraged after calling around and getting turned away. He took my fathers watch and handled it with loved and care. Shlomo made me feel like I handed him a priceless Rolex. It looks amazing!

Man, I'm happy I came across Shlomo's shop. Brought him 4 watches this morning, though only one needed some work done, I wanted to pressure test them all to check the gaskets. Shlomo greeted me and immediately started working on my watch. He was very friendly and he was explaining/showing me exactly what he was doing to fix the issue. I hung around for about 30 mins or so as he worked. His shop is clean, organized and he's even got drinks in the fridge for you while you wait. Highly recommend bringing your watch here for high quality service.

I discovered the watchmaker earlier this year, and I can honestly say I am nothing short of pleased with the service I have received!!! MR. Schlomo is professional, courteous, friendly, personable and even comes with a pleasant sense of humor 😂. His prices are more than fair and his turnaround time is better than my experiences with competitor shops. He has repaired some of my watches that I thought were out of commission for good. Incredible experience. I had a metal bracelet I was fitting to my watch and unfortunately it would not work out. Without skipping a beat he had 4 recommendations for straps that I could select instead, had it fitted and good to go in less than 10 minutes. I assumed I’d be in there for a while and pay a lot. It was quick and very reasonably priced. Plus, the one he showed me and that I ended up selecting looks even better than the one I brought in to fit! He is an exceptionally humble man with years of experience. He was a delight to talk to and I will be back with all my watch needs.

The absolute go-to place for your Rolex needs. Shlomo is incredibly skilled, professional and kind. He had on hand my two tone link I needed, something that most watchmakers would have to order. And all of this in Grand Rapids! I will be sending in my datejust for service soon. Couldn’t be happier as a customer and 5 stars!

One of my Swiss auto watches randomly stopped last week… Happened to be 5 days out of warranty and the manufacturer wanted me to ship it to Germany (including return label), pay $200 for service, and wait 4-6 weeks to get it back... I decided to find someone local if I could. I tried a couple well known jewelers in town and they wouldn’t touch it. Through word of mouth I heard about The Watchmaker! So pleased to have him close by. Ended up being a loose screw that caused the movement to stop. He fixed it and buffed the scratches out of my band in less than 10 minutes of me arriving. I finally found a "watchmaker" to service and restore my watches. He delivered a top notch experience and atmosphere while I waited less than 10 minutes for my repairs. I went in for battery service for multiple watches and also received a complimentary polish, beverage and refreshment. The comfortable lounge made the wait feel like moments vs minutes. I highly recommend the watchmaker as someone you can trust to deliver quality repair services.

I came to Shlomo two projects, a simple band swap on my Autodromo, which took him two minutes right in front of me, and full refurb of my 1966 Omega Seamaster which was a two day project for him. The results on the Omega are incredible, I could not be happier with the way it turned out and Shlomo's communication throughout the process was fantastic. He's a 3rd generation Italian watchmaker who charges a very reasonable fee for exceptional work. On top of that, he's an awesome person to chat with!

The best, the second hand on my Seiko was loose, the watchmaker repaired it in 3 minutes, excellent service.
