Nov-3-2021 ★ ★ Very limited choice of mediocre quality meats. Some of the “gauchos” (the guys who served the meat) were really skimpy. Especially the guy, who served picanha. The first time he sliced it so thin and small it looked like beef shavings. So I had to bribe him and gave $5 cash (as a tip in advance) Not cool at all. The Filet Mignon was kinda hard to chew. I guess either too old or not a filet. Have never seen so small pieces of filet served at any restaurant. They were generous on lamb rib chops, but it tasted a bit strange. Not bad, but I guess it was marinated in vinegar, a lot of vinegar… I also had to give another $5 cash to another gaucho to keep them coming. The salad bar was not bad. Everything was fresh, but nothing extraordinary. Tabuleh was way too salty (pure salt), could not swallow. The fried bananas, mashed potato and French fries, they bring to you as sides, were inedible. The mashed potato tasted like instant one and came from a box. Fried bananas either undercooked or were still green. French fries …? Looked and tasted like in a fast food restaurant… *** Bottom line $80 *** The bill was $59 ($52,99 + tax). I still have tipped them and paid $70 with the card +$10 cash I gave to gaucho guys in advance to keep them coming to my table. Keep in mind, no drinks were ordered. Too pricey for mediocre quality “all you can eat buffet”. I regret coming here.

What a great experience. Sorry for the messy plate but, when you eat Brazilian, it’s that way. First, I recommend making a reservation! Wait times are long if you don’t. The atmosphere is wonderful and the decor is pleasant. The salad buffet is fresh. The lettuce is crisp and the cheeses are just right. The soup of the day, is wonderful. Today was Lobster Bisque. Next, comes the meat. What a great selection! You can view these online. Your waiter or waitress should ask how you like your steak cooked, this guarantees that the prepared meat always comes by your way. You use the colored circle (red for “no thank you” green “yes please.”) The flank steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken fell off the bone. The leg of lamb, amazing! To finish off the meal, we’ll, it was my wife’s birthday! There Desert selection, great choices. We went with Key Lime. Lastly, the staff is very kind and humorous. They are also helpful and will explain the meats to you. It is a high price tag ($51.99 per person) but, you eat all that you can stomach, so come hungry. Enjoy!

We went here on December 30th 2021 for dinner and was surprised by the items on salad market bar. This bar needs more options, like they have a bowl of onions. The shrimp tasted weird, the hearts of artichokes weren't good neither. The only thing decent was the cucumbers and smoked salmon. The soup area only had 1real soup. Because I don't count sautéed mushrooms a soup, etc. The meat selection is okay, but there are alot of meats wrapped in bacon so be aware. Also, the price you pay per person is NOT acceptable to the quality of meats passed around. The worst was the lamb, it tasted old and clearly not good. The other cuts were a bit more raw than we would prefer. Which is fine because once you realize this, you can get it cooked some more but be prepared to wait for it. The downtown Chicago location was phenomenal but due to covid they closed and we came to this location for the first and last time. I gave it 3 stars which means it's okay, because the carrot cake was delicious!

We don't come here often, but when we do, we always savor the experience. It is a bit pricey, but I think it's worth every penny. Salad was good. Lobster bisque soup is delicious. I love lamb chops and sirloin steaks. All the meat I've tried were amazingly scrumptious. Tender, succulent, flavorful, and just perfect to my palate. Service was great, too. I truly enjoyed coming to this place.

Insanely good meat. Ate til it hurt! No joke! Some of the best chicken and beef short rib of my life. Great deal if you get the VIP card. 50 bucks down and you get like 12 meals half priced within the year. Went with a group and used 5 meals. Saved tons of money!

Brazilian style steakhouse. In the price you get included, the full Buffet of salads, soups, and sides. The meat is brought around to the table. Five or six different styles of steak, pork, lamb, chops, and chicken. The food is very good. But I must say this place is a little bit over priced.

We typically go to their competitor in Rosemont on a regular basis but we haven't even in a long time so decided to come celebrate a 6 yo birthday here on a weekday. It was nice to see business booming on a weeknight. The salad bar was inviting as always, but I wish they had pickled peppers. I was surprised to see that they no longer offer simple maki rolls but I can see this loss due to the pandemic & inflation in current economic state. We came to Texas de Brazil for the lobster bisque. I have not had this in a long time, but oh my, it was so buttery and so good. The meat generally is very salty. I love meat and don't need to accompany meats with any sides but since the meat was too salty, I needed to eat sides such as mashed potatoes or others that I got from the salad bar. One of my faves at a Brazilian churrasco is the cheesy bread. However, I thought it was too dry from here, even a fresh batch was too dry.

Ambiance was nice. Option were so small. The mushroom soup was so soo salty. A waist of my money. I'm sticking to Fogo De Chão all day long. Food was not even worth taking pictures of.

This place is incredible. However, more so because the service was outstanding. When we asked for a nicer table, we were immediately accommodated and the staff swiftly found us a more private seat. We were really grateful to our servers Tony and Jeff (Chino) for going above and beyond to make sure we sampled all the meats. If you haven't eaten at Texas de Brazil, I would highly suggest it. #GreatjobTony

This place was Amazing It was my first time going, and I would definitely go again. I can’t say enough about it.. Besides you should go on an on empty stomach. The servers were so attentive and seem to always know what I wanted before I even knew. I would think.. Hhmmm I need a knifeot or fork.. Our server would show up. No kidding when the card is flipped to green the meat keeps coming.. Yes, it does and it's delious piece of meat. We had flan and turtle cheesecake which were not the best. Despite dessert not being included they are expensive at $17.00 a each, you're paying more for the experience.. I would say skip the dessert!the salad bar was large and had a good variety of options.. I would think of this restaurant as more of a celebration, anniversaries, birthday occasion. It's definitely an upscale buffet and you will leave ready to pop!

First time at a Brazilian steakhouse. The service was good. they walk around and serve you any kind of meat you'd like from their selection. All you can eat. They also have a salad bar with a variety of choices. The cheesy bread is absolutely addicting and delicious! It's pricey so make sure you show up hungry!

If you’re familiar with Brazilian steakhouse then you will have an idea of what to expect. Texas de Brazil is slightly upscale when it comes to the ambiance and food. Service is excellent. Their salad bar is nice but like many things - it’s not the same as it was pre-covid. Still, it’s high quality and has a decent variety. The meat is delicious. The servers will load your table up with bread, plantains, and mashed potatoes. I think the idea is you consume filler food and then don’t eat as much meat. TIP: if you don’t know the cut just get a small portion. I ended up with a very rare slice of beef. I asked for medium. It seems the servers were maybe not bringing more meat because I kept the bloody piece on my plate. I ended up hiding/ burying the meat under the mashed potatoes. The servers returned. Overall I recommend this place if you want a nice time out and feel like eating.

Value for money is excellent. Come with an empty stomach, leave feeling like you could explode. The lamb was incredible. The salad bar is unmatched.

They offer an experience, not just food. The rodizio is very traditional and the meat was cooked just right! The salad bar is very appetizing with a wide variety of choices. I had a Bahia Breeze cocktail and it was delicious! The servers are all very nice with positive attitude. This place is amazing and I definitely recommend it!

The salad bar had a lot of fantastic items on it but the real stars were the amazing proteins. Every one was delicious. I would definitely come back.

Great food and reasonable prices if you go Monday through Friday. Salad bar is very fulfilling along with the soup. But if you're a meat lover that's the best with a variety of meats.

Gets pretty crowded at times but service is always good. Waiter asks if we need certain meats to come around, makes sure drinks are topped off, food is delicious and plentiful for sure. Great selection of salad bar items. Love the beef rib, filet mignon and picanha. Went for my birthday.
