Cute little place, next to the river. Great staff. We had the Smoked Corned Beef and The Mac Steak sandwich. Both were delicious! Love hearing live music too!

Pulled pork sandwich and brisket sandwich both were very delicious 😋 and 2 Blue moon beers they looked like mixed drinks cause they used tinted glasses 😀 we sat outside with a gorgeous view of the river across the street and live music man playing guitar we took a couple of bites of food then it started as a soft rain 🌧 then it came down a little harder BUMMER we had to run inside and finish our food and beer 😆 oh well better luck next time. Great place to get something to eat and drink. We were riding our bikes on the Fox River trail and stopped here for lunch. Wonderful drink menu, great pub food and top notch service. As a bonus, the outdoor dining area has a great view of the river.

I really enjoyed my food at Rosie O'Hares in East Dundee. I was kindly seated at my table. The waitress catered to my needs. Their menu has very good variety. The waiting time for the food was reasonable. I felt very welcomed and the guests are friendly. It has a warm atmosphere. I look forward to coming back and I recommend this bar to other people who have never eaten here before.

Very cozy atmosphere. Great place to meet for drinks and a quick lunch. Lots of burgers, but no vegetarian ones. Parking isn't easy; on a Saturday afternoon the lot was full even though there were less than 8 people inside. We did find street parking. Staff was pleasant. Prices reasonable.

East Dundee resident here!! Best ruben around, the broasted chicken is to die for, really anything you order is a win! The service is impeccable, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Our go to stop with the dogs :)

It was rescue puppy day so super busy. Waitresses did all they could but service slow. Drinks and food great as usual. Just won't come on this day again.

Went as a group, service was pretty good given it was very crowded, the bands were good some, and some so so. The food was hot when delivered and good. I probably won't go back unless there is open patio seating. Reason, the music was way too loud for everyone in my party. Every band had United Center size speakers and Rosie's is very small for that.

It's an old speak easy. If you ask about it, they have pictures and a tour. It's very cool. Beer selection is decent. Food is good. Overall it's a good place

Rosie O’Hare’s Public House is the real deal. Neighborhood pub soaked in colorful history with cold drinks, good food and friendly service. The view of the river is beautiful and the interior is everything you would expect in a bar that’s been around for over 100 years. Tom is an excellent bartender and will tell you all about the background of this place. Ask to see the upstairs - amazing! We will be back. Best Rueben we’ve ever had! Their homemade apple pie liqueur is a must-try!

A go to for my generation.. Just a basic place Nothing fancy no good drinks. There’s always different bartenders. Proud suck it’s either too busy or not enough people

Beautiful building with beautiful views in an extremely comfortable setting. The staff is super friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking too. The bar is well stocked and the food is really incredibly delicious. Large portions of comfort food and very reasonably priced.

I only accidentally stumbled upon this place. Went to lunch and 3 other restaurants were closed because of staffing shortages. This is off the beaten path just a little, but I'm here to tell you will worth it. Super friendly staff. They had beef and cheddar sandwich special and was extremely tasty. Atmosphere was very comfortable. 5 stars isn't enough. So glad I found it. Will definitely be here often

Best broasted chicken around.

Stopped by during heritage fest. I flagged a server waiting on a dozen patrons close by. I asked her if we could get us some cocktails. She said she was busy and understaffed. She said go inside and order at the bar, because they dont have anything to do, and proceeded to wait on an another nearby table. Along came another server and asked what we wanted. I told her I'm going inside per what I was previously told. She said no, the bartenders are overehelmed! What a jerk circle!

Great (and friendly!) service. The location is awesome, and their dog-friendly patio has solidified this restaurant as our new favorite spot. I’ve ordered several different entrees and and sides and they’ve all been great. We love Rosie’s!

Food was good But chose to eat inside Bar was full So loud we could not talk Sat at rear table Later seated next to us two men Obnoxiously loud so much so they apologized by reaching arm out and touching us No 6 feet between tables here Way too close for our comfort especially since most all people were loud and all sitting next to each other That was not 25% rule

Nice place great staff. Great place to go to have a drink. I ordered Italian Wedding cup of soup it was very good. Have to go back and try more food. Tonight we had a blast played music Bingo. And I won!

I hosted my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here on November 3, 2022. There is a room for private parties on the 2nd floor that is very cozy. We had about 50 people. Jamie was so helpful with choosing which package to get. I was confused about how the bar portion worked and she was very patient and thorough in her explanation of how the pricing worked. The food was set up buffet style and there was more than enough for our hungry crowd! The bar tender was phenomenal. I forgot to get her name, but we had a crowd of drinkers and she memorized what everyone was having. I would not hesitate to have another event at Rosie’s! Thanks to the entire staff for a smooth, memorable evening.

Not sure how I feel about the food. The G-dog was very tasty but I had to do geometry to fit it in my mouth. Not a fan of the chips, needs more crisp. However the decor was exactly my vibe and service was top tier. I could feel the cozy welcome regulars get here as soon as I walked into the door. Would waste time here before a wedding again.

I was there on Father's day. The food was mediocre. The Service was attentive enough, and we had a table outside. It was a nice day,the weather improved the atmosphere.

I was @ Rosie’s on 5/6 and the place was packed. There was one server, Carly, who was busting her butt working outside. Turns out, Rosie’s had a bartender who passed away today & Carly still managed to deliver fantastic customer service while mourning. The entire Rosie’s staff that worked while mourning deserves all the praise! Thank you Carly, Tom and Lance! Thanks John in the kitchen still getting food out too. You all are incredible.

Eat the smoked corned beef sandwich. Killer. I'm sure the rest of the menu is great, but can't get past this true hit. Maybe someday in the future I'll get around to the rest of what they have on the menu

It's just ok here. Mostly uber locals decent service, good prices. I think the smoked brisket sandwich is the best bet here. Fries were a combo of steak fries and skinny fries kinda weird.

Best bar around. We have had nothing but amazing experiences here. All the staff is fantastic. Ben, Bella, Tom, Lance and Carly are all such sweet attentive bartenders and servers. The owners Gary and Jaimie are so sweet and care so much about their customers. We had a party for my brother here back in May and it was such a great time! The food was incredible (as always), the upstairs was beautiful and perfect for our party! Tom bartended the party and he did awesome. Our family and friends all adored him. Overall this is the best bar around. Best prices and best food! Such a great atmosphere here!

Attempting to find good corn beef isn't an easy task, but we lucked out at Rosie O'Hare's. The placed was packed on Saturday night, the crowd was definitely having fun but not rowdy. We opted to carry out since there wasn't a seat to be had. The dinner traveled well and was worth it. The corn beef was lean, tender, and great taste. I would definitely recommend it before its gone for the season.

Owners are very nice. Bar tender was very attentive and polite I loved that. When I pulled up and saw the fresh wood and the smoker going in the parking lot, I knew this was gonna be a good food spot. I don’t eat beef or pork but it smelled good in that place. I had the cod fish and chips, definitely a must try. Fish was fried good without asking, batter wasn’t cakey, it was crispy and just right. I would definitely come back just for their service alone.

Very good burger and fries in an attractive pub atmosphere right along the Fox River. A lot of regulars seem to be there. Service was good. Restroom was clean. Off street parking is available.

We stopped in when we were out for a drive Thanksgiving weekend. Jamie was so sweet, and brought out our lunch so we could eat in our car while enjoying a view of the river. Just what we needed, and the food was great!

Nice place with a decent food menu. Outdoor patio area is really awesome. I want to go back and try a few other items off the menu. This go around I ordered the enormous McNamee burger and it’s too much food for one sitting but I knew that coming into it. Server was really attentive and polite and the cheese curds were fantastic!

Fantastic Ribs for cheap! Rest of the menu was reasonably priced. Nice patio near the fox river. Very cool looking building.

Was looking for a good fish fry on a Friday night and saw Rosie O'Hares mentioned online. Noticed we were going to be on the late end(within 20 minutes of kitchen closing) and called ahead to make sure we would be able to order. Spoke to a very kind man who excitedly said "Yeah of course!" When we arrived he was able to identify us by our call and graciously took our order. Spoke with us excitedly about their whiskey selection and desire to improve it, we had a great time. Spectacular service, wonderful food and awesome atmosphere. Will definitely return!

Good Food! Nice place!

Found my new favorite meal, Schnitzel with a fantastic sauce, mashed potatoes and corn! My pic turned out great, but the taste is even better than it looks. The sliced turkey dinner was my favorite, but this lunch has taken the top spot for me. Soups are also terrific, and homemade. Service is friendly, at times it can be busy, prices are fair, and there is a nice patio overlooking the river (during warmer weather) and enjoy some drinks on. I will be back soon!

We made our 4th try at this pub everytime we got there they were out of Bbq anything. Yesterday we called ahead like we have before to make sure they had Ribs and brisket they said they had plenty, like they have said before,but to our surprise they had some and it was awsome.Unfortunately they are not enforcing the rules of wearing a mask when entering and leaving. There signs everwhere,there is a sign on the door to go inside if you wish and people were going in and out without a mask.Two family's walked past our table to get a table to sit at with no masks at all. It seems safety is not something they care about so we will never return or recomen anyone to eat there.
