    This restaurant has a very special place in our hearts. I’ve been dining at this place since August of 2019 and it never disappoints. Their All-You-Can-Eat is the best! It’s tons of high quality sushi for such great value ($21.99 per person)! The staff are always welcoming and kind. We’re so glad to hear this pandemic hasn’t affected their business and we hope it to see continue to grow!

    Every time I order food to go at this place they always mess it up and forget items. One item is understandable sometimes but they forgot three items. Come on now. This is so annoying when I pay for food and it’s not right.

    I've been here many times, food is always good with exceptional service. But, yesterday, I ordered online for a group of 15 people about an hour before the pick up time. When I got there to pick up the order, they had no food ready whatsoever. Apparently, they didn't check the online order or forgot to do it. I had to wait an extra 12-15 min for them to quickly put my order together, and be late to an important meeting because of them. They didn't even offer me a discount or anything as an apology for the inconvenience they had caused. Very unprofessional, never ordering online with them again.

    Yesterday was my first time trying potbelly, I was very excited until my boyfriend got home and I saw my "sandwhich" I ordered the Avo Turkey and asked to ADD pickle. Ended up missing half my sandwich and there was barley any meat on it at all. This isn't just confusion, this is ridiculous, especially with prices of everything. My sandwich was mostly bread with a bit of avocado and a very sad pickle. They made my boyfriends sandwich just fine so what happened in a 5 minute span?

    Great food great service, terribly cold. Please work on this. 3 other customers complained about how cold it was while I was sitting there, one customer repacked her lunch and left. It was so cold I was shaking the whole time I was eating my lunch, it was uncomfortable. I don’t know what the issue is of it’s a budget thing but work on it.

    I have always been a huge fan of Potbelly, so this review may be a tad biased. They’re my favorite sandwich shop. The quality of the bread, meat, and cheese is miles above the competition. Plus, you can have the sub toasted, which is how it’s intended to be. I typically order “The Wreck” or “The Italian”. I like to pair a sandwich with soup, so I usually do the Skinny Sandwich and Soup Combo. Pair it with a drink and chips and it’s a filling lunch. I absolutely love their Brocolli Cheddar Soup. However, lately the soup has been VERY thick. I’m not sure if it’s a prep issue or if the product/recipe changed. I hope they correct this! I also have a major sweet tooth. They never disappoint. My favorite is the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie or the brownie cookie. Both are HUGE and super soft and moist. If you’re a fan of fresh made, toasty subs - be sure to check them out! Pro Tip: Add Hot Peppers to your sandwich. They make THE BEST hot giardinera. It’s a must have on any sandwich!

    Usually, Algonquin Potbelly is on point. This time, I ordered delivery. My turkey sandwich had no turkey on it. The chicken sandwich had raw mushrooms when they’re usually cooked. I didn’t even receive the shake I ordered. I got the straw and cookie in a bag, but no shake. When I called the location to check for the shake, they would not answer. I’m very disappointed by quality and customer service of this location.

    My husband & went to Potbelly for lunch this past Sunday, & while the food was good the service was so slow & the tables weren't clean. Just a few weeks ago it was just the opposite, so no clue as to what changed other than new management.

    Very disappointed tonight! We ordered our food at 7:30pm for a pickup at 8:15pm so we gave them 45min. Both our sandwiches had half the meat we usually get so I tore off half the bread to make it more proportioned. My husband did the same but dipped his extra bread in ranch because he was still hungry. Also, they charged an extra 20 cents for "extra pickles". I have never been charged extra for asking for more pickles. I wouldn't be upset about the fee but I literally got 1 pickle slice. I gave 3 stars because I've eaten at this location many times before and usually pretty good. Maybe they are hurting from the pandemic and trying to cut corners 🤔 It was very disappointing and will probably take a break for a while and go to their competitors.

    Poor service. Ordered through the app and said order would be ready at 3:20. Its 3:40 and i am still here waiting. Very slow and poor customer service. Never have this issue at the Crystal Lake location. Always on time there.

    This location totally impressed me today. I was a little reluctant about dining out with our current corona crisis, however, this place goes beyond putting the customers apprehension about dining out. As you enter the line to place an order there is hand sanitizer spray device that allows to clean your hands. The workers were constantly wiping down the prep area after each order. The manager told one of the workers to check the rest rooms to ensure all hand soap was filled properly and further told the worker what to do specifically to clean the rest room. Gave them gloves and reminded them to clean afterwards and wash their hands. Also told the worker to check the hand sanitizer stations and make sure they are filled properly. The hand sanitizer station was close enough to the exit so that you were reminded to sanitize before you left. I went there at 1:30 this after noon. I was impressed and will surely dine there again this week without any hesitation. Excellent job algonquin Illinois employees. You should be recognized for all your good work. And the food was fresh and delicious!

    Hair in my food, short black look like facial hair possibly. Food itself tasted fine but portions where on the small side 57 dollars for two and I am starving after pitching half my food. Sad since it was my first time and reviews look great. This was a carry out order.

    First, when I came in to place my order, I had to ask if I could place my order because the person at the entrance was not asking me anything (lik, “can I help you” or something like that). Then, when I went back to pick my order up, I was completely ignored. There was no one at the entrance so I was waiting for someone to get there. I had been waiting for about four minutes and no one approached me. A pair of white ladies came in and someone immediately went to them, bypassing me. They took them to their table. Right after, an older white couple came in, again they were approached immediately and me ignored. I had to call out the kid in order to get help with my order. I’m never coming back. My money is as good as anyone else’s. They’re never getting my business ever again.

    We did a carry out lunch special. The rolls were delicious. Very flavorful egg drop soup. Hot and sour soup was just enough hot so I could still appreciate the flavor. Wasn't crazy about the eggroll.

    Last night was our first time eating at woow sushi and I will say we had quite a beautiful experience. Immidiately upon arriving the atmosphere was friendly and caliming/zen and our waitress was very nice and very attentive. We had read on the reviews that service could be slow, even on days that arent busy, but we were very satisfied with the service and did not think it was slow at all. Once we got our food it was soooooo good and the drinks were great too! I thought that the entrees, sushi, drinks, AND service was all better than the two sushi places we go to regularly. Overall it was a really lovely experience and we will be back!!! This is our new favorite sushi place!

    Horrible quality sushi!! The spicy tuna was horrid and the spicy salmon was awful, tasted like it's been left out all day, and a Boston roll that did not taste anything near what a Boston roll supposed to taste like plus it had regular mayo on it not the cream cheese it was supposed to have! Don't waste your money at this place because it doesn't seem like they know what they're doing! Beware they charge for every single little thing including just a simple side of spicy mayo.

    Woow sushi really was delicious! We stopped in for lunch and did the all you can eat and it was so worth it! My husband and I very much enjoyed the quiet lunch date we were able to have as well as enjoy the volcano roll and a few others that really blew it out of the water. We will be back! I hope they remain open through all the craziness of the world right now. 👍

    This place has great food, very nice staff, and great deals. Both the Chinese and Japanese items are delicious. Their all you can eat sushi deal is amazing, great price and is avaliable most of the week for dinner and lunch. Friday and Saturday it is only for lunch.

    I have visited this restaurant several times and only once had a bad experience. Everyone has an off night now and again, but I unfortunately will never order delivery again. During COVID I want to support my community small business restaurant owners, however after ordering two hundred dollars in Sushi for my family, I was harassed by the delivery driver via text message for not including a 20% tip. Not only was she disrespectful, but VERY unprofessional.

    I'll give a solid 4 stars. Service was very kind, but a bit slow. It wasnt busy, we went between lunch and dinner. All the sushi was fresh, but some rolls were lacking any good flavor. I'd recommend the rocky mountain roll. Great flavor and crunch. The kids menu is a bit pricey. 12 bucks for pretty much any meal. Maybe to deter kids from eating there. We'll be back.

    The hoops to try to jump through to get a sandwich from this location is just not worth it. Ordered from there app for this location got a time and arrived two minutes past the ready time. Went in the food wasn't ready in the pick-up location. Asked about the order for Brad and was handed a bag and left got to the car and it was for Brent not Brad. Went back in handed the food back and was told they are working on the tickets and would be done as soon as they get to it. After 11 minutes was given bag for Brad and outside ticket had the correct order and thought all was good. We leave and during our drive back home, my wife pulls out her sandwich and the wrong sandwiches were inside the bag. We went back to the store told that the person whose sandwiches were inside our bag already picked up there bag, so they would have to remake our sandwiches. About another 7 minutes later the correct sandwiches were in the bag after the third attempt! The sandwiches were good once we got them, but not worth multiple failed attempts to get our order correct. We even filled out their internal survey about our visit they emailed me and didn't get a response even though I asked for one. Food is good, but the lack of customer service will not have me going back.

    I just placed an order through uber eats and it did not offer me to add extras. I tried calling this location 10 times right after I placed my order, and no one seems to be there or answer to update my order. This has been one of the worst experiences I've had at a potbellys. I love the sandwiches, but the customer service is not there. Called 10 times and no answer? Very disappointed as I am not going to enjoy my meal once it arrives. Please do better for your loyal customers.

    Rude employee made my order wrong even though we went through it several of times, gave us a rude look. The girl that took my order very unprofessional after I waited for more than 7min she finally says you need anything. Really you think I'm standing in line for no reason totally childish.     Been to this location a few times now and I always see great service, can't say i've ever been unhappy with an order. Got 3x sandwich, 3x soups, 2x shakes this time. Global lettuce shortage was in effect, but it's not like they try to hide it and not really their fault, signs up all over about it. Their shakes and soups are crazy good compared to competition. My daughter ordered the meatball sub, but meatballs had just run out, needed to wait for a new batch to be ready, manager is always really nice, friendly, adjusted for the additional wait time, and talked with me until it was ready. He was also taking care of a special order for another customer with food allergies as well. Manager really makes that extra effort to make sure things are right. Good service, respectful and friendly people.

    Placed an online order for delivery. A few minutes before our order was scheduled to arrive we received an email saying the delivery was cancelled and to call the restaurant. We tried to call for 20 minutes or so before I decided to drive to the restaurant. When I get to the restaurant I am told they had not started making our order and they would "get to it when they had time". I was not the only online order they had ignored another customer was told the same thing. All I can say is if you don't want online orders then don't take them. And don't give attitude to your customers when they have to drive up to the restaurant to find out what is going on with their online order because you can't manage your time or answer a phone.

They got the whole order correct, there were several alterations due to allergies, gave us literally everything we’d need from plates to silverware, and they were right on time!     I really do enjoy Potbelly’s sandwiches. Went to get one today. Every so often I think oh some soup would be good today. Today is a chilly day so with my sandwich I ordered a cup of broccoli cheddar. The sandwich maker yelled out, “cup of broc!” I got to the register the guy there rang up my order, no soup. I realize things happen. I’m not perfect. But in all the the times I’ve ordered soup when I go to this Potbelly’s, I’ve never once gotten my soup. I’m really curious to find out one day what it tastes like. But, for some reason they don’t want to sell me soup. Love the sandwich though.

    Went in there and the young dude working was super helpful but the lady with the glasses was rude and stingy as heck. Theres another potbellys up the road. Do yourself a favor

    I went this past Friday, 11/3. It was buy one get one free sandwich day. The store was SO busy! There were 5 total employees that I personally saw. Every one of them were working hard, as quickly as they could with a 30+ minute back up and they were all pleasant, professional and courteous. I myself had a large order and I waited for the rush to settle before ordering. I cannot rave enough about their amazing patience, skills and personalities!! I will absolutely be returning and the employees on staff that day deserve something as a bonus for their efforts that day!! To the Potbelly Algonquin restaurant - Well done, all of you!

    Marissa is incredible. For our office luncheon, I was instructed to use leftover gift cards -- 12 of them, to be precise. I knew this was going to be a pain in the butt for the store, so I called and spoke with Marissa. She assured me that she would handle the situation personally. Our order was scheduled to be delivered at 11:30 and it was on time and delicious. Marissa said that she would not be in the store until 3pm, at which time she would handle the payment methods. I got a call from her at 6:48pm letting me know that she was having difficulties, but that she would figure it out. 30 minutes later, she called back to let me know that the situation was resolved. Marissa went out of her way to make sure that our experience was exactly what we needed it to be. She never made me feel bad about using all the Visa gift cards and she deserves a raise. Just my opinion as a repeat customer. THANK YOU, Marissa for going above and beyond for us!

    My Girlfriend and I drive out of our way an extra 25 minutes to come to this location! The employees are very pleasant and make ordering a breeze, the sandwiches have more care put into them and they use the amount of ingredients you expect to receive for the price!! The lobby and kitchen is always very clean and tidy!! All around best potbelly in the business!!!! 5 stars for sure!!!!

    Every single time I come there they won’t be busy, but they act like there’s multiple people in line. They rush through the sandwich, but most recently. I was just there and it was the complete opposite guy did not know what he was doing. Got back home most of my condiments not on the sandwich so I called up there. Spoke to one of the employees may be the manager. She said she was going to look to and pull up my order back then just left me on hold until I hung up Will not be going back to this location terrible customer service!! November 1, 5 PM for reference

    I understand that managing a store can be difficult. However, the “store manager” should not be yelling at staff all of the time. And when asked why he was yelling at his staff, he thought it would be a good opportunity to try to explain the difference between direction and yelling. Well as a former manager, I could not tell the difference. His refusal to provide a corporate number was also unacceptable. Next time he should go yell in a cooler like the rest of us.
