I would have given 5 + Stars. This salon was spotless and beautiful they took me with no appointment on a Friday (normally unheard of)😊. All staff and customers were very friendly. I had hair down to my waist and I SPECIFICALLY ASKED the stylist (no offense, the oldest stylist? there, who DID give me a wonderful wash and scalp treatment) just cut it in half put some long layers, face-framing and fix my bangs. As the haircut was going on another customer noticed "wow that's a lot of hair you're getting cut off, A lot more than half". so I got a little nervous & looked on the ground, but I was grateful they took me in with no appointment and I am not one to make a fuss or scene of any kind because I have major anxiety and I'm shy as hell. My hair was VERY long, my scalp WAS a mess and it needed A cut but I loved my long hair that's why I had been SO specific about ONLY cutting off half. I also told her NOT to blow my hair out straight because I never do I wear it curly. Basically she did what SHE wanted, not listening to me, yet mouthing about me, over my head to the other women I would assume because otherwise she would have said it loudly enough for me to hear it so that was rude. I walked out of there with the same haircut she had I think 🤔 Which was much more involved than what I had asked for. AND not what I SPECIFICALLY asked for. I am sorry I never put anything negative out here but being the wonderful young women that you were to me, I just thought you'd like to know I was SO upset & disappointed and didn't realize how short my hair was until after I left the salon. This is nothing against the salon AT ALL. It's about a cocky older hairdresser who is old school and she did what she wanted not what I wanted or the only thing she could do? I would definitely return to your salon again but never have her touch my head / hair again. 😪😔 and she still got a $20 tip out of me because that's the kind of person I am.

I had my first appointment at Expressions today and I cannot say enough great things about the salon, Lori (the owner) and the entire staff. The salon is so pretty, clean, and bright. Lori gave me a fantastic color and cut. Reasonably priced, friendly staff and superior quality cuts, color and more!

Where have these ladies been all my life!! They are so wonderful. I had Lori do the Hairdreams extensions and it's truly a life changer. It's was such a great experience. They always make you feel beautiful and have THE BEST CREW IN JERSEY!! They have me for life, I would highly recommend these ladies for your Salon experience.

Passing this Salon on Rt9 you would never expect what you find inside. It's very chic and welcoming and always clean. Their products are great! I love the shampoo and hair treatments and even styling products used for my normal wash cut and blowdryer. My daughter is four years old and has been there also for haircuts. Recently I had highlights done and I was very pleased with the service from Kristin. She did an excellent job! Definitely give this salon a try you'll leave happy and looking FABULOUS!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lori and her staff. They are very good at what they do and offer a fun and enjoyable experience to boot! They are professional, experienced, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Expressions is the Cheers version of Hair Salon's... The only thing missing are the cocktails!

I have been coming to this salon for many years. Lori busted her butt today to save my hair. I went from red and grey to blond with highlights. It came out fantastic! Came here to get a disaster of a dye job fixed and they did a phenomenal job! It's beautiful inside and they even have a coffee, tea, and snack bar. I was worried because it was my first time going solo to a hair appointment, but I was pleasantly surprised by how kind the staff and fellow customers were. It was a great experience and I look forward to coming back!

I've been getting my hair colored since I was 14. Iv'e had numerous salon experiences, but none like Expressions. Brittany has been doing my hair for about 3 years now and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. Each time I get my hair done, it comes out flawless. Brittany really takes the time to listen and understand what her customers are looking for. I get compliments on my hair all the time! Brittany is a color expert and her blow outs CAN NOT be beat! The entire Expressions staff is excellent. I take my 3 year old daughter to get her hair done and they are great with her!
