Beautiful park, some tar paths so you can easily push a wheelchair but it is hilly. The lookout isn't too far away just a nice walk on a well maintained path. We didn't see any of the buffalo. Maybe next time. The building had nice handicap bathrooms that were clean! Thank you!

Beautiful views and great hiking. Lots of good places to picnic. If you can get a view of the Bison herd it is fun to watch them.

Beautiful Dakota County Park! Very well maintained. Wonderful views of the Mississippi River. Nice biking and walking trails. Clean restrooms. Nice playground, horse shoe pits, sand volleyball pits.

Awesome park. The bike trail is amazing with great viewpoints. Some of the forest seems very untouched there. Lots of wildlife. Peaceful area.

First time we've ever been to this place and can I just say wow. The place was well maintained and clean. We parked over by the HUGE playground and took the first path we saw (which looked like a path of mowed grass at first) off to the left we saw a path lead into the woods and we knew we had to go! So glad we did! It was a beautiful easy trail with lots of places to explore. With covid they had "one way" trails and it made things a lot easier to get around and to know where to go. They had white paper maps of the trails to take with you and had plenty of maps along the way to mark where you are. Definitely bringing the kids to this place the next time around. Thanks for keeping this place beautiful and for letting the public still find fun things to do outside. Plenty of space and trails for everyone with lots of smiling faces! Exactly what we need these days. 10/10

Spring Lake Park is one of our favorite places to be! With easy trails, gorgeous views, and a tremendous layout, it's the best place to get away from everything and enjoy nature.

The park is well groomed and very clean. Bathrooms were easily accessed and clean. The entire trail on the bluff side was in the trees and shaded. Made for a nice walk on a hot day. Our dog enjoyed coming with us. They are allowed on a leash. The rest of the park trails are more open and you get beautiful views of the Mississippi. We stood and watched a large group of barges come through slowly and carfeully..... we also watched a storm roll in from the distance and loved it! The picnic areas are clean and well spaced. I wished we could have stayed longer. We want to explore the bike trails next time. What a lovely park.

👍 Love this park and trail. Great overlooks onto the water, tons of woods and flowers, and plenty of space. They are going through a restoration right now so some paths might not be available, and many trees/plants have been removed.

👍👍 Magical! There I am walking a more traditional, November MN hiking path with leaves on the ground instead of on the trees, when suddenly the path curves towards the water and moss everywhere! Go hike here mid day when it's quiet and you will feel like you stumbled upon a fairyland🌟💚🌟
