From the park you can walk along a boardwalk, trail and roadway into Bedford or go the other way towards halifax for a ways. If you walk into Bedford you past the 1.5 million dollar lots with new houses being built.

👍👍 Most beautiful lake spot in N.S. I love it here. Even though it's about a 30 min drive from home I don't care. The crowds are always small and it's so serene there. Water is clear and clean, and there's a lifeguard, of course. If you like lakes and beaches this place is a must see.
