Doctor’s office makes appointment, confirms appointment a day prior to appointment, had me take off from work to show up to appointment just to tell me that I cannot be seen due to no show fees. They did not notify before appointment, I have a sick mother at home who I help pay bills because she’s unable to work. I needed physical in order for this very important internship and they chose to have me wait a week, come in, and only THEN did they tell me they cannot see me. I am a full time college student who is struggling and they showed no compassion. Lack of professionalism and care for the patient.

My daughter started going to this office a couple of months ago. She went there in January. Doctor didn’t show up so she left. They called and said that my daughter owes $50 we spoke to a representative there who actually said she will waive the fees so my daughter call up to make app October 27, 2023 and they told her to look for a new provider. She’s not welcome to this office anymore because because she haven’t been there in a couple of months The staff is very nasty. They have no respect for the clients. Especially Heather. I went to get my daughters medical records. And they call the police. The cops came and they gave me. All the records Even the cop said that was ridiculous. Avoid going to any of their office. I have it all on recording and video.

Patient Beware!! I was denied my office visit because I wouldn’t pay the five dollar fee to use my debit card to pay my co-pay. They didn’t charge me that the last time and now this is a new charge that they want to charge me so then they said I had an open balance I knew nothing about and I had a choice to either pay something towards that balance or pay the $5 extra for the co-pay. so it was all about the money and not taking care of the patient’s needs. I would never come back here again. Receptionists were totally rude!!!

Every time I came here I had to wait a whole hour . They are not attentive , rude and also do not care to improve patient care . They have also jumbled up records and have made several mistakes . When brought to their attention they rather say find another provider instead of im sorry how can we do better to make your visit pleasant . I’ll gladly take my records and and find an office that is professional and values their patients. Don’t go here .

Great office with an excellent staff! Dr Foster was so lovely as was everyone else. You’ll definitely feel in good hands here. I only take away a star for the parking. Only certain spots are reserved for the doctors office and they were all taken so had to park on the street which only allows 2 hours so you risk being towed/getting a ticket. Thankfully I was out right on time.

This is the first time I've ever felt heard. I have been in pain for ages and yesterday when I went to see Dr.Charlene Foster it was a weight lifted off of my shoulders. She cared about everything I said to her. Every type of test possible was conducted to get to the bottom of what I'm going through. I have never enjoyed going to a doctors office but it was an incredible experience...and I can't forget the nurses and staff, they were wonderful. Everyone was extremely sweet, kind, friendly, and extremely thorough! First time I've ever felt hopeful about getting better. Thank you everyone at Halper!

Yesterday I had an appointment with Dr Foster. This was the 1st time I seen this doctor. As soon as she walked into the Room she introduced herself to me and right from the beginning I felt comfortable and knew that I was in good hands. Very professional,, Kind and caring. I Would be happy to have her as my primary doc. Every Dr I have seen has been very professional. Even the ladies at the front desk are very nice and professional. I have been With Dr Halper family medication For at least 7 years and have no plans on changing that. Thanks again for another good visit.

From the moment I walked into the office until the moment I walked out...I felt respected, comfortable and well cared for by the staff. This office is very attentive. I saw Dr. Grace who is an absolute sweetheart. Dr. Grace too her time to explain everything. She was not judgemental and most importantly, she did not make you feel rushed at all. The office was clean, not crowded and you were seen in a timely manner. If I could give this office 100 stars I would. *Bonus...parking is available, just make sure you park in the proper numbered slots.

I've been going to Halper Family Medicine for several years now, and I've always been impressed with the level of care I've received. The Team doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and office staff are always willing to listen to my concerns and take the time to explain my treatment options. I feel confident that I'm getting the best possible care at Halper Family Medicine. When I was so sick a few years ago, they literality save me. I am very loyal to excellence!

Had my annual physical as a new patient with Dr. Foster. Everyone in the office has been lovely. I did not wait long for my appointment and am very happy with my experience. Dr. Foster is exactly the kind of doctor you want - smart, kind and patient.

If I could give negative stars I would, this place only cares about money & they don’t care one bit about their patients. Truly sad that they have multiple locations and they are only hurting people. If you’re looking for a CROOKED doctor then this is your place but if you actually need help I’d suggest you go elsewhere. They are blaming this on not wanting to pay a fee but that couldn’t b further from the truth. That just proves that they did not even hear me out only $$$

I have been a patient of Halper Family medicine for the past 5+ years and couldn’t be happier with the providers and staff. Never a bad experience…P.A. Antoinette is exceptionally knowledgeable and caring. Highest recommendation for the practice overall.

They said they sent in my medication. when I got the pharmacy there was nothing. It’s after hours now and I can’t get anything. What’s the point of seeing the doctor if I can’t get treatment. Now I need to be sick another night and day. I don’t drive and I’ll need to find another ride now. However I recommend Lauren Kelly NP in Long Beach and she is worth the trip. She went above and beyond help me and to give me doctors to see when I needed a referral for a biopsy.

My first time here and immediately not impressed. I am helping some elderly family members, one of which is in a wheelchair, come to the dr for their visit. There are at least 4 young assistants here and only one other person waiting. They said they could go in and just stared at them from the doorway. No attempt to help with the wheelchair or even ask if help was needed. Blank stares. Just pure laziness or apathy in my opinion but personally, the little things matter especially in geriatrics and the basic courtesies towards the elderly. Oh, and there is no bathroom on this floor so there is that too. Update: as we were leaving the building we met Ally, works at Halper, at the elevator. She saw us and immediately asked if she could help and took over the wheelchair out to the car. She was personable, friendly, empathetic and helpful. She is someone the other young folk can learn from with regard to empathy. We will all be older one day. As such, amending my review as there is hope. On another note, this was my personal opinion having been there the first time. My elderly family members love their doctor there and staff.

I am so comfortable with Dr Foster. She is truly caring and non judgmental and her only concern is making her patients well! ❤

My mother goes here and her Doctor is everything! She is the sweets thing ever, so kind and understanding we love her. But the front staff omg so rude, obnoxious, not helpful, and they constantly have an attitude problem, they give out the impression as if they have no compassion for the patient. They SUCK! I wish the office would put a little more effort on the hiring for front desk since that is the face of the office. I use to bring my entire family here and because of that we switch. Family Halper Medicine please do better!

My family and I have been coming to Todd Halper and his family's practice more than half my life and I've always appreciated their ongoing care and professionalism towards us. They have helped myself, my family and my friends through many good times and bad. Offers a variety of on premise specialty testing as well as their mobile unit and multiple locations now. A great thing about Halper Family Medicine is they offer same day appointments which is rare. If you're looking for a primary care doctor then look no further. They have a great team of Doctors, PA's and friendly staff!

Halper is a good medical practice. Staff is friendly and easy to deal with. Doctors and PAs do seem to care and what i like is they listen and try to understand and work with you in terms of your medical care. The opinions are straight to the point based on what they see with your test and diagnosis. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a doctor. They’ve grown over the years and with any practice you dont really grow if you are not recommended by your clients.

I am a new patient (less than a month) I spoke to Philip at the RVC location about an issue with a prescription (not caused by the doctors office ). He is extremely professional and kind . He went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were met!!! Also Dr. Maria is one of the best doctors I have had in a very long time! I’m so happy with Halper Family Medicine and love the staff 💕

I & my family have been patients for over 30 years. Extremely satisfied with the care we receive. We get ultrasounds as well as many other services all at their office. They also have a excellent cardiologist & gastroenterologist at Rockville Centre Office. Our appointments are always on time. They are the best.

The office is well organized. The staff is very professional. Parking is available. Dr Foster cares about her patients, takes time to explain your conditions and the plan of care. She goes over health maintenance with you in order to prevent diseases and keep you healthy. I highly recommend this practice.

I must say that for a clinic this is probably as good as it gets. With four offices within reasonable vicinity to choose from appointments are pretty much always available. While the operation isn't perfect I still give it a five star based on the value they provide. Dr Halper runs a great operation and I am happy to vouch for him and his staff.

Hands down the best doctor around and have been my doctor for the past 19 years. Halper Family Medicine is attentive and detailed. A few times I’ve called off of an emergency that didn’t require or need a hospital visit and they were always supportive and arranged their schedule to see me. I recommend them to everyone I personally know due to the trust I have in them with my own health.
