I
am
a
new
patient
of
Dr.
Sameer
Desai’s.
I
found
our
first
appointment
to
be
very
hopeful
and
assuring.
There
is
a
great
deal
of
anxiety
that
accompanies
having
unresolved,
as
well
as
unresolvable,
chronic
medical
issues.
Not
least
of
which
is
finding
a
specialist
who
is
able
to
take
the
time
necessary
to
gain
a
good
understanding
of
the
symptoms
his/her
patient
is
dealing
with.
And
who
is
willing
and
able
to
take
the
time
to
give
those
symptoms
thoughtful
consideration.
I
can
(usually)
readily
pick
up
on
whether
or
not
I
feel
comfortable
moving
forward
with
a
particular
provider.
The
impression
I
was
left
with
after
meeting
with
Dr.
Desai
is
that
I
am
in
wonderful
hands.
Dr.
Desai
also
gave
me
the
name
of
an
Endocrine
Surgeon
he
thinks
highly
of.
I
had
been
searching
for
a
specialist
in
that
area
for
many
months,
and
have
made
multiple
attempts
to
find
one
on
my
own.
Attempts
that
ultimately
resulted
in
feeling….lost,
afraid,
and
even
hopeless.
I
feel
confident
in
the
suggestion
Dr.
Desai
provided.
That
very
same
day,
I
reached
out
to
the
surgeon
he
recommended.
I
now
have
an
upcoming
appointment
with
her,
and
have
Dr.
Desai
to
thank
for
this.
Also
of
note,
Krista,
who
took
my
vitals
and
performed
some
of
my
intake,
was
very
amiable
and
likable.
She
came
across
as
genuine,
down-to-earth,
and
easy
to
speak
with.
I
felt
comfortable
answering
questions
I
am
not
always
willing
to
answer,
simply
because
her
positive
disposition
helped
to
put
me
at
ease.
Ellyn,
who
manned
the
front
desk
with
ease,
was
also
very
pleasant
and
clearly
competent.
The
following
day,
I
received
a
phone
call
from
Charlene,
another
member
of
the
Astera
staff,
who
reached
out
with
helpful
guidance
regarding
some
of
the
answers
I
had
provided.
I
will
be
following
up
on
that
this
week,
and
will
be
meeting
with
Dr.
Desai
after
having
the
prescribed
tests.
All
in
all,
I
had
a
very
positive
experience
and
am
happy
to
move
forward
with
this
provider.
