Dr. Rathore is a genuinely caring psychiatrist. I decided to leave this practice after repeatedly struggling with some of their administrative protocols and as a result Dr. Rathore reached out and earnestly attempted to make things right, and offered a genuine respect for my experiences as a patient within his practice. This is significant, especially since he was not my primary provider. Even though I ultimately insisted on finding a different practice, he no doubt heard me out and made promises to amend these protocols in the future for other patients and I respect that level of professionalism a lot. I’ll also note that he immediately inquired if he could personally assist me in finding a new provider. It’s my personal opinion that this type of ethical measure as well as person-to-person compassion is, frankly, far and few between in psychiatry and therefore I gladly recommend his practice. I absolutely love and admire Dr. Rathore! He's been my psychiatrist for about 4 years. He and Dr. Aming are both professional, intelligent, courteous. They both show compassion and understanding dealing with Mental Health Wellness. The staff at Northern Medical Group are top notch. They are willing to do in-person visits and by telephone. Dr. Rathore was voted the Top Psychiatrist in our Area. He's knows his stuff. I went from a junkie using for over 2 decades to celebrating 4 years in A.A. Recovery and 12-step groups. With the help of Northern Medical Group I know I never have to go back to the hopelessness of addiction.

If you are going to respond saying I can speak to someone directly and you’ll work with me. Actually hold up to that. Was just told on the phone the next availability for a new patient here is next year? So much for receiving good mental health help..

I feel the best I have in 40 years thanks to Dr Rathore's guidance. Dr Rathore is kind, knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. 40 years ago we suffered a horrible family tragedy that plunged me into depression. I was on three antidepressants for most of 40 years. I could hold a job but was not happy. Dr Rathore recommended that I try a new treatment called repetitive Transcranial electroMagnetic Stimulation (rTMS). I find rTMS utterly transformational. Among other things the treatment raises the electrical activity of the brain. The course of treatment is 36 twenty minutes sessions. Dr Rathore and his team overcame 40 years of resistant depression in a few weeks !!! I am now happy again and on one antidepressant, now at one-third the dosage that I once was on. Also I used to have a constant flood of thoughts. Now I have a quiet head which makes it much easier to focus. I tell every medical provider I see about rTMS and suggest that they regularly see people who could benefit from rTMS. rTMS therapy requires equipment that is generally only available in urban centers. We are extraordinarily lucky that world-class cutting-edge treatment is now available in the Hudson Valley !!! I could not recommend Dr Rathore and his team more highly. Be well.

I have been a patient of Dr Rathore for over six years. I could not have imagined then that I would have the life that I have today. I would not be here without the help, guidance and support from Dr Rathore. He has helped me through the years more than he knows. He is easy to talk to and is not judgmental. He has always been kind & respectful. He truly cares about his patients. He is truly one of the best doctors and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Rathore has been treating me for 10 years. When I think back, I reflect on how much of my life I have shared with him in sessions . I have always felt respected and supported as well as feeling heard. I recommend him highly both as a patient, but also as a treating professional myself. Cora, his office manager is kind and very professional as well. She has been on his staff for quite sometime. I believe this speaks to a good working relationship and communication amongst staff.

Dr Rathore is the most caring, compassionate and patient physician we have ever had! He goes above and beyond to address our issues in the most encouraging, positive and helpful way. My son is an adult with autism. Dr. Rathore did so much research to try and help my son with his anxieties and triggers and worked with me and another physician to do what was best for my son. He never gave up on us and took the time to listen, and really understand what we were going through. I am so grateful to Dr. Rathore For helping my son and our family. I would highly recommend Dr. Rathore and his group to anyone who ever asked. His staff is very courteous and efficient and helpful as well. I would say nothing short of him being the best of the best.

Dr. Rathore is absolutely amazing. I’ve been a patient of his for 4 months now thanks to my friend Amanda who introduced me to him. Thank god he took me on because I needed him and I didn’t even know it! he’s helped me so much! He’s a kind compassionate doctor who doesn’t judge you. He listens and he cares.I’m so grateful to him and I look forward to him continuing to be my doctor for a long time because doctors like him are very rare these days!

Dr. Rathore is a very kind and understanding doctor. He has change my life for the better. I am very open and honest with everything in my personal life, he’s like a very dear friend of mine. I would never switch doctors, because doctors like Dr. Rathore are hard to find. He’s about helping in any way he can and voices his thoughts and options in a way that no other doctor can.
