Soooo… it was going to be a long holiday weekend a few days after realizing I had broken my ankle and foot. No Doctors were available- at least not the ones who took my insurance! First I went to Urgent Care where they did nothing for me but wrap me in an ace bandage and tell me to start Physical Therapy for 4 weeks- WRONG! It was so swollen and painful that I cringed at the thought of anybody even touching it, let alone have me doing PT stuff so soon after my injury! With nowhere else to turn, I remembered I had Tae as a friend online and decided to send him a message to see if he could help me. Without hesitation, he offered to come to my home and relieve me of some of my pain and swelling by trying a procedure called Moxibustion. With it involving heat, I was reluctant at first, but ultimately decided to give it a try! Dr. Kim was here within 30 mins and we sat on my stoop together while he explained the procedure he would be doing on me. And then he started the procedure. He lit something on fire (sorry, not sure what it’s called), blew it out, then proceeded to use the heat from it to circle around the swollen parts of my ankle and foot very close to my skin. I felt the warmth right away and I’d say about 15-20 mins after he completed the procedure, he asked me to stand up and see how it feels. I was shocked and overwhelmed with happiness when I could actually walk normally again for the first time in 4 days! No injections, no nasty pain meds, no surgery- thank God! I love that he uses all natural techniques that actually work and I definitely look forward to seeing him again soon, if possible! I highly recommend contacting him and getting into his office if you have any type of pain going on before you go see any doctor who is probably just going to dump pain meds on you and do unnecessary surgery! I will also be seeing him for injuries sustained to my back from a car accident and my asthma! Seriously, look up Ki Body and Spirit and check out what he does then call in to speak to him about scheduling, you won’t regret it! Thanks again, Tae!! You’re the best!! 😎🙏🏻💙 (The first few pics are of my ankle/foot before and the last two pics are how it looks now)

Five phases acupuncture has been my first stop for anything medical/wellness related items. Tae and his team have helped me immensely in my life and well-being. From overcoming depression and ADHD, to also managing the symptom and withdrawals for the medications prescribed due to my misdiagnosis from my doctors - Five Phases Acupuncture has been there for me. I have successfully retrained my brain and habits for a healthier lifestyle. While I don’t have any issues now I continue to return for wellness and an escape - the atmosphere of the center is very peaceful and Tae really brings great energy. If you haven’t tried acupuncture yet - Tae is the best person to start with.

For more than 6 months, I was seeking help for pain which was difficult to explain. My pain stems from the pudendal nerve which is found in the pelvis. It is the biggest network of nerves and is located behind the sacrospinous ligament, near the tailbone. Sitting and sleeping was awful. Dr. Tae has given me my quality of life back. Thank you Dr. Tae and Five Phases Acupuncture.

I've been a patient at Five Phases for a few years now, seeing Tae on and off for several issues. Every single time I have an amazing experience there! The scheduling is easy, the office staff is friendly, and the office environment is very welcoming and relaxing. Tae is very knowledgeable and professional. On my last visit he helped me with recovering joint mobility after my knee surgery. I would recommend Five Phases to anyone who wants to heal pain or injuries, improve sleep, or manage stress. Five stars for Five Phases!

I was involved in a car accident and my lawyer recommended a clinic and I went to and I didn't get better, until I came to see Dr. Tae, who happens to be my friend. He got rid of my pain, straightened out my spine, got my breathing to be so much better in just one treatment. Every treatment I got from him since he has gotten my back to eventually to become pain free and I was able to avoid surgery that the doctors recommended for me. I go to him for maintenance to keep my back healthy.

👍👍 We were at a doctors appointment near by this location, I’ve seen it before but never went in. We tried it and it was very very nice! Design and the lighting and customer service. I loved the vibe and cookies! The hot chocolate and ice coffee was truly delicious. I’d highly recommend this place!
