I was Pleasuring myself in the bathroom, when a hot lady named kat commed into the bathroom and told me ti get out. on the way out, johny the cashier was laughing at me. i need to pleasure myself, and it is deeply embarrsing when people find my addiction funny. but their food was alright.

My bowl had this weird semi-transparent white sticky stuff in it. Not sure if it was the secret ingredient or something new, but it didn't taste good.

Excellent place for all superfruits and granola. You can build your own or pick from the list on the wall. See my picture for the options. It is really good, fresh and very tasty. The size is big as well so it can be shared if you don't have a big stomach but it is so good that you might wanna keep it all to yourself. The store design is fun as well.

Not only was the worker impolite when I approached the counter, staring at me until I stated that I had a pick up order, but my receipt, bag, and bowl were all smeared with whatever ingredients were on the server’s gloves. To top it off, my açaí bowl was more granola than açaí, many of the strawberries weren’t fresh, and the added kiwi that I paid for was no where to be found. I LOVE playa bowl and have only had pleasant experiences, so this was pretty annoying, to say the least.

Super fresh fruit, wonderful açaí bowls. Better than ice cream and definitely healthier. Hubby loves going for ice cream and since he tried Playa Bowls he prefers this to overly sweet ice cream and it’s healthier too

The workers are always kind, and I really liked there too jars which had people voting for Taylor or drake. Super cute

Playa Bowls in Chester is wonderful! Located in the heart of town is very convenient. They have a great atmosphere and the staff is friendly. The manager is always there. They also support our schools’ fundraising activities and are a wonderful addition to our community. I highly recommend this business!

I have some health issues and I’m on a strict diet. The person who helped me so calm, patient, and helped me in getting exactly what I needed to be healthy.

Playa Bowls in Chester is the absolute best! Everyone working there is always extremely nice and the bowls are always fresh and delicious! The staff is so important when I’m deciding where to grab food and the women at Playa Bowls are always exceptional.

This is my absolute favorite location every time they somehow exceed our expectations. They make the best bowls and are always super pleasant.

Delicious bowl. Electric Mermaid is my go to. Only thing that could make it better is listing the calories…. And non-sticky counter tops.

Very very very long wait for fruit. They are slower than fast food where everything is cooked. None of the staff are bothered by the long line of customers, they are sort of off in their own little world moving at a snail's pace. At this rate, I am highly motivated to learn how to make my own bases and make my own bowls. For the money, not worth the wait. Also, don't bother tipping, because it doesn't make them move any faster.

Staff is rude, especially the blonde girl. But the biggest issue I have is with consistency; first couple times I came here I was satisfied. Then had the same issue twice, I’m not sure if this is a management change or something but the price for these bowls is HIGH and thus I expect a quality smoothie bowl. Yet the past two orders I’ve received granola bowls, over 80% of my 25$ order for 2 bowls consisted of granola. A sprinkle of granola on top was what I received the first couple times and then I just started getting straight up cereal bowls. The lackluster service can be overlooked even when they completely mess up on the order because it’s not the end of the world to have the wrong fruit toppings imo. But the granola is a huge turn off probably permanently due to the hassle and disappointment of going to the car and seeing all the 2 tablespoons of smoothie bowl soaked up into the 2 cups of granola it was sandwiched between. Unfortunately it seems like a way to cut costs on the business by offering sub par product for the same premium. Shady business practices make for unhappy customers.. who woulda known.

I waited for 25 mins for 1 bowl and 1 smoothie. When I went to the desk to ask where it was, the person said "oh it's here" and pulled it out from a cabinet under the desk and the manager immediately (and unpromoted) said "I think we called your name and nobody came". #1 that's not true, my wife and I were standing at the pickup for 25 mins and there were like 2 other people in there with us there was 0 chance they called out name. #2 immediately makes it my fault. #3 she took my order and I'm the only one there - after 25 mins you think they would check themselves why I'm standing there still. #4 no apology. I left pretty annoyed by the service. Bowl and smoothie were good though, so 2 stars overall.

I’ve had to come twice in a row. Such friendly service, and they have patience with me as I always mispronounce the names. I’m a little late but totally addicted to Playa bowls.

Delicious and never disappointed on the freshness! I love that my 7 year will eat Playa Bowl. Service was also quick and friendly!

Terrible customer service at this location and questionable health and safety practices. Met my boyfriend at this location but I primarily frequent the playa bowls in Somerville at least once a week, and have never never experienced any issues with that location. Unfortunately, this playa bowls location was a completely different experience. Our bowls were only 2/3 of the way filled and I also added a tip, so that was disappointing. However, the rest of our experience was even worse. We sat at the counter to eat and one of the employees is already mopping the floors (one hour before closing mind you) while customers are still walking in and out. We saw an elderly woman walk in, and she easily could have fallen on the wet floor. The final straw was when that same employee started spraying cleaner on the counter maybe a foot from where we were sitting, and chemicals were coming into contact with our food. We were completely disgusted at that point and got up to leave. It was obvious that they wanted to get out of there as early as possible and we noticed that they locked the door prior to 8pm (their posted closing time). Not sure what is going on at this particular location but we will avoid this one at all costs. Do better, especially when it comes to the health and safety of your customers.

Chester location is clean, staff is young & friendly. My first time ever ordering Playa Bowls. Too bad the Poke Bowls aren't offered at every location, which I don't understand and what I really wanted. I ordered a smoothie and Oatmeal instead, wholesome.

I usually go to Playa Bowls before work and it's really filling. A lot of people say it's expensive, but considering the amount that they give you, and how expensive it is to get produce today, I think it's totally worth the price. The staff there is incredibly kind, and even when they were really busy, the cute young lady with the septum piercing got my order out very quickly, and the atmosphere there is just overall welcoming :)
