My husband and I had the Lahmacun and a meat platter last night. I forgot the name but everything was so good it was worth every penny! Would definitely recommend

I love this place! Comfortable, plenty of space, good food and atmosphere. I come here for lunch usually and been few times. Gyro is great. Lentil soup with lemon is delicious ! Portions are very generous and good prices for lunch special. Definitely coming back!

I was on a business travel and Googled nearby restaurants when I saw this Turkish restaurant having positive reviews. So, I went to their location to personally checked it and ordered shish lamb kebab platter. There were plenty of choices but for me lamb kebab is the one that will set the bar on how good and authentic the Turkish restaurant is. After 10min wait, I received my order; guess what, it’s really one of the best kebab restaurants I have tasted in the states. The authenticity of its flavor and freshness of ingredients was really worth a visit and your money! Highly recommended!

Food was really good, the restaurant itself is really nice and beautiful. The service provided by our waitress today was very lovely, she was so kind. Restaurant inside is unique and cute. Worth the visit!

I was dropping off a new car for a client of mine and me and a co worker decided to eat here for lunch. So happy we did, the restaurant was busy and non stop for pick up orders. We sat at the bar and ordered our soups chicken lemon and red lentil soup, green salad and main entrees that were chicken gyro and lamb gyro. Wow so good and filling and the price was just right. Amazing customer service and spacious indoor dining room. I’d highly recommend this mediterranean food spot !

Had a great lunch here. The beyti kebab and bulgur wheat were great. They also had one of the best baklava I've ever had. The owner was welcoming and personally thanked me for stopping in.

Solid stop for some Greek and Turkish classics. I love their Orzo soup and Turkish dumplings. Excellent, friendly service, the owner greets me at my table every time I visit.

Possibly the best gyro and kebab we have ever had. Fresh vegetables, soft pita, perfectly cooked meat. It was halfway gone before I even had the chance to snap a photo for this review. We will be back!

This restaurant is incredible! My family used to love going when they were in Setauket, so we were so happy to find this location. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Our waiter Furkan helped us pick out a great selection of dishes and was so friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

A great place for fresh and flavorful food. The menu looks interesting - I look forward to returning and trying something new. This first visit, I tried the lamb gyro: the meat and flavor were spectacular! Large serving with a nice presentation. The staff is friendly, too, and engaged me in conversation. I didn't see it on the menu, but they do have Turkish coffee as well as American coffee.

Damn good soup! Not that I normally get excited over soup.But on a raw, dreary day away from home Pita House was an awesome find. The Turkey Orzo soup, simple as it sounds, was banging with the flavors of Turkish spice and tender turkey. My daughter & I split the Zucchini Fritters appetizer. I think they put it in the wrong category as it was entree-sized. Three shredded zucchini patties, breaded, fried and covered with warm yogurt and tomato sauces: it was the best thing I've eaten in a while! The fritters also stuffed us. Had to take our Greek Salad and Lamb Adana gyro (huge) to go. They made great snacks later on. Service was great - friendliest people in the area. They walk you through the Turkish menu, happy to get others acquainted with their delicious cuisine

From the ambience, to the welcoming wait staff, to the fresh and impeccably delicious food, I can truly say that Pita House is the best restaurant for Turkish delicacies on the island. I absolutely love coming here. And the owner is a one of a kind gentlemen. Thank you for your service. Everyone reading this, if you’re deciding on whether to try this spot out….JUST COME! It’ll have been the best decision you’ve ever made. And you’ll leave with a happy stomach and plenty of leftovers. (Great generous portions !!!!) Joff takes such joy in presenting delicious Mediterranean food beautifully. Not one detail is missed, from the off the bone on-site made gyro meat to the Turkish tea to the lemons on beautiful china. I also sampled the on-site made turkey gyro meat. Delicious. The tatziki sauce has a hint of mint that compliments everything it touches. Worth the trip on your way to the Hamptons, and by itself alone. Amazing. Our server, Taylor was over the top efficient and kind.

Take out or dine in, I always love pita house. I’ve since moved off LI and this is where I go when I’m visiting and craving a really good lamb gyro. The meat is incredible. It’s perfect! And the staff are great too. Always look forward to the chance to come back.

My family and myself have been coming to the pita house for years now! We absolutely love it! The food is outstanding! The service has always been top notch. The owner has been always friendly and kind to our family, even sitting and being a part of my mother’s birthday party we held there. Well worth it!

I placed a catering order with Pita House . This is my go to place for a nice change up then Italian . The catering platters were amazing . I had a party of 15 people and had plenty of food . The price of my package was a good deal . The quality was awesome! My guest were very happy ! Thank you for everything, Pita House. Thank you Joff for everything!

Beautiful restaurant. It’s so welcoming and lovely, the waiters are extremely kind and the food is extremely delicious and beautifully presented and prepared. What a fantastic place, very happy I can here. It’s very homey and cozy, a very good and nice atmosphere. Staff is kind and lovable. I definitely recommend coming here.

Visited Pita House again and got a taste of their manti – those delightful Turkish dumplings stuffed with lamb. Absolute winners! We also tried the specials: the lamb shank and stuffed eggplant. That eggplant? Creamiest I’ve ever had. And the lamb shank? Pure melt-in-your-mouth magic. What I truly appreciate is their consistent quality over the years. If you’re after authentic Turkish flavors and top-notch dishes, this is the spot! We have been coming here for over 10 years and not once have we ever been disappointed. They keep stepping up their menu too. We are lucky to have a slice of Turkey on Long Island.

You got to try the combo dips! So amazing and fresh! Everything is made in house. The lamb chops melted in my mouth and fell off the bone. The owner and staff were so friendly and accommodating, definitely going back!

Had our annual 2022 Holiday Dinner, upon entering we were greeted by the owner who is also the chef, a very pleasant person who takes great pride in the menu items and personally directed the flow of the meal. The portions was generous and served hot and very favorable even accommodating a vegetarian meal for party member. Great place for a meal especially for groups, won't disappoint.

We shared a bottle of wine and had four different appetizers. The food was exceptional. The Zucchini Fritters were amazing and melted in your mouth. The Turkish cigars - both Feta and Pastrami - were delicious and very fresh. The dough was clearly homemade. We also had mini lamb pizzas with fresh tomatoes and red onions. We can not say enough about how good this food was. Very friendly owner and wait staff made for a perfect meal.

Food is okay. The appetizers were good. The cheese cigars were crispy and cheesy. The eggplant with sauce was really nice. The iskandar gyro main was not good. I don't recommend it. French fries were bad. I do not think people order fries here often so stick to rice. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The salad was okay. It could be fresher.
