    The worst customer service ever. I bought a barbecue grill for my mother in law as a gift, I was excited for them to deliver it, but they just delivered a very filthy one to us . When we called them to exchange a new one they hung up on us. We went to the store and tried to get help, the manager name Rebecca was very mean and didn’t ask what happened just said we had to bring it back until they can do anything. It’s very disappointing and unacceptable. What a bad attitude as a store manager. I will never come back.

    Great. There's a Vietnam Veteran working there His name is Farmer He can answer any question in horticulture. What a gem! And a great guy to know. I hope Lowes appreciates him. .

    This is the most fully stocked, cleanest Lowe's I've been to. Even their garden center was so organized and clean! I drove over 20 miles to pick up an item they had in stock and was completely hooked immediately. The store associates volunteered to help me find what i was looking for within 10 steps of walking in. Ended up spending almost $200 on impulse buys because I saw things I had not seen at other Lowe's and it was ideas after ideas. Definitely a place to come for inspiration. I do frequent the Lowe's closest to me, about 1 mile away, but will certainly come here from time to time because it was such a great experience.

    Absolutely terrible experience with the virtual kitchen design. No communication whatsoever and you become your own project manager after they give you the design. Wrong measurements taken, items with damages, etc. Lowes has no sympathy for you and doesn’t care that you’ve been without a sink for 7 weeks. Over 3 months later I’m about to finally have a kitchen. Will never use again for home renovation.

    Not 1 but 2 different orders were both supposed to be delivered today and neither order was delivered. Very poor job by whoever is in charge of deliveries. There’s no reason I should have to transport a refrigerator in my vehicle when it was supposed to be delivered.

    I used the pickup in the lot. Took 5 minutes and helped load my car with everything we bought online. Not a long wait for the order to be ready. Their competition takes hours to get ready and sometimes a half hour before they get to your car.

    Omg!! I don’t do many neg reviews but I just had too I was advised a few times that riverhead location was the worst. They weren’t kidding. I did give it a try a few times but no luck. This location is so poorly managed !! Staff is terrible along with quality of work and team play. I wondered why the store was empty the few times I was there. Haha now I know.

    My favorite hardware store with comparable prices to the other nib chains ..BUT the difference is their staff, always solicitous , asking to help find things , advising you with real knowledge … I’ve wandered other brand shops for hours looking for things like a zombie going down one aisle after another .. NOT AT LOWES ! I love especially Leo’s advice at the riverhead shop

    If you have another choice take it, I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for a dishwasher that was in stock when I ordered it. The salesman told me it was in the back he even went to check because I would have picked a different mode. after it didn’t come I called and was on hold for over an hour just to be told they didn’t save my number or name to the order and that it was on back order and I’d have to wait or cancel the order. I called again because this is the second time I wasn’t informed it wasn’t coming and that that’s just the way this system works. I hate this Lowe’s now and I hope people read this so they don’t have to experience the frustration I have had to endure.

    It was to get paint and the man you have in paint told us about getting the samples first before buying a gallon , well he was so right and now we have the perfect color on our wall s so I want to thank him so much.

    Kelly in lawn and garden is a wonderful person who goes above and beyond for her customers and fellow employees. I recommend seeing her for anything you need at Lowe's, they are extremely lucky to have her and I hope they know it.

    Great place to shop, best employee ever is the hardware girl. She knows what she is talking about. She is the Queen of the universe. She knows many things... She can look into your eyes and tell everything about you. She has magic powers, the tools speak to her and coffee is her elixir. She can read coffee beans and tell your future. But be careful... Do not get her angry. She will use her magical powers to turn the tools you buy against you. Bits will be lost, drill chucks will get stuck.. batteries will overheat. But if you treat her with respect, the magical hardware queen has much to offer. You'll find her roaming the aisles offering great customer service to all that deserve it. This is also a wonderful place to shop, everyone is willing to help, they get stuff done. A bunch of Hardworking people who actually care about helping others. Trust me, I would know 😉

    While the customer service in the Lowe's store was great, the follow-up from their measuring service was terrible. I spoke to a wonderful store associate who set me up to schedule a measuring appointment for a bathroom floor remodel. I set up my preference online for a morning appointment, but was called the night before and told that the person would be there in the afternoon. I explained that I made sure my partner and I would be home in the morning - is there a way to guarantee a morning/afternoon time for another day? I was then told that there is NEVER a guarantee, meaning that with two working adults in the household, you cannot schedule a measurement appointment without having an entire day blocked off. I feel like this is completely unreasonable. Ultimately when the call center couldn't give me any guarantee for another day in the morning, I determined that we would have to take our business elsewhere. It's a shame because the store experience was great.

    We went to look at lawnmowers. I was set on a gas mower but couldn’t get a Snapper anymore. We were directed to Kelly who was diligently helping a customer find an item. When she spoke to us she was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and had no personal agenda. She introduced the idea of a battery powered mower and after spending time giving us info we decided to buy and Ego product. I used it yesterday and I LOVE it! But even better than that ... old fashioned customer service! Many thanks Kelly!

    I received help from Leo in the wood trim and molding area. My wife and I wanted to install wainscoting in a bathroom. Leo helped us pick out everything we needed to get the job done. He gave us help on the style and helpful thoughts on doing the job. He stuck with us through finding all of the items instead of just answering one question and then disappearing. He was also super friendly to my wife and 3 y/o daughter. Turns out he just started at Lowe’s after many years in carpentry. He’s doing his training now at Stony Brook before moving to Riverhead so we met him at the Stony Brook location. Best of luck to Leo at Lowe’s in Riverhead.

    Went here to buy a toolbox that was difficult to find and arrange shipment for online due to certain pieces being in stock at different stores. Scott the Floor/Tool Manager had coincidentally just put that same toolbox out on the floor. He honored the online Lowes pricing and made the checkout and shipping arrangement process smooth and easy. The toolbox arrived the next day in great condition! Shopping online can be great but sometimes going to the store really pays off, and I'll definitely be returning to this Lowe's location with any future tool/home needs.

    absolute worst customer service i’ve dealt with in my life. they installed a window last year, which was over $1000 and took months to get, incorrectly. getting a hold of them within the warranty period and getting anyone to help has been a nightmare. hundreds of calls and them and their installer true built are the absolute worst. get a window anywhere else. never here.

    Usually always my go to place but last week when I was there lookingfor a new set of power tools I was asked by two separate people if they could help and before I could get anything out was asked if I had a credit card through them and when I told them I did not and don't need one was then told if you need help then let me know and walked away. Needless to say I just ordered everything from Home Depot and I'm very happy with my purchase.

    A very nice typical Lowes store. Ample parking but not a lot of associates for help. Store is well marked by product category and is very clean. There seemed to be enough stock for displayed items.
