Stopped here for lunch after dropping a rental bike off at the shop across the street. Thank goodness I did! So amazing! We are from Michigan, but whenever we are back to this beautiful city, we will stopping in again. Got an amazing looking key lime pie to go for some easy brownie points with the wife. Great adult beverage selection as well!

Hidden gem and a must try for all things battered/fried! We ordered the battered snap peas as an appetizer, and split the fish and chips as our main. Both were incredible and our food came out minutes after ordering, piping hot and fresh! Service was friendly and efficient, and we were able to get a table right away even though we didn't make a reservation (unsure if that's always the case- we went before noon on a week day). Would reccomend 100%!

The steak salad was supreme. Meat was tender and flavorful. Prompt and pleasant service. I will definitely be back. Oh, how could I forget the tomato basil soup. It could have been hotter (came out lukewarm) still yummy.

Great food with a classy atmosphere. We had the filet sandwhich with snap peas, Elizabeth salad, a burger, mac n cheese, and key lime pie. Everything was really good. Service was excellent.

Such a great experience! I came here yesterday with my partner yesterday and was very pleased with my experience. The restaurant itself is very small and cozy, so it doesn’t seat too many people. Our wait was approx 45 minutes but luckily there’s a lot to do in the area while you wait. Once seated, our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. She was super acknowledged of the menu and very patient with us while we decided on what to get. I ordered the pretzel bread, mash potatoes and pecan salad. My partner ordered the fish and chips. Everything came out relatively quick and tasted absolutely delicious. I would definitely return!

Drove up with family for a hockey tourney and wanted to try some local restaurants and so glad we chose this place! It was so yummy. Loved the batter snap peas and Curry chicken salad sandwich. Would definitely recommend trying anything on the menu. Our kids had the burger with fries and mac n cheese and both loved their food. Husband had the steak sandwich which he also loved. Happy we were able to stop in and enjoy this restaurant.

Yum! This place is so good. The service is fantastic. I went and put my name in and was told fifteen to twenty minutes which is to be expected at 6:00 pm so I went over to patina to look and not even five minutes later the owner came in and found me to let me know a table had opened up! It was so nice of them. It is very pretty inside. The service is really good and everyone is so helpful. They have two bathrooms and a small corner of books for kids to bring back to the table. And my food hit the spot. Their pretzel bread is a must have!

Ate here last night, it was wonderful! Got to George & The Dragon at about 5:30 on a Wednesday. Put my name in for a table for two, about a 40 minute wait but my friend and I went to The Malt Shop next door while we waited. Very friendly and courteous staff. The ambiance in this place was good, music at a perfect volume, good yellow/amber lighting..loved it! Now the food 10/10! We ordered the Bacon Onion dip for the table, was very tasty and the portion was good for the price. $12. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and chips. $14. The chicken was perfectly cooked and breaded lightly, a good fresh bun which in my opinion makes or breaks a sandwich, it also had a house sauce and avocado on it. So tasty! For a side I got the Homemade Chips(fries) and they were also good, could tell they were fresh! I highly recommend this place, will for sure go back!

We went to George and The Dragon for the first time. We loved the intimate size of the restaurant, the small and straightforward menu, and of course the food. For four people, we ordered two appetizers (batterer snap peas and pretzel bread), four entrees (chicken Milanese, dragon milks braised beef rib, and two of the daily specials which was prime rib) and three deserts (cookies, key lime pie *YUM* and crème brûlée). In the future, I would stick to the menu and not the daily special. The menu pricing is pretty on par with the portion sizing- which I actually enjoyed because I could fully finish my meal AND I had room for dessert. I accidentally spilled my friend’s wine but the server was great and brought napkins/ soda water and even brought another glass of wine to replace the one we spilled- I thought this really went above and beyond. Looking forward to my next visit!

Splendid experience!! Food was top notch (so flavorful and delicious), service was friendly and helpful and the beer/wine list had a solid variety! I had the Asian hangover and loved it!! Husband has the chicken Milanese and said he thought his was even better than mine (he loved mine too)! 👍🏼👨🏽‍🍳👍🏼two huge thumbs up to the chef!! Oh and the key lime pie … worth it. It has a cool candied pecan flavored crust. I would vote for a little more key lime and a little less whipped cream, but that’s a preference. Thank you!

We found this great little place for lunch on our visit to Minneapolis. The atmosphere is English pub with cool pictures on the walls and a comfortable vibe. Draft beer selection was pretty solid. The food was delicious, my husband had the steak sandwich and I had the caprese toastie and they were both very good! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a laid back lunch spot!

Stopped by for a quick bite after visiting the Wild Rumpus bookstore. The kids cheese burger was huge with silky hand cut crispy fries. Tomato basil bisque with house made pretzel bun (appetizer) was a meal in itself. Saw this place on Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins and it did not disappoint. Come early, or get a reservation as this spot fills up fast!

This was fantastic! It's just a small place, so make sure you make a reservation, but it's so worth it. The food was incredible and our server was perfect 👌 We got the rib dish and the salmon dish and we practically licked our plates clean. HIGHLY recommend the pretzel bread!

Had a wonderful evening at George and the Dragon! It was poppin for a Monday night and it’s a small place - but totally worth the wait! We got the fried pickles, chicken sandwich, and chicken Milanese and my god it was all amazing! I cannot wait to go back and eat the chicken Milanese over and over again, while forcing others to order other items so I can try!

You'd think you were in a pub in London when you're in this wonderful neighborhood restaurant. I appreciated the nod to the chef's Filipino heritage. The lumpia are just the way my mother would have made them - proportioned just right, packed with flavor, expertly rolled, and fried to perfect crispness. I couldn't resist the Asian Hangover - like a dinner version of a traditional Filipino breakfast! I will be visiting again, not just for the food, but for the friendly and welcoming staff and energetic vibe.

The food was really good and they have good beer. It was rather busy for a Wed evening, so I ate at the bar. Waiting 45 minute was not an option. And the bartender was lovely and a delight. Only bad point is street parking. There isn't much street parking especially in the winter.

Great food, good people, and awesome taps! This is my favorite place for my Friday beer habit! They also have wine for you wine enthusiasts and for the beer adventurer a couple of large format bombers from Belgium, France, and local Minnesota! They have curry specials and sandwich specials that can supplement the regular menu for those that come here regularly and want to try something new. I am truly glad this survived the pandemic and the team is still the same team when I left 4 years ago! Truly a great place for food, beer, and just good company! Worth the trip!

It's a pub, lost in America. English fish and chips, bangers and mash... all the pub things, but smack dab in America... middle America. Good food. I suggest walley next time, not Alaskan cod in the fish and chips, though... have something from the Midwest. Best fried pickles I've ever had... is that a pub thing?

Welcoming atmosphere. My first time here. I would definitely like to come back to try more entrees. I had the Dragon burger & handcut fries. Both were delicious. I loved the picked peppers on the burger. Also had the draft root beer, so it rounded out the meal.
