Idk how you manage to ruin white rice ….. but they did. Wish that was the worst thing but all of this food was clearly reheated in an industrial microwave and is days old it HAS to be non-consumable literally the biggest waste of money ever. I can’t believe that they are selling these things to people. How are they passing these giant weeks old Boba‘s off as edible food look how disgusting!!!!!!

This place was on our way to an event we were attending so figured we'd pick up reasonably priced food. BEWARE OF REVIEWS!!! This establishment deserves nothing better than a 2 star review. The food was over salted and indeed tasted reheated. I was leery about kitchen practices when then they refused to allow us use of the bathroom after we had to wait longer for a wrong order. By this time, we had paid our bill and had to grab food and run. Our bill was very high for amount of food we ordered! Head to the restaurant next door. Avoid this place!

One of my favorite mom and pop shops for take out. The owners are super friendly, and welcoming; the food is always on point! Everything is super flavorful, and delicious! If you need a quick snack to-go, the bbq pork bun is a must... that’s if you’re lucky if there are any left. The Milky bun is also a great treat.

Love love love. Great Malaysian food at Satay 2 Go. Couldn’t have asked for better. It’s super authentic and brings back nostalgia of my Malaysian days. I am definitely going again.

Always the best! I've been eating here for almost 20 years! Corrine always remembers details of my life and treats us like family! The food is always fresh and tastes like it's made with love ❤️

We moved to Florida several years ago and came to MN to visit family. This was one of our favorite places then. I was so happy to see that not much had changed. Still the best milky buns and Laksa I've ever had. The restaurant is small with very limited seating, but cute and cozy. It's a great place for takeout. The owners treat customers like family and still remembered our names (and our friends) after all these years. We were delighted to see this hidden gem survived COVID. I hope we get to make another pass on this visit.

Small space is easily forgotten once you sip/bite into homemade Laska or Mee Goreng! If your ever in the area try it. You won't be disappointed.

Their fried noodles got the "wok hei" going on, that complex charred aroma that's a level above umami. Tried the Singapore Rice Noodle with Chicken ($10.95) which tasted just like mama's cooking and the Mee Goreng ($10.95) which had an impressive wok hei to it. The Mee Goreng is a little spicy on its own. No Dine-In available for now. Wish they had more "toppings" in their noodle dishes. I was given three very overcooked slices of chicken breast meat in the rice noodle. Overall would try other dishes. Expect a wait on weekends since it can get busy.

Loved the variety of types of Asian cuisine. I'm sure if you come here, there will be a dish that you will enjoy. Also have Chinese bakery items(red bean buns, bbq pork buns) that they say are baked in house daily. All of it was delish and would come back again!

Recently moved to Apple Valley and found this local restaurant gem. There's a pan-Asian mix of offerings from this Malaysian family. My favorite are the excellent char siu bao (pork buns), especially the steamed ones offered on Saturdays. My family has really enjoyed the Aged Tofu, Chicken Satay, and BBQ Short Rib appetizers plus the Singapore Chow Fun and Mee Goreng noodle dishes and House Favorites Chili Shrimp and Korean Bulgogi. Satay 2 Go is a great find!

Saw all the great reviews, so decided to try it and glad I did! The Singapore Chicken Chow Fun was great and very authentic. The Chicken Satay was good too, but portion size felt small. $10 felt steep for a portion size closer to $6. The tea itself from the boba tea was good. Boba was not pleasant, not chewy as expected, but seemed to disintegrate a bit in the drink. Owner was warm and friendly. Would definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

This place is the definition of "hidden gem." Best Laksa in the state. This place is legit. Go here for Singaporean food. I haven't had everything on the menu yet, but this place is worth going back to. Very limited seating, but they do takeout well. Parking is ample. Worth the trek to Apple Valley.

Great food and service. A wonderful family business. This is the place I miss when I am not in the area. Be adventurous, try the sweet roll, you'll be ready to take a knee.

This is where I go when I am craving food from Malaysia. I would be here all the time if I didn’t live 30+ minutes away.

One of my absolute favorites. Fantastic, genuine family restaurant - great customer service. Family is often cooking and will make a point to ask how you'd like it (example - spicy or not) and greet you when you walk in. My go to - laksa and spicy curry soup. The milky buns are also phenomenal! Truly a gem. ❤️

Disappointed about all the good reviews. Food was average. The posted pictures by the counter are all faded. Really hard to see what the dishes look like. It would be nice to update the pictures.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants you haven’t been to yet! I love their Mee Goreng and Gyoza.

AMAZING food! I’ve never found anywhere else quite like this place in MN. I could eat the Mee Goreng everyday and be happy. Satay is also excellent! I would just ask for recommendations and/or eat your way through the menu. There are also these amazing and unique buns and pastries baked fresh. If you’re in the south suburbs, you need to be going here!! If you’re not in the south suburbs, it’s worth a trip for sure!

Absolutely my favorite place when South of the river. I work in Blaine, on more than one occasion I have taken a long lunch just to cruise down and see the amazing owners and staff. Met every time with excellent service and food. Best rice and noodles I have found in my 39 years here.

Phenomenal Malaysian street style food. Cute shop with very little seating, so I've always done takeaway. Every noodle and curry dish I've tried has been excellent. I struggle between trying new items and what I've already had was so good. Don't look past their baked items and sweet buns.

Food quality & taste is very authentic compared to most places in the area. The owners are very sweet & kind. Price isn’t too bad. My go to is the chow fun & chicken satay. I’ve tried most of the buns which are really good as well
