It was delicious. I didn't like the strawberry and banana Dutch pancake as much as I would have liked. I could taste like a meat flavor or something from it? So I wouldn't get that again. My husband had the crepes with the mushrooms and that was tasty. Service was good as well and the bathrooms were clean.

Amazing place for pancakes and much more. Loved the ambience. Our server was very patient and helped to decide order for our toddler who’s allergies to tree nuts. Opted for gluten free to avoid risking allergy considering peanut oil was a key ingredient in most of the pancakes. Gluten free stuff is made separately and with Soya oil. Food was served warm and presentation was excellent, photos aren’t doing Justice at all. Freshly whipped cream, maple and strawberry syrup were paired perfectly with the pancakes. First time ever tried the Dutch pancakes outside Netherlands and totally loved it!! Will return again.

I have never been hear before, and let me tell you one thing. This was the most incredible banana French toast I have ever had. Perfection! I ordered for take out. I also got a side of cheesy hash browns, and they were perfect, biggest and thick side I have seen. I will be telling everyone about this place. Yummmmm!

Second-time here and just as impressed as my initial visit. The pancakes are light, fluffy and scrumptious. The eggs are cooked to perfection and they serve warm maple syrup! I hate when you are served cold syrup. They offer a variety of pancakes, but the original is more than fine. Most things here are a la Carter, so don't just assume your pancakes (unless you order the 4 & 2) come with eggs and bacon. The coffee mugs are works of art and are available for purchase. Very friendly staff here with prompt service.

It has been a while since we stopped by the Original Pancake House. I'm glad you can make reservations online and their texting system was really good. We came in during the labor day weekend and checked-in right away. Our server was driendly and quick. Waters and coffee were toped at all times. I ordered the Northwoods Hashbrowns and it was very good. My husband tired the tomatillo bowl and he liked as well. We finished off with the cherry crepes and they were delicious. The portions were big, so we will have some leftovers. We will come back for sure as their menu is huge!

The food here was wonderful, and the service was fast and friendly. It gets pretty busy after 8am, but they turn over tables fairly quickly, so it is not too bad.

Exceptional food, service and cleanliness. Service by a young woman that has only been there three weeks. This server was everything that my great-aunts in Hayward, WI had taught me to be. Pleasant, calm decor, what more could a guest ask for. We loved our second breakfast out in more than two years because of Covid. Thank you for a lovely dinner experience having breakfast here.

Soooo stuffed! Great pancakes, and omelettes. We got the meat lover’s version of the omelette and their famous pancake; definitely should have gotten the one with strawberries. You need to be prepared to wait 20 to 30 minutes but is why you download movies and shows on Netflix.

I’ll come again!! Liked the food, coffee and decorations/ambience. Cutting one star due to a missing smile on servers face, but I understand!! Overall good experience, better then Edina location.

Absolutely amazing food! I ordered blueberry pancakes with a yogurt parfait and grapefruit juice. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!! I LOVED the blueberry pancakes. They were sooooooo good and it came with blueberry syrup. Absolutely amazing. I would 100% return!!

Not your typical 'diner' experience. Food , coffee, and tea were all great! My husband and I are very picky about breakfast restaurants, and this place delivered. Real maple syrup bottles that are warmed, organic tea, French toast wasn't soggy, and eggs benedict was delicious.

This was the best breakfast ever! Well worth the money. The bacon, omelets, oatmeal, hash browns and of course pancakes were delicious and the portion size was insanely big. We could have split four plates between 6 of us. Our server Lisa was quick, efficient and very friendly. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite breakfast places. I have never been disappointed with the food. Generous portions. Get a Dutch baby. Their bacon is very good. Of course they have great pancakes, waffles, eggs Benedict, waffles...even some lunch options. Limited hours, so check online. You might want to get a reservation because they can get super busy on weekends.

I must admit, I was left unimpressed by their fajita souffle omelette. It was disappointingly overcooked, lacking in both meat and flavor. In comparison, the Maple Grove location shines brilliantly in every aspect. This particular branch feels like a Denny's attempting to go above and beyond but falling short. We went here for a late breakfast, around 12. The place was packed and there was about a 45 minute wait. The wait is worth it, but you should be able to reserve a time online if you'd like for less of a wait ahead of time. I had the diced ham and scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and regular pancakes as the side, it was a large portion and I had to take home about half. It was delicious. The rest of my party had a meat lovers omelette, 49er flapjacks, strawberry pancakes, potato pancakes, and scrambled eggs and ham steak. We didn't leave hungry or disappointed. Everything was amazing and I'd recommend coming to this location for the awesome service and I've never been disappointed with any of the food at any location of The Original Pancake House.

Best place for breakfast. Their soufflés are huge. Honestly, a soufflé comes with three pancakes. Really enough to share with somebody. But everything here is really good with large portions

Wife and I came here on a breakfast date and we both enjoyed our food. This place does get really busy but we came during the week so it was not bad at all. I definitely recommend coming here and trying out their eggs Benedict it did not disappoint

This place is a Minnesota classic. The parking lot is small so it looks busier than it is though. We’ve had great servers every time and my kids enjoy the pancakes and bacon. I love the coffee mugs. Even on the weekend I feel like they are always fully staffed and everyone is friendly, responsive, and just overall good customer service.

You can guarantee that you will have a great experience each time you come here. They have the service and the atmosphere down to a science, and they consistently deliver quality results in both categories. Food leaves room for improvement, but it's overall consistently pretty good, and they are very quick in producing whatever you order, regardless of group size. The food lacks in overall flavor satisfaction, in my opinion, though, but it's never bad, just never great. I never leave here, so I am satisfied that I just had an amazing meal, but that's not why I come here. I come here cause I can be here at basically any time while they're open and never have to wait very long to be seated. Of course, I never go here at peak times, though, so that probably plays into the wait times. The parking situation is rough, never enough spaces to park in their crammed lot, and you end up having to park a ways away from the door typically. Parking is free, though, so I'm not complaining too much, just a thing I've noticed most times I'm here. Go here if you want to drink nice drip coffee and have the classic diner fare experience time and time again. Also our server almost always remembers us and that makes us feel special, so that's another reason to come here. I will be back many more times.

We came here for the gluten free pancakes. Everything was really good. The omelet was huge. They use actual bacon which was nice. The pancakes must have been good because nothing was left when we were all done. The place was packed. We made a reservation and when we got there out was still a 15-20 minute wait. I wish my review could be as great as everyone else’s. Was just here yesterday to Burnsville location for breakfast with my nieces and nephew. Ordered over $50 worth of food. Had to ask for the hot chocolate for my niece that the server never brought out. She never filled our water glasses so we had to ask for that too and to top it off, I was supposed to get 3 pancakes with my corned beef and hash and never got those either. Will unlikely be back or I’ll go to a different location. Either I just had a horrible server or the customer service is actually great....disappointed!!

Let's be honest, it's probably not where the pancake originated, but it's definitely where the pancake was perfected. I fly in from Colorado twice a year and this place always makes the itinerary. I don't know how they do it but they should partner up with bisquick and sell this stuff at walmart- then we will finally achieve world peace. A++

I love this place- it is my go-to for breakfast. However, I think that some prices are unjust. Today I ordered an extra side of bacon. I was shocked to see it was $5.85!!! My meal with eggs, hash browns, and 3 pancakes was only $10.99. I think it is crazy to charge $5.85 for 3 strips of bacon when you can get a whole pack of bacon for less than that at the grocery store. I would for sure recommend this restaurant, but don’t add anything on to your meal because you will get taken to the cleaners!

Yummy breakfast today. Chocolate chip pancakes, veggie omelet souffle, blueberry pancakes, diced ham scramble, banana caramel french toast ...our group was quite pleased! Waitress was excellent! Great sense of humor and attentive despite how busy it was! Overheard it was my birthday and brought a birthday "cake" with yummy strawberries, whip and a lit candle! Fun!!

Wow such an awesome breakfast!! The fresh squeezed orange juice was so fresh and delicious. The berries and fresh whipped cream were awesome. And the omelettes were huge and fluffy with fresh veggies. Blueberry pancakes were also amazing. Great service, super clean, and a nice place to eat. Highly recommend!!! Always SUPER busy, so check in ahead of time through the No Wait app. Make sure you check in with the hostess when you arrive too

Our server was amazing, the wait was short and they promptly seated our family of 6 to a clean table following social distancing rules - They have a great environment and they take every precautions for customer safety and work hard for their clients satisfaction which makes a visit so worthwhile - our experience was hands down 5 Stars - my family and I highly recommend you visit and experience this for yourself.

Why have reservations if you can't fulfill them??????

We were there on Sunday, and the food was great, service was great. I just wish the servers would use gloves. There was no tray, so the server carried 3 breakfasts on her arms, how easy would it be to put her finger in the breakfast. Other wise every thing was wonderful.

My wife and I tried to go here recently and walked out. Their sign in the door says only six guest in the lobby but they had around double that. One family alone had six. It doesn't seem like they care too much about guest's health when the lobby and tables are full with no way to distance.

Crepes were to thick almost a pancake. Corned beef hash made daily was canned and not very good. Host was good and friendly.

Fast service, delicious food, large portions. What's not to love?!
