When Weng's Kitchen moved into Farmington, we were glad to have a great resource for Chinese Food - but we still didn't know just how great their food was. Now years later, after many meals from Weng's, we are regular clientele and often pick-up dinner-to-go there when contributing a dish at a family get together or pot-luck. The ingredients used are fresh and the flavors complete each other well. The chef here is a true and exceptional expert.

Always delicious; meat and veggies are fresh, sauces are perfectly balanced, and the menu is a great mix of the favorites you know and new dishes you really should try. The Tenderloin Steak in Black Pepper Sauce is insanely good - we finally stopped pretending we wanted to share one order and now we just order two. 🤤🤩

Absolutely love the place!! I am new to town and just tried them. The customer service was amazing! The food was even better than that! I would definitely advise you to try them, if you haven’t. They will be my new spot.

Reasonable price, decent portions for take out. Staff was friendly. Chicken wings, Chicken with green beans, beef Lo Mien &Hong Kong style pork chops were on point. Hubby loves his dinner combo. Breading on the salted and pepper seafood was a little tough and hot & sour soup was too thick . We can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

By far, my absolute favorite Chinese takeout! The food has so much flavor. One of the biggest things for me is that their chicken doesn't have that typical dark squishy mystery meat texture. When you bite into the chicken, you can tell its real tender white meat chicken. So GOOD! The staff is always so friendly. Highly recommend!

Im giving wengs kitchen 5 stars because they definitely hit a lot of key points for any restaurant. They had an EXTENSIVE menu ,(now that I live like 3 min away I'll definitely be coming back) , great customer service, and the pricing was beyond reasonable for the portions you receive. I wish the egg drop soup was a little more seasoned, but that's just personal preference. The egg rolls were amazing!!! Crunchy, and they weren't oily like most places. Will definitely return, and you guys keep up the amazing work. Hope I can dine in some day 🙏

Did a pick up order (all they offer currently) and the staff was a little rude. I had a minor modification to my order and the hostess snapped at me. Food was alright; the portion was huge, definetly family size. I believe it's the only chinese food place in the small city so if you want that cuisine you travel or settle for them.

Really surprised by this little place - came here on the recommendation of a coworker. Food was great all around, but the fried rice and egg rolls really stole the show! Found my Chinese food place for the foreseeable future!

Tony and Joanne are amazing. Loved this place since it opened and is a must have every time I come back to visit my hometown. Best Chinese food I have found and nothing I have had since moving away can compare. The rice noodles are to die for and so are the crab rangoons! They go above and beyond for the customers. They helped me with a special request today as a surprise for my mom since I live out of state. They made for one happy momma! I am so glad they made it work! Thanks for the top tier food AND customer service!

I stopped for lunch on Friday last, the restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday… but Take Out ONLY! I ordered 2 Lunch Specials, Sichuan Beef, an Chicken, Refried Rice, Egg Roll an entrees , one Chicken , one Beef both were a lot of Food I could only finish about 2/3 of the Serving, the other was for my Friend… We were definitely going Back !! Realize their Web Page indicates Buffet an Dining, that is no longer available as of 11/12/23… and before! That’s why the ATMOSPHERE is not rated! TAKE OUT ONLY! $9.95 for lunch Specials, Run don’t Walk a Extremely Great Bargain, an Excellent Food!!

The sweetest staff! My mom has celiac disease and Weng’s was very knowledgeable and helpful while I was ordering and told me that they can modify lots of stuff on the menu to be gluten free. It was delicious and the portions are large. 5 stars all around ❤️ Best cream cheese wontons ever.

Let me tell you that this is by far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’ve had it a few times now and every single time is just as delicious (if not better) than before. I drive over 25 minutes each way to get here, and now this is the only Chinese food I will ever eat. Nothing else compares! If you haven’t been here already, what are you waiting for?!

Still remains to be taken out only. The food comes out hot and fresh. Delicious flavors, family favorite is their Walnut Shrimp and Triple Crown dish. Always friendly on the phone placing the order, and the pickup is friendly and fast transaction.

It’s hard to find good “Minnesota Chow Mein”. Happy we found this place from a Facebook post recommendation. Ordered the chicken and chicken sub gum chow mein and both of them were excellent (ready in 10 minutes). Can’t wait to try their lo mein and egg rolls next time. A little pricier than other places but feel it’s worth it. Order early in the day for pickup later or you’ll get caught up in a voicemail loop. It’s hard to get through on their busy phones 4pm and after. Thanks Wengs, we’ll be back!

Egg rolls are fantastic. The sweet and sour pork was wonderful. The pork was so tender that cutting it with a fork was easy. I have lived in Farmington for 25 years and had not tried this place. Glad I did. I would argue this could be the best restaurant in Farmington. Best Chinese food I have had in many years. I will be back regularly.

This will be the last time I ever order food from Wengs kitchen. I have had food from here for many years and the food was always amazing, but this time I ordered sesame chicken with white rice. At first, the chicken and the rice was very delicious, I enjoyed the meal. But a few hours after I went to sleep, I woke up with very bad stomach pains. I was vomiting and I had very bad diarrhea. This was the worst experience I have ever had here and at a Chinese restaurant. I couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night, I felt very sick. I feel like this place uses msg in the food or uses way too much msg. Or maybe food poisoning. The sesame chicken has always been so delicious with the white rice, but unfortunately I will not be coming back here.

Well this was a delicious find! We weren’t even hungry when we walked up to the food truck…three orders of food and unbearable full bellies later, this is a new favorite! We tried one of almost everything and loved it all. So freaking good.

Best Chinese in Minnesota and I’m lucky enough to live in Farmington! I order the chicken delight and sesame chicken every time and it’s amazing! The pad Thai is equally delicious and they’ll accommodate the level of spice to your liking. Fast and efficient service with delicious food. Thank you Wengs!

Worth the Drive and then some! My Sweetheart came across this gem indicating it was Rated #1 by Yahoo! We picked up some Mei Fun and Pad Thai one night as they're carry out only ... which is no big deal! The quality, taste and overall flavor was well worth it! We've ordered several times since. I was able to check out their Facebook page which shows their love for their customers and what they do! It's no secret COVID affected so many businesses to the point of extinction - yet, Weng's has done what they could and can to keep people safe, but their doors open. I strongly advise anyone who loves great Chinese Food to swing down to Farmington and pick some up! I cannot rave enough about this place! What I truly found invaluable was how the Chef knew my order, when I placed it. It was delightful to speak with the Owner who clearly cares not only about his business, but more about his customers. This is a true family-owned and operated business with strong ties and commitment to community. I will be back and Thank You so much for providing such high-quality food despite all of the hurdles suppliers are going through to keep produce fresh for your wonderful recipes! See you soon!

I love this place. I go about 2-3x a month. I just want to also comment about Ira Smith’s review. It’s fake and google should take it down. If you look at the profile it’s the exact same review as the one given to a Chinese restaurant in NY minus a few words reworded.

Great friendly staff and fast. Our families favorite place to eat. Ready in 10 minutes always fresh and taste great! We love the beef and broccoli, sweet & sour chicken and the egg rolls yum!
