This park has really improved in recent years in my opinion. They've added a whole area for native grasses and wildflowers and put in a playground. The nature garden is really cool too. They've also extended the trails and improved areas that needed some work (such as an area of the trail that was frequently flooded)

We would definitely visit again! There was plenty of shade(we visited in the evening). My kids & I especially had fun with the zip line.

This park is mainly known for its hiking trails and for the art house that is located on it but more recently they have added the city of Eagan Nature Park. This wonderful extension of the Patrick Eagan Park is a wonderful way to get your kids playing more with nature and discovering things that maybe they didn't see before. It also has a really cool zip line.

This is the closest park to my house so I've been coming here since I was little. In high school, every year towards the end of the season our cross country team did a "rambo run" just for fun where we all wore costumes and ran on the trails; so I knew them pretty well. After high school I didn't go to this park for several years until the other day. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had significantly improved the entire park. They now have a cool playground with a zip line and stuff for kids to play on such as boulders and large pieces of driftwood, which are also part of an area that has been made into a native species area of grasses and wildflowers. The trails have also been extended which was fun to explore.

Great location for a walk. Definitely feels like being in the middle of the woods even though you're in the middle of Eagan. There's little to no noise from surrounding cars even though the road isn't terribly far away. A few other walkers, but it's a nice location if you want some solitude. The trail can be a quick walk, or loops for longer walks. Beautiful trees and greenery with occasional educational signs. Also, there wasn't any mosquitoes, which normally find me in a short span of time when I go outside.

This is a fantastic natural park. There are nice created features like covered picnic areas and activity areas for kids and a zip-line. But the best part is the trail system that meanders up and down hills around the two small lakes.

What a great experience. We just randomly checked it out for a quick walk outdoors and ended up spending the evening watching deer, looking up prairie plants, and listening to the birds.

This is a great park! Zipline and lots climbing and building for the kids. Beautiful plants to wander amongst.

My kids and I love the recent improvements made to this park. Zipline is unique and well maintained (safety first). Excellent unpaved nature trails with superb views of the lakes. There's even a little library :-)

It's a great hit for the whole family. Kids really really enjoy running around and flying down the zipline like Tarzan's. There's a nice little area to sit and watch anyone and everyone of all ages flying down the zip line if you're too scared you can just sit on the sidelines and watch. I love this park.

A small unique peaceful park that I love bringing my children to play at. (Different things for them to engage with then your stereotypical playground equipment). There is also beautiful paths/trails that lead you right down by the lake which I highly suggest taking advantage of for a relaxing walk!

This is a very unique park! Lots of room to move, under big, shady trees. There is no playground, but there are lots of natural structures, such as tree trunks and stumps to climb. The kids enjoyed exploring and gathering items from the surrounding area like pinecones, acorns, moss and even some snail shells. There are some large faux rocks with a rope structure for climbing and there is a sandbox. The highlight of the park, however, is a large zip line! The kids got a little bored with the tree trunks and other natural structures as there was only so much to do with them, but the zip line was a huge hit.

Hardly traveled trails through wild woods. Saw a large, healthy coyote along trail. I was upwind, so it didn't see me before I saw it. Shared a few moments of respect and wonder before this soul turned and walked back into the woods. Amazing!

Very nice park with lots to do and many trails to walk period definitely worth checking out if you have a little kid.

Accessible easy paved and wooded trails. Beautiful nature play park for creative play and a zip line too! Bring your own sandbox toys! Covered picnic area and a picnic deck! Art park right there too. Very nice. Come here for a change from the monotony of standard play structures and get your kids a little closer to nature. Could hammock here too

A beautiful, sprawling park with plenty of outdoor activities, such as trails, a lake, climbing equipment, and even a zip line! There is something here for people of all ages. The nearby art center is a wonderful option for indoor days as well.

Great little park with trails leading into the woods, a small playground (with a zip line for the kids), and the Eagan Art House that offers classes. Within walking distance of retail, restaurants, and grocery to the south.

Finally got around to visiting this park a few days ago. Not that much trail there, but very pretty and enough up & down hill to get some decent exercise. Definitely be going back regularly from now on.

We had a great time and it cost us nothing. They have a wonderful zip line that was fun for us adults to play on and managable for our 3 year old.

Nice little walking trail around ponds and up some hills. Some of the trail has been washed out a little but manageable. Saw a deer, muskrats, wood ducks, and turtles. Also has a play area for kids, will come back with child so they can test it out.

👍👍 This Trail is absolutely beautiful. The whole Lebanon Hills Regional Park area is an absolute gem tucked away. I love how in Minnesota that you can find places like this hidden in the suburbs. I'm easy to please with Parks and Trails but this is by far the best I've seen that's close to the cities....
