Go alone and at night if you want the full effect of the guardians... delightfully creepy!!! Plus, the feeling of being alone, up high with the eight monumental gentleman clones is increased by understanding it's history. Even at a cursory level, one appreciates the deep concern for humankind that this art deco water tower represents. No admission, no gates, just trample up that hill in Tanglewood.

This is one of Minneapolis' treasures. A sight you won't believe and now on the national historical register, unfortunately the City of Minneapolis refuses to take care of it and it's surrounding lawns. Now it has become a dumping ground for trash. Disgusting! Inaccessible during winter.

This strangely was one of my favorite little spots in a of Minneapolis. I wish all water towers were made as beautifully and creatively as this is. This is tucked into a cute little neighborhood and is completely not what you expect to find in such an area. It's very peaceful and serene.

Cool history of tower, nice neighborhood. Picnic, sure. Crowded, no. Lots of planes if the wind from SE.

Very cool, looks like something out of a movie. Took the kids there and they were absolutely amazed. Definitely worth driving by if you're in the area.

Great spot for Sunrise and sunsets at different times of the year. And it is a cool water tower, but not much else to see or do. Great place to test out various camera apps and features, which is what I did.

Located in a quite residential neighbourhood, this old water tower has knight sculptures holding swords around the base, and eagle statues at the top. There are several paths leading up to the tower and benches around. A quick stop to learn about an old water tower that is still used for water pressure today.

This is not a standard water tower. Have you heard about the airplane crash involved with Washburn Water Tower? Google it..

👍👍 Had a great experience at this stadium watching Rammstein. Security was efficient and friendly. Had some fried cheese curds that were the best I have ever had. Prices for concessions suck though. The concert it's self sounded great. However the music playing before the show could barely be heard....
