Continues to be a beautiful place that I have known since 1975.

Beautiful lake in a very nice area. Had a launch for kayaking, and the water was very calm. I was just visiting, but I would definitely go back. I brought my own kayak but it looked there were kayak and paddle board rental options near by.

Minneapolis is the most beautiful city in the world. I took these photos when there was still some ice on the lakes. I will say that it is during summer and fall when it's the most beautiful. These photos show before the true beauty. When everything is green and súper awesome.

While still busy, it is definitely the quietest and least busy of the three lakes. It's narrow and long, making for a different walling experience. The vibes is a bit calmer and there are areas to rent paddle boards, kayaks, etc. I love the chairs that they have set up around the paths.

Another gem located in the heart of the city, Lake of the Isles Park is a pet-friendly waterside recreational area that connects the channels of Lake of the Isles with Cedar Lake and Bde Maka Ska, where watercraft rental are available. While the Kenilworth Lagoon and Cedar Lake Channel are currently closed to recreational use, they will reopen in spring 2023. This closure is necessary to remove and reconstruct historic retaining walls in the channel that were originally built under the Works Progress Administration. A magical spot. Check it out next year!

Best of the 3 lakes back there as far as kayaking. Brown is secluded . Cedar is nice with beaches included! Isle has its own vibe by far,. Places to park on the shore line for snack and relax.. go enjoy before it's too cold!

One of the top lakes in uptown Minneapolis for running, fishing, and meeting with friends. If you are willing to walk during evening wear long sleeve shirts or using anti insect bite cream. Also it is connected to Bada Maka lake and cedar lake which makes more amazing. If you have bike don't missing this place for a ride.

Sunday...can never go wrong being outside near water, LOTA is a great option with the scenic path. Absolutely perfect Fall day, I hope everyone is able to get out and enjoy the day and the colors before the change in weather whisks all the leaves away.

I actually walked till Lake of the Isles Park from downtown along the cedar lake trail. And from one I took a left and walked inside the neighbourhood. It looks so rich and beautiful! And when I reached the lake I was disappointed at first. But as I started walking around the lake it was beautiful. There were so many people walking, running , biking etc.The walking and biking trail connects you to Lake Calhoun as well. The walking trail pretty long. Its perfect for a walk or a good run. And the greenery around the trail is great for relaxing !!

Beautiful Lake for a morning walk, evening walk or ride the bike because it connects to two other lakes as well.

Photo is neighboring lake Bda Mka Ska. Joining lakes make a ride from 3 to 9 miles to suit your mood and schedule. And they connect to bike paths that go east to the river along Minnehaha Parkway which can extend your ride to 20 miles if you like.

Wonderful trail surrounds the lake. It's a lovely walk and you can look at all the nice homes around the lake. During the summer you can rent kayaks or canoes to explore the lake and the isles.

What a view!❤️💯🔥 Relaxing and peaceful. Concrete trail around entire Isles and old Calhoun/ Bde Maka Ska.

The best dog park in the Twin Cities, with friendly regulars every morning. Two sections: one for small dogs and about 2 acres for larger canines. It's only missing a coffee truck to be perfect!

The natural beauty is insane. Its also very peaceful and quiet. You can canoe and kayak in the lake. In Winter it freezes and they make hockey rinks to play hockey!

Takes 40 ~ 50 minutes to walk around the lake. You can enjoy beautiful scenaries chatting with your family and friends. Fun activities like canoeing and Kayaking also available.

One of the more beautiful and tranquil lakes to bike around in the area. This is a perfect place to stop, sit, and relax without all the sounds of heavy motor traffic. Walk here, bike here, but please dont drive your car here.

Still very pleasant sitting in the grass or on a bench. Been going here since we were kids. The best way to take it in, is on a bicycle. There's a walking path and a bike path. Not wood chips, it's asphalt. If you have the chance, ride around all 3 Lakes. They are connected by the bike paths. A couple of hills but mostly flat.

Fabulous area, full of charming older homes and stunning contemporary ones as well. Winter activities like ice fishing, snow shoeing, ice skating and cross country skiing, combined with people out for winter stroll with family, friends and dogs give this place an exciting and warm air. Go check it out!

👍👍 Had a great experience at this stadium watching Rammstein. Security was efficient and friendly. Had some fried cheese curds that were the best I have ever had. Prices for concessions suck though. The concert it's self sounded great. However the music playing before the show could barely be heard....
