My husband and I got married here in October and we were so pleased with our choice of venue! The location itself is stunning with beautiful gardens and enough space where guests could easily mingle or step away if they wanted. Tracy was an absolute joy to work with! She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and kind. She helped David and I plan the day and she was there to ensure that everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and we had many guests comment on the quality of it. We have zero regrets having our wedding here.

Such a beautiful venue for a wedding! My Daughter was married here followed by a beautiful reception. The various rooms allowed guests to spread out and explore and socialize in various rooms. We began our day upstairs for primping with the hair and makeup stylists followed by a catered lunch for the bridal and groomsmen. A room that was perfect for the luncheon spread was setup and enjoyed by the entire wedding party. The wedding planner in this venue did a fantastic job setting up and flipping the ceremony room and turning it into a reception hall. Everything was sp special and unique that really showed thru in the beautiful pictures we took. The staircase was decorated to perfection and the food was amazing ! Very generous portions that was delicious and an amazing dessert bar setup between the various rooms that gave guests easy access for grab and go. This venue is really a gem for the St. Paul Minnesota bride and grooms. As the mother of the bride, I'm so proud of what our daughter and son-in-law achieved with this very special day!

Came here for a wedding and thought it was a great venue. Definitely better for weddings with under 150 people, but otherwise very nice. Cool interior and nice backyard for ceremony and hanging out. Food, service, etc. was all great. Street parking may also be tricky for guests.

We had our dream wedding here. St. Paul College Club made for the most STUNNING venue and the team there was amazing. If you’re looking for a venue in the St. Paul area with historic charm, this is it. Team - Tracy and her team were exceptional throughout the whole process answering my every question quickly. They made me feel like my wedding was the only event on their books, which for a bride, was reassuring. We had rented the space starting at 9 a.m. and without even being asked the team started helping set up with flowers, table cards and more. During the reception, they came to check on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed – drinks, food, and so much more. They didn’t miss a beat. Before coming to St. Paul College Club, Tracy worked with other venues. She took all the things that are annoyances, problems, and difficult in planning a wedding and made sure that events/weddings were not ran like that here. Food & Drinks – 12/10 – The chef and his team are top-notch. Everyone was served large portions, and the food everyone raved about. Two months later someone was talking to me about the chicken they ate that night, it’s THAT good. They also were accommodating to any allergies and more. We served apps at happy hour which were such a hit too. We loved being able to bring all our own alcohol and worked with their recommended bartending company and everything was PERFECT. Venue – 10/10, the locations, vibes, all of it stunned both in town and out of town guests. Perfect distance to DT St. Paul so did not need to offer transportation, plenty of things to do in the area for out of town guests, and more. Having the entire mansion was also really awesome as we found different groups of guests hanging out in separate areas. The venue is so timeless and beautiful itself that minimal décor was needed which was nice. Transparency – The team is 100 percent transparent. There were no hidden costs/fees or anything which when planning such a big event does put a curve in things, if not disclosed. They also go above and beyond to let you know what they think might be needed given on the wedding size, and more. For example, I wanted two bars and we opted for passed champagne, which was an excellent touch and at a fraction of the cost.

The St Paul College Club is an excellent venue for a wedding celebration. They have multiple rooms to accommodate the various settings whether it is reception, bar or dining room. Highly recommend this venue for the close and intimate wedding experience!

I photographed Dustin + Sarah's wedding at the College Club and I was floored. This venue is *so* elegant. The house itself is the perfect backdrop for photos, it's centrally located, and the backyard patio area is perfect for cocktail hour or an outdoor ceremony. So lovely!

I own Celisia Stanton Photography, and two of my clients held their weddings at St. Paul College Club. This is a gorgeous venue for anyone looking for a more classic and romantic but still very unique feel in their venue. Their getting-ready spaces have tons of gorgeous wood detailing and provided a very warm feel to my client's photos. One of my clients also took advantage of their outdoor space by holding their ceremony in the yard. I highly recommend this venue to any clients looking for a gorgeous venue with stunning indoor and outdoor spaces!

SPCC was such a great choice for our venue. Tracy, the venue coordinator, impressed us with her prompt and positive communication from the beginning. The place is BEAUTIFUL, it feels really classy and genuine and it’s fun to have all these different rooms to explore. It’s so beautiful you could get by without a florist entirely (especially since they offer staircase and ceremony arch flowers internally–you could have no or few extra bouquets). The bar system is another cost-saver, where you supply the liquor and mixers for their talented bartender to work with. I also loved how the venue staff seemed genuinely happy for us after the ceremony–I imagine it would be easy to feel accustomed to weddings when you work multiple each week, but they made us feel special.

Graham and I got married here on Oct 29, 2021 and I highly recommend this venue! Tracy was mostly amazing to work with, the food was delicious, our guests raved about the space and the food, and we had just the best time. We are both attorneys, and we have 16 month old twins so we didn't have a lot of time to spend on wedding details and planning, and Tracy and the other staff made sure everything ran smoothly, and really took all the stress out of wedding planning. The venue is so beautiful that you don't need any additional decorations. Edit to add: I still highly recommend this venue so I'm not changing my star rating but there are a few things that could help SPCC throw even better events for future couples. First, on the day of the wedding, Tracy mispronounced our names repeatedly (Ava and Grant." That's not the sort of thing that bothers Graham and I but some of our parents were very annoyed and found it unprofessional. I thought with a garden wedding that a runner to walk on would be included but it's not. I'm not sure if I missed this in the pricing bc we would have added it on if we had realized it wasn't included, especially given there was mud out there that day. While I didn't need much bc things were running so smoothly, the two times I did need something, I had to search and search for staff members. We were supposed to take 15-20 min upstairs and staff would bring us plates of food so we could eat together in private but no one ever brought us the food. A few small wrinkles in an otherwise amazing day!

I photographed a wedding here in October and loved every second. The facility is stunning inside and out, with classic character everywhere you look. The reception space is intimate but the real delight (for me) was the backyard space where the bride and groom held their ceremony. The light filtering through the trees that afternoon was gorgeous and this is by far one of the prettiest outdoor ceremony spaces I have photographed. I hope to return soon for another beautiful wedding!

As a wedding planner and florist, we recently had the opportunity to design a styled shoot with SPCC as our backdrop. It's the perfect setting for intimate ceremonies and receptions! Love the updates they've done recently. Such an elegant venue with great staff!

My employer had a annual holiday party here. Awesome atmosphere, food was excellent, service was top notch! We had a murder mystery event while we were there, and it was lots of laughs and loads of fun. We will look for opportunities to return.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at SPCC. The venue, staff, and events that happen there are above and beyond amazing. We had a June wedding and everything went exactly as planned. Tracy was an incredible communicator, decisive and clear planner, and amazing presence on the day of. She made sure everything went off without a hitch and ensured my husband and I had an incredible night. The food was also incredible considering how many folks they had to feed. Don’t think twice about booking here!

Very beautiful venue with an excellent space for the ceremony, cocktail, and dinner. The dinner is phenomenal! Staff are super friendly and accommodating especially the coordinator! Hopefully I get booked here or invited to another wedding here again in the future!

Beautiful venue for a wedding! Wedding was held out of doors. Everything was well organized. Just like a fairy tale!!!!

I attended a wedding here. Food and service; excellent with a nice atmosphere. I didn't care for the fact that the only parking available is in the street and a swath of that is off limits since this place is next door to the governor's mansion.

SPCC was an amazing space for our wedding. Everything from the venue, to the staff, to the food was perfect for our day. Tracy, the event coordinator was instrumental in helping us plan our day to go off perfectly from afar. So many of our guests came up to us over the course of the night to compliment us on our choice of venue. Loved everything about it!

My husband and I got married at the St. Paul College Club in April and it was a wonderful experience. While there were a few communication snafus during the planning process, Tracy, the venue coordinator, was quick to address our concerns and promised everything on the day-of would be perfect. She and the whole team (catering, bar tenders, etc.) at the College Club really delivered. Our day was magical and the venue and food were highlights for us and our guests. We chose to do a cocktail style reception and the space lent itself so well to that relaxed yet classy vibe. The food was amazing and we were glad to have so much say in the menu. We chose to serve an entirely vegetarian menu and had some other dietary needs to consider and the chef and team did a wonderful job. I would recommend the St. Paul College Club to anyone looking for a stunning, versatile venue with a perfect location for out of town guests (5 miles from the airport). Thank you Tracy and team for such an unforgettable experience!
