Everyone I've met here has been very nice and welcoming. I've just started a pottery class and I am really enjoying the vibe of the studio. I appreciate cleanliness and order.

Minnetonka center for Arts has unique items, as in jewelry, paintings, scarves, ceramics and much more.

I took the introductory to ceramics course and I enjoyed it. This facility is well funded and it shows. Lots of passionate people working on what they love.

The Multi-Generational classes are really fun. I did them when I was little with my dad and recently I did one with my mom. Its enjoyable at any age and they have a lot of classes to choose from. Sometimes the instructors are lack luster but I have never had a bad one! Very relaxed usually.

My son attended a painting party. It was so much fun! Artist Carly first had the children sketch their lake scape on paper and then transfer it to watercolor paper. Many of the suns had sunglasses šŸ˜Ž and sunsets! I enjoyed free WiFi during the party too. Thank you for a great time!

I did my daughter's 5th birthday here. I don't suggest it! The kids did an underwater themed art project with paints and markers with an "instructor." But she didn't really teach the kids anything. She did not have any classroom management skills; parents had to get the kids on track and calm. When my daughter wanted help drawing a mermaid, the teacher told her to "do her best." So, my daughter didn't even do it. I couldn't help her because I was nursing my baby and I thought that's what we paid for. No step by step guidance or even showing her how to copy one of the multiple mermaid decorations we had. It was basically $165 room rental fee. Any parent could've been the "teacher." I expected her to be demonstrating what to do and showing them how to draw sea animals. We also lost an expensive mermaid balloon to the top of the ceiling and staff didn't want to help us get it down. I had to ask three different people for help. Nobody seemed to care. The teacher told me the front desk staff was working on it, but when I went out there, they had no solution. I asked if they had a ladder we could use and they didn't want to let us use it because it could be a "liability." I said we would sign a waiver. We were finally able to use the ladder after she called the director. No soap in the bathrooms. I had to tell them about that. Hardly any parking for our guests because there was two big buses of people leaving from the site to go on a home tour, which I wasn't informed of.

Nice building, but disappointed today that their art gallery displaying art for sale isnā€™t open until February 7; even though their website seems to suggest they always have artwork for sale. Gift shop wasnā€™t much and the two employees who worked there were somewhat grumpy, not pleasant, and seemed perturbed they had to answer my basic few questions, even though I was about the only member of the public in the facility. People who are not pleasant have no love of God. Where are artists without God ? I wonā€™t be back.
