I arrived and parked a pickup with a trailer. Was told by manager. I couldn’t park on property. I’d have to park behind a shopping center, or in McDonald’s parking lot. Then cart my things across the parking lot. When later that evening they allowed another pickup with a longer trailer hauling two boats. To park in the same place I originally parked. Because of the parking situation I had to leave much earlier than I wanted to. Hotel was clean and comfortable budget style like most motel 6 are. Just staff was inconsistent and rules seem to be spur of the moment decisions not actually rules. Very unprofessional

Horrible horrible experience. When we entered the room, there was hair on the sink as well as towel. But the biggest issue was that starting 6a.m there was constant opening and shutting of doors and employees talking loudly. They did not care to keep it low. Most importantly the reception staff failed to let us know that we were getting room by cleaning/maintenance closet.

Caveat this was significantly cheaper than any of the other area hotels. We literally just slept there so didn't need a lot of amenities. Room is austere..not even a picture on the wall but was clean and quiet. We had a 2nd floor room. Negatives were no shampoo, the blankets are very thin and although we had a non smoking room the hallway reaked of smoke

Price was good. Staff was good but room sucked. Tv was digitized and had no TV to watch. Floors uncomfortable. Hot water was only Luke warm and the bed killed my back. Probably won't revisit. No continental breakfast

Exceptional friendly and helpful. Rooms VERY nice, clean, decent amount of space. I travel everywhere with my service dog but Please to see they are regular pet friendly and even gave him a complimentary doggie bone

excellent location, best room rates for comfortable stay, room had fridge and microwave. Coffee & hot chocolate at lobby. Friendly front desk staff. It snowed all night and at morning when I stepped out, walkways & parking lot was already plowed.

Cleaner than most, gentleman that checked me in was kind however the next day the fire alarm went off had to evacuate and the woman at desk was rude . Being it was below 0 and I had to grab my cat and belongings and it was just past check out I decided I might as well leave she would not check me out and charged another night stay. There’s way more to this but it was rude unnecessary. I have worked this industry for years and for nicer chains and gladly would have refunded a person in my shoes. I will not stay in a motel 6 ever again ! They have either been disgusting, or rude

Enjoyed a 2 room suite for 2 nites...nice and clean and really quiet for being full. Only issue was no coffee makers in the rooms and no complimentary bottles of shampoo. Otherwise a great stay!!!

Fantastic front of desk staff,room very clean but basic no coffee/tea machine or refrigerator coffee available from 6am-10am only.

Very good stay. The room could have done with a few minor fixes but overall the room was clean and comfy. I stay here every year at this time and will continue to do so in the future. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay! We stay here at least once or twice a year, it's nice to see some updates to the motel. The staff is fantastic and the place is very clean and comfortable. We will be returning in the spring for our next trip!

I would not recommend this hotel for families with children. Upon arrival a man who looked as though he was intoxicated came out and asked my husband for a ride to the liquor store. It made me very uneasy. Then we find out he is staying a few doors down. Our section was supposed to be the non smoking section and the hallway smelled strongly of cigarette and weed. The front desk lady was very nice even helped us get a discount. The room although worn was pretty clean. I don't expect much from a motel 6 and we were just passing through. Maybe the circumstances were not particularly the motels fault but I just would not recommend for families with children.

Lots of mold on the air conditioning unit. Awful smell coming from it. Obviously did not happen all of a sudden... Just dodge this entire place and spend the extra 20 dollars.

Motel 6 is consistently a clean and safe place for a night's rest. I appreciate the veteran's discount.

This is a decent motel 6. I have stayed in quite a few on this trip so far and this one is not bad. The rooms are clean and nice and there’s food in walking distance.

The place is in a nice lil area of lakeville. It’s just far enough away from the center of lakeville so it’s quiet and secluded but close enough so it’s not a far drive to everything. For a motel 6 it’s very nice and clean plus I felt safe with my 1 year old walking and following me instead of me having to carry her cuz I’m too scared of her getting snatched up (like I do at the one in St. Paul). It’s a very fair price for what you get so if you’re on a budget it’s perfect for you. I also got a free goodie bag of water and snacks when I left which has never happened at any other hotel (even the high end ones) I’ve stayed at so that’s great. The service is also fast and efficient. I’m moving out of state in a couple weeks but I definitely plan on coming back here before I leave.

I’m not sure of the guy who helped me at the front desk but I all I have to say is his patience is unmatched. He could tell I was a little upset but he reassured me every time that it will be just fine. He got me the room I wanted and the hospitality was terrific.

Best value in my experience. Older building with that old stale tobacco smoke smell (like every motel) but decently clean and functional. First room smelled strongly of tobacco and some chemical smell but they changed our room immediately and without issue. If you’re in the area and just looking for a decent bed to lay down for a night or two then you can’t beat this motel 6.

Not my first time staying here, and am always happy to see Lilliana is working during my stay. If there is ever an issue, she always fixes it with a smile on her face. If I could give more than 5 stars to her I would!!

Stay this motel 6 last weekend and 2 weeks before. First time was because of early flight at 5.40am witch got cancelled and reschedule for next day. So went to front desk and she was busy cleaning rooms plus waiting on people and I come in and 4 people behind. So told her I needed another day could I do it without moving room and same rate. Yes at first but she could make it work on the computer so told me I had to pay the higher rate but would give me the senior rate. Which was $25.00 more still. I had the corporate rate before. Told her I would come back later when she had more time and said no be same rate and didn't only have couple room left. Later that afternoon I watch 4 people check in and 3 that evening and some were on first floor with family's. The place was very nice and poeple actually pick up after there dog. I had 2. They need to scrub there floor little better and not just them. I go to motel 6 because of the 2 dogs and no extra charge. And I THANK YOU for that. But since they remodeled and put in would floors I wipe up the dogs water that they spill from there dish and the towel is brown and some other have been just black. Over all I still like going to motel 6's since they have remodel all but one we stayed in the last 10 year's. Which is 2 to 3 a year. Never had any problems with with adding a day and getting corpate rates. Thank you and have great day.

Mrs. Susan was an excellent representative. I will totally recommend this Motel 6 to all truck drivers. Liana was also a super helpful person this morning assisting me in getting my truck started. Good job Motel 6 on these two employees.

We came in at 2am needing a place to sleep for the night. The room was very clean. The staff was welcoming and wonderful. The price was good. It was close to the interstate. East to access. If we ever come back this way and need a place to stay, we would stay here again.

Absolute Excellence at this location! I have traveled a lot through the years and let me say, I have also stayed at a lot of Motel 6 locations, This location has absolutely everything I need, want and it is ran by extremely professional and Management, Her name is Leslie shes a sweetheart and has been absolutely accommodating to the fullest of her ability and I have even rebooked multiple times because she is so nice, Her staff goes out of their way to make me happy with all of my requests I am so very happy to have had the time to stay at this Motel 6,Thank you Leslie. Even though it has a great number of vending machines on the upper and lower levels as well as functional ice machines (I have been at a couple hotels not just Motel 6 which the Ice was very far outside and when I get to it, its out of order)Also it is so close to everything I needed, There is a great place to eat BBQ within crawling distance, The Holidays Gas station has a great selection of groceries, McDonald's I could probably throw a rock and hit the front door... This is just hands down the best location to book a room, Not to mention the price for the room is absolutely lovely for the qualities and amenities, The Housekeeping is also so nice and gentle and do a very good job cleaning and they are very respectful. I will be coming back in the future 100%

The tub has some brownish stains on it as if it was some type of mold.. didnt have any soap or shampoo in the room the floors was dirty as if they mopped with dirty water and the toilet was as if they didnt clean it before making it available to public

Just left. First noticed the mold in the bathroom. Men outside drinking beer until 3am the first night and 11pm the 2nd night. My 17 year old daughter was approached by the men and I had to accompany her to our vehicle each time. This morning I was awakened by bottles breaking. Then stepped on wet carpet when I went to the vending machine. We won't be visiting again.

At check in we had requested a handicap room. She thought a room across the hall might be more comfortable. Let my husband look at it and it was better. Let us know what was across the parking lot to eat and what she liked. That's excellent customer service. Really loved the wood floors! Never know what is in the carpet at other hotels. Very basic but you don't need all that decoration. A really pleasant check out with the same gal that checked us in. Remembered our room number and everything.
