I
checked
into
this
hotel
on
7/28/2022.
The
hotel
smelled
like
stale
cigarette
smoke
throughout,
something
to
be
mindful
of
if
you
have
allergies,
asthma,
or
just
do
not
enjoy
cigarettes.
The
carpet
in
our
room
was
dirty
with
visible
crumbs
and
dirt.
The
beds
were
oddly
placed,
instead
of
being
side
by
side,
one
was
at
the
foot
of
the
other.
Two
queen
beds
were
fit
into
a
room
that
was
not
suited
for
two
beds.
There
was
a
hole
in
the
ceiling
of
the
bathroom
of
the
room
we
were
in,
room
108.
The
bathroom
was
also
very
small.
The
A/C
was
not
on
when
we
arrived
in
the
room
and
when
I
turned
it
on,
it
smelled
mildewy.
The
next
morning
7/29,
we
spoke
with
the
front
desk
rep,
Natalya,
she
said
since
my
mother
received
a
veteran's
rate,
we
could
not
receive
a
refund
if
we
shortened
the
stay.
For
background
my
mom
has
an
auto
immune
disorder
and
severe
allergies
and
the
cigarette
smoke
and
mildew
smell
from
the
A/C
was
agitating
her
respatory
system.
Natalya
did
say
she
would
have
housekeeping
service
the
room
and
vacuum
or
move
us
upstairs
to
the
2nd
floor.
My
mom
asked
to
be
moved.
She
said
they
would
not
be
able
to
accommodate
the
room
change
until
after
12
PM
when
the
housekeepers
arrived.
We
went
to
Minneapolis
to
enjoy
the
day.
When
we
returned
from
our
day
out
exploring
Minneapolis
around
4PM,
not
only
could
we
not
be
moved
to
another
room
but
the
room
we
were
in
was
not
cleaned
at
all.
The
towels
we
had
left
on
the
bathroom
floor
were
still
there
and
the
beds
were
not
reset
and
the
carpet
had
not
been
vacuumed.
Because
of
my
mother's
health
we
left
the
hotel
and
relocated
to
the
Comfort
Inn
Airport
in
Bloomington.
This
was
in
the
same
line
of
hotels
but
significantly
higher
in
quality.
I
was
disappointed
in
the
state
of
the
hotel
and
how
their
representatives
handled
the
situation.
