We’ve been sending our kids to Mini-Hops for the past 10+ years. My daughter attended rec classes and has been on the Xcel team for the past 5 years. My son attended the academic preschool. I appreciate that they are a non-profit. They are a well-run gym— organized, provide consistent communication and they have long-tenured staff. My daughter has learned many skills, both on and off the mat and has made lifelong friends at Mini-Hops.

We love Mini-hops! I started taking my son Jackson to classes this summer and my daughter also attends their preschool. I only have good things to say about both experiences. For the trampoline and tumbling class, the coach Ryland keeps the kids moving the whole time—they really get a good workout. My son always enjoys going which says a lot! He’s learning new skills and I feel better about him jumping on our own trampoline now b/c I think he has better body awareness even as he’s doing more difficult tricks. The women who run the preschool are also fantastic. I can tell they really care about my daughter’s well-being and they seem to enjoy their jobs. The kids all look very happy. I plan to continue with both preschool and gymnastics classes for both kids into the foreseeable future.

We have had a wonderful experience with Mini-hops. Both our daughters take gymnastics classes and the class schedules allow us to have them in class at the same time. The coaches are great. They help each child move at their own pace while still encouraging them to try new things. Highly recommend and we will keep sending our kids here.

We love Mini Hops! It’s a tad frustrating to get into but I feel everywhere has been that way since Covid. We are mostly in the younger kid stage, but all the teachers are phenomenal and they learn so much!

I have been bringing my kids to Mini Hops for years, my daughter started when she turned 2 (now 4) and my son, 2, just started up as well. The kids have a great time every week, ever coach we've worked with has been great with the kids, good communication, and gives so much 1:1 attention to each child. The staff has always been helpful with working with schedules, answering questions, etc. I personally feel the cost is reasonable for the content of the lessons, too. My son was struggling at the beginning and the coaches took the time to determine how he would learn and grow best and he has gotten stronger and more confident every week. Both of my kids jump for joy on Hops day and even practice their gymnastics more at home than ever before. Definately would recommend to anyone!

We are very happy to be able to send our kids to Mini-Hops! We have one child who does summer camp and classes and one child in the Adaptive Gymnastics program. The facility is really huge and all of the coaches we have met so far are great. Our son loves the camp. The camp is a good value for all that is provided even though it costs about 25% more than a park district, school district and day care center camps we looked at. The Adaptive Gymnastics program is an invaluable resource for the community area. Dani, our child’s coach is caring and engaging. The adaptive classes are 1:1 and work out to about $50/hr, which is pretty typical for therapeutic services. Mini-Hops adaptive programs can be paid for through disability waiver programs. I only wish they could have a little bit more open gym or other more flexible opportunities, but I completely understand why they don’t have them (cost, liability, Covid etc.)

Great experience for a beginner! Only con is that their popularity means it’s tough to get a spot for most classes, even when signing up at the earliest available time. Overall though, a great business.

My daughter loves going to the classes there. She has just started to take gymnastic class in fall 2021 and we can see that she had made a lot of progress for a beginner. She likes the instructors and all the fun "games" they get to play in classes.

My daughter loves mini hops! She's always excited to go and loves the variety each week brings. We're looking forward to enrolling our youngest when she's a little bigger.

Both my kids have gone here. The youngest still takes classes. He loved the 2-yr-old classes with coach Aaron! These classes give children valuable opportunities to grow in their coordination which I feel also accelerates their speech.

We love both the Mini-Hops gymnastics program and the Mini-Hops academic preschool! We’ve had two children go through the preschool program over the last 5 years. Miss Kris, Miss Cyndi and the other staff have prepared my children extremely well for kindergarten. A perfect balance of education and physical activities in the gym. The gymnastics program has been around since I was a kid and is well known in the Twin Cities for its exceptional program. My girls have learned concrete gymnastics skills that they can build on over the coming years. We’ve had a handful of great instructors, all of which are kind and patient during our first two years in the program. We look forward to many more fun years at Mini-Hops!

The coaches are wonderful! They care about the gymnasts and make it a point to get to know them and work with them on an individual level. My daughter has developed valuable skills as well as confidence over the past few years she’s been at Mini-Hops.

We have had kids from ages of 1 to 9 in a variety of classes at Mini Hops. The kids really enjoy it, and it has been so helpful for developing general sports & social skills, building confidence, strength, and athleticism to name a few. Highly recommend!
