I’m not one to write bad reviews but this out a bad taste in my mouth…Horrible service and management of the hotel. I called this location early the morning of check in and said I was going to have later arrival that night. I get there once my plane lands about 10:30pm and the doors anre locked with a guy at the desk. I knock about 10x before he finally decides to open the door and I was told that my reservation (booked by a company) was not available that they were over booked. They sent me to a different hotel and told me to come back the next day. Two minutes later another a guy comes in , checks in and gets his room no problem. Make that make sense. Made me feel humiliated and singled out . . Why my room??? What a horrible way to conduct business and operate as a hotel. I traveled all day and have a full day of work the next and have to just now settle into a room to pack up and come back tomorrow,??? I told them to go and kick out whoever was staying in my room…My reservation was made months ago-how does that make sense?? Unless they sold it to someone else?? Absolutely ridiculous. Manager Aaron said it wasn’t his problem/fault and at first tried to make me pay my way to the other hotel. They will be providing me rides since this was not my fault. Highly disappointed and really started my work trip in a horrible way.. Will not recommend anyone to stay here or book travel at this location.

Beautiful new hotel with great staff! Everything was extremely clean and well maintained, and you can tell the staff cares a lot about their job and the hotel itself. The rooms are very spacious and well-insulated from noises, both from the road outside and other rooms. The style of the hotel is really beautiful, by far the best Residence Inn I’ve seen, and I’ve seen quite a lot. I would absolutely stay here again!

Brand new hotel that has a ton to offer. I stayed in a king 1 bedroom suite, and it was super spacious. The amenities are fantastic.the spa located outside was incredible. Even though it was cold on my trip, the spa was so warm and relaxing. Best spa I have ever been in by far! I stay at least 75 nights per year in Marriott hotels and this one is on the top of my list. Thank you, Residence Inn, for a fantastic experience

Do yourself a favor and book Residence Inn Brea for your next stay. Marla, Luis, Mario, among others, were all extremely kind, professional, accommodating, and really go above and beyond with customer service. The gym is brand new, the rooms are so clean thanks to the exceptional housekeeping, & the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Great place to stay if you’re in town for Disneyland, work trips, etc. 10/10 recommend!

Pros : 1) Conveniently located. 2) Very clean everywhere 3) Amply spaced rooms/suite. 3) Representative during night check-in was lively & enthusiastic, whereas daytime seemed busy in their tasks. Cons: 1) Would have loved to have vegetarian or vegan options for breakfast. 2) Would have been convenient if additional working table/chair was available. It was hard for both me & my wife to work.

I booked my stay for a week in March. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. The pool area was well-maintained and impeccably clean, providing a refreshing and enjoyable experience.

Love a new hotel, Everything looked perfect, modern, and clean. The room was so big, with a living room and kitchenette. We had what we needed, comfort. Located in a perfect area, with so many dining choices .

Did an extended stay here (2+ weeks). This is a brand new hotel with great pool/spa amenities and in a great location. If you need internet, plan on using a hotspot. They charge $5 a day for a max 30 mbps connection (when no one else is using it) and call it premium internet. And there are a lot of business types staying at this hotel. Housekeeping needs help. When you ask for cleaning service, they offer a "refresh" which is just towels and trash pickup. When you finally manage to get cleaning service after asking several times, it is lackluster: they do not dust, and half the countertops were not wiped. I ended up grabbing a towel and wiping counters down myself. Shower is not sealed and leaks all over the floor. Shower door is not level and slides shut when you are trying to leave it open. Bathroom door is not level and swings shut when you are trying to leave it open. Breakfast is good but they almost never have potatoes. I really wanted to like this hotel since it is new and has a lot of positives, but the quality of service still needs work.

Our occupancy at this facility started the same week as the soft opening. This means we were able to observe the staff make adjustments to meet guests needs. In my opinion, they handled it well. It's safe to say that we weren't the typical guest and ended up staying during the remodel of primary residence. However, the staff understood why we were there and did their best to make it like home. We had the one bedroom suite. If you like to cook in, be sure to ask about the room configurations available. There are some suites that have stoves with ovens. The facility has a large laundry. If you forgot your change -no problem; just stop by the front desk. Yes, there is an ATM available on site. The location was great. We observed many smiling faces after their visit to the Disneyland parks. Also this location is across the street from the Brea Mall, a very large Target, Sprouts, Cheesecake factory, In &Out Burger and BJ's. (And many more) In addition Bank of America; Wells Fargo and Chase Bank are one block away. The pool is fun and the grounds are clean and have gas grills for those days when you want a homemade burger. I forgot to mention the in-house breakfast that has many offerings, including some of the best waffles, omelettes, cereal and milk and oatmeal. Best of all, there's lots of parking.

I recently had an extended stay at Marriot, and I am compelled to share my experience, which was unfortunately riddled with numerous problems and lapses in service. The following issues greatly impacted our stay: 1. Marriot Rewards Exclusion: We were dismayed to learn that booking through our credit card company meant that none of our reservation dates would be eligible for Marriot rewards points. This restriction was not made clear during the booking process, leaving us feeling disappointed and excluded from the benefits we expected. This has not been a problem at other hotels. 2. Inconsistent Incidental Charges: The handling of incidental charges was marked by inconsistency and misinformation. Initially, we were charged $20 per night, as communicated by the hotel. However, during the second segment of our stay, the charge abruptly increased to $50 per night. When we sought clarification, the front desk staff insisted that the charge had always been $50, contradicting their earlier communication. This inconsistency in charging practices raised concerns about transparency and trustworthiness. 3. Erroneous Parking Charges: It came to our attention that we were incorrectly billed for parking, despite not having a vehicle during our entire stay. We had to proactively inform the front desk about this error to have the charges reversed. Had we not diligently reviewed our credit card statement, this mistake would have gone unnoticed, highlighting a lack of attention to detail on the hotel's part. 4. Misleading Checkout Confirmation and Erroneous Charges: Upon checkout, we specifically confirmed with the front desk that we had incurred no additional charges. However, to our shock and dismay, we discovered a few days later an erroneous charge of over $400 on our credit card statement. Rectifying this situation required us to contact the hotel directly and request a reversal of the charges. Such a fundamental breakdown in communication and accounting processes is highly concerning and speaks to a lack of professionalism and accuracy. 5. Privacy Invasion by Housekeeping: On a particular day at around 9 am, we experienced a disturbing incident involving housekeeping. After a single knock on our door, the staff member proceeded to immediately open our room door without warning or seeking permission. This invasion of our privacy left us feeling shocked and violated. The staff member offered a hasty apology and left without providing any explanation for their actions, further adding to our unease. 6. Insufficient Room Cleaning: Throughout my stay, the rooms were rarely cleaned, despite requesting cleaning services. When I inquired, the staff informed me that they only provided room service every 3-4 days. Even when I specifically asked for the room to be cleaned, they only exchanged towels without changing the linens, which fell short of basic cleanliness expectations. The occurrence of these issues, despite our efforts to double-check details with the front desk, is unacceptable. The resulting consequences, including wasted time and unnecessary effort on our part, tarnished what should have been an enjoyable and stress-free stay. In light of these experiences, I urge Marriot to conduct a thorough investigation into these matters, address the deficiencies in their service, and provide appropriate training and oversight to ensure such errors are not repeated. As loyal customers, we expected a higher level of professionalism, accuracy, and respect for privacy. It is my hope that by sharing this review, Marriot takes our concerns seriously and implements measures to rectify these shortcomings, thereby improving the overall experience for future guests. The only positive aspect of this hotel is that the facility is quite new and the location is convenient.

Super clean! The rooms are large and the decor is very nice. The fitness room is a good size with a variety of equipment you can definitely do a full work out here. The pool looked nice. They always have a laundry room with higher end machines. The complimentary breakfast had variety and was a nice option.

I have now stayed here twice and it is absolutely fantastic. Where do I start? The rooms are huge and feel like apartments with kitchens dining rooms a living room a large bedroom and a large bathroom. Kitchens are well appointed too with dishes, dishware, etc. The complimentary breakfast is the best I've seen. You can tell they put thought into their guest experience. I used the gym everyday and that was very well equipped with everything you could want. Service is very friendly and they do allow pets, but with a hefty pet fee. The location is walking distance to a few restaurants and Target and a shopping mall are right across the street. Disneyland is just s short drive or Uber away.

I am a member of BKSCA in Brea. Once a month, we go to the restaurant on the lobby. The food and the vibe are so wonderful. We love it. Lindsey is in charge of the food. She is very good at it and so thoughtful. The food is so great and very high-quality. We will go there more often.

The good: hotel was well-kept and the staff was great. The bad: dogs were EVERYWHERE. The hotel website said it was "dog-friendly"...but this felt more like a dog hotel that was "human-friendly".

Stayed here 3 nights early August 2023. Very nice hotel. Clean, good location and pretty rooms. The front desk, though, was not very friendly. They always looked bothered. I did see them deal with some difficult guests, and seemed understaffed. I’d stay here again.

Given an option would have given zero stars. Upon check in front desk says the room for which I paid is not available and rather than offering an upgrade , he was giving me a one king room and that 4 Adults need to adjust in that. The other option I was given was a refund and the expectation is I should search another hotel at 11 pm at night with my entire family. Eventually after 45 mins of argument, the room which I had booked all of a sudden became available (don’t know how) and me and my family were allowed in the room at 11:45 pm at night. If that was not the end of your nightmare, Check in to the room and you find a cockroach on one of the beds.Pathetic hotel and even worse service. NOT RECOMMENDED!
