As far as food in the Dells goes, Mexicali Rose was pretty good! My husband and I got fajita platters - steak and carnitas. Both had a very satisfying sizzle and were flavored well. The steak was a bit tastier than the carnitas though in my opinion but both are great options. Also, we were sat by a window and the lakeside views were so pretty!

We loved the food, service, atmosphere, and location. It has a gorgeous view. Hostess was amazing and helpful. Waiter was very good, respectful and knowledgeable of menu items. I would give a 6 stars on Cleanliness and general experience. I attended few pictures. We ordered Taco salad, Smothered burrito, Mayan Mexican rice bowl, Guacamole and queso. They were all delicious.

We are in from out of town. Stopped in to check their menu and their hostess was so warm and kind, we had to eat dinner there. Our waiter Rizwan, was over the top kind. Checked on us throughout and answered every question we had. All four of us ordered something different and all agree the ingredients were very fresh. My rice bowl was nice and spicy with delicious pico and corn. If I were a local, this would be in my standard choice list of restaurants for going out with family or friends.

This place is amazing! First i want to mention that I was a customer of the restaurant as well as an employee. Both experience made me feel amazing. The whole restaurant team from manager to servers bartenders cooks etc are very professional. They are very attentive to the wishes of the clients, in this restaurant they work with love, all employees being friends. The management is always attentive to employees, making them come to work with joy in order to bring the same state of mind to customers.

Food was tasty and inexpensive considering the location. Very reasonably priced cocktails and tacos, loved the traditional margarita. The chips and guacamole were good as well. Our server Anastasia was nice and the service was quick. Would come back.

A meal I will be thinking about for a long time! I had the carne asada tacos and I would bottle the sauce up and bring it home with me if I could. My husband had the steak and shrimp fajitas and liked it as well. Great margaritas here and an incredible view from the patio as well.

Stopped in one night after the lower dells boat tour for a quick drink at their outside bar, the bartender kinda seems annoyed with some of the guest, he then came an asked us what we wanted and before we could answer he walked away and went inside, once he came back I had to get his attention to place an order. He was not friendly, or pleasant. We stopped back the next night for dinner only because we had our score card from pirates cove and I owed my husband a drink. But this time we decided to sit inside and have dinner, our server was nice and friendly, the place was clean, they sat us by the window over looking the river. The food was good, the prices were decent and the drinks were great. We are glad we gave it another try.

Was a bit skeptical of going based on the other reviews but I don't think it was as bad as some of the reviews made it seem. Our food was good and our margaritas were tasty. The salsa and rice were bland but our tacos were very flavorful, service was good. The view was amazing and the atmosphere was the main reason we wanted to dine here. All around a good experience.
