I’m from Chicago and this was my first time coming to this restaurant and I cannot believe the lack of respect this restaurant had for me and my family. Brittany was our waitress and she was SO slow. They made our food incorrectly (we are vegetarians) so obviously we asked for it to be remade. Brittany and this other waiter, Phil, had the audacity to stand right next to us and talk smack about us. We overheard them saying “should we just grill some veggies and throw it on top of their food?” My brother in law turned and said “Are you really going to talk about us while we are sitting right here?”, they looked at us, rolled their eyes, and continued. THEY CONTINUED talking about us. Overall we asked to speak to the owner, they refused to give us her contact information (whose name is Sarah). I am going to keep this employees name undisclosed, but after seeing what was happening, they came over to us and quietly told us this happens all the time. To be honest, I can handle bad food, but when it comes to poor customer service and downright disrespect— very disappointed. Luckily, my fiancé recorded the entire interaction including where PHIL yelled at my aunt “BE QUIET, stop interrupting me” when she was speaking in a different language to another family member at the table. We will be posting this video on social media so this restaurant can get the attention it deserves.

Always amazing food, drinks and exceptional service! Never disappoints! The staff is so fun, attentive and professional! Where else can handsome Joe bring a flaming drink to you on his HEAD & not spill a drop! Our server, Roslyn, was so sweet and made sure we were well taken care of. The atmosphere is always welcoming and everyone is having a great time. The decor is authentic and bright and the in-house artiste, Chanteise, did a beautiful job on the artwork in the entry area, especially the happy and delicious looking taco! We LOVE Sangria's, the food is exquisite and we feel like we are part of the family there!

I cannot believe I have not reviewed Sangria's after my first visit but having dined again recently, I find myself wanting to make sure they get more than the tip paid for their great food and service. During a day of listening to music at the annual Mile of Music festival, our group of 5 found ourselves extremely hungry well past the typical dinner hour. Despite our late arrival, the parking lot was full yet we were still seated promptly and drinks were ordered. Can you believe you can get a Monster (38 oz) margarita! Too much for me but not for one in our group. I love the fact that the restaurant is in an older house as it provides some much desired character. Our server was attentive, professional, and friendly. The food arrived within an acceptable time frame, not too fast and not too late, and it was filling and delicious. Standard Mexican fare was available and it all looked better and tasted better than some of the other dine-in places that seem to be nothing more than a disguised fast food restaurant. Sangria's is an excellent choice!

Put a fork in me, and I am done. OMG, all-around great experience staff was awesome! Parking is a challenge for good reason the place is great so there are a lot of people. The best margaritas I have had in a very, very long time!!!! I was a little pricey ONLY because I the margaritas was massive!

Long awaited Mexican cuisine on a Friday night date night🌙 We luckily found a parking spot (having the bike probably helped😅) and it wasn't terribly crammed inside. We sat outside on the upstairs deck while we waited for our table since it was such a gorgeous evening - which we ended up missing being called for by having out number we were given written down wrong. Maybe an extra 10 minute wait. Our waiter, quickness (from ordering to receiving our food, maybe only 10-15 minutes) and the food itself, it was worth it. The environment is awesome. I got the Seafood Rice Bowl, he got the Chicken, Shrimp & Steak Fajitas. Sangria's never disappoints!

Excellent food, big portions. Service was great! Waitress was very friendly and helpful, food came very quickly. I have heard good things about Sangrias, and my first time there, I find all the good I have heard is true. I will definitely go back, and highly recommend anyone else to go.

I wish I remembered our experience more from a little over a year ago. But the pictures tell me all I need to know. I'm betting the food was excellent. Default to 5 stars since I can't remember fully.

The food was amazing and the service impeccable! Augustine, our server, was courteous, friendly, helpful and attentive. We ordered Cordoveses Enchiladas, Fresca bowl and Molcajete. All were fresh, delicious, and hot off the grill. Island Getaway Margarita is so refreshing! Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here several times, always a great experience. It’s a neat restaurant with some amazing authentic Mexican food. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a good sit down Mexican restaurant. I strongly recommended trying their loco polio bowl if you get the chance, as well as any of their margarita specials.

Awesome place with great food and service! Food came out quick, hot, and tasty. The Al Pastor burrito is my go-to along with fresh guacamole made table side. Their salsa that comes with the chips is fresh and delicious! Our waiter left us laughing every time too! Child friendly Parking can be tight when busy.

Why did I wait so long to come to this fabulous place?!? The food was great, and the service was amazing! They were swamped, and still, the food was out fast, hot, and delicious 😋 The waiter walked around with margaritas on his head for some added flare and entertainment! The only thing I could wish for was a bigger table for all of our delightful Mexican cuisine! Outstanding job to all the folks up front and behind the scenes on Saturday night!

Fantastic Mexican cuisine! The prices at first glance seem high until you see all that you get with a meal. They will make the guacamole at your table and it is fantastic! Easily the best Mexican restaurant in the Fox valley.

Met up w a friend for dinner and drinks. First time here. Drinks were good and food delicious! Only complaint would be please have more bartenders on, poor guy couldn't catch a break. He did great though!!

You definitely get your money's worth here. Big portions and great service. Everything was super flavorful and tasty.

The food was amazing and the service was great. Very authentic tasting food. When you order the guacamole they come out with a whole tray of additives and make it fresh right in front of you! Would definitely eat their again.

The original experience was a bit strange. To let you know, you cannot be seated until your whole party is there and there's not really a good "waiting area". We also then were told we had to finish eating within 55 minutes, which I thought was strange. However, our server, forgot his name, thought that was a strange thing to be told and was told not to worry about time and to just enjoy ourselves. That was the only problem we had encountered. I had a prickly pear margarita, fajita tacos with a side of tropical rice and tequila veggies. The food was PHENOMENAL. first time I was able to eat an entire entree because I just couldn't get enough. I wanted to order food to go even. To the male server who served me and my 3 lady friends, thank you for being so kind and a great server!

We were in the restaurant on Labor day and the whole experience wasn't very satisfying. Not too many restaurants were open in the area that day, so it's understandable that there are delays. What's not understandable is when the taste of food is not that good. Positives: Our server was very friendly and took extra care when we told her we are vegetarians. Negatives: Food wasn't very tasty, most of the things we ate were bland. Plus some of us didn't feel good later - there were some nausea issues and some stomach aches. We were a group of 6, and none of us was too sick, so I'm hoping this was a one-off. We bought tacos, fajitas and burritos - all vegetarian versions.

What a great restaurant. Don't let it fool you by the looks of it looking like a house. Bar is spacious with tv's. The food was on point with the portions and the taste. Chips and salsa were great along with the beans that came with the chips. Food was awesome. Got the tacos rice and beans and will definitely be back.

All 4 of us had a little something different. And all of us enjoyed the food. It was very delicious and I would highly suggest giving it a try when you are in town.

Always a great atmosphere for a group or even just 2. Usually pretty quick service with delicious food and the margaritas are tasty, especially the doubles ;-). Some of the wait staff keep the evening entertaining as well.

From start to finish it was great service from our waiter and other staff. The food was delicious, too, (get the Loco Molcajete, you won't be disappointed) but it was really the service that stood out. Highly recommended and the best Mexican place we've been to in the Fox Cities.

The food came out fast and was amazing! The waiters were friendly and entertaining. Only thing I would change is the parking lot. I met up with some friends and we had trouble finding a parking spot since the lot was full.

Best Mexican food in Appleton. Food is very good and consistent. Friendly staff. Service atvtimes can be a little slow and limited parking when busy.
