I'll be coming back here a few times for lunch.

When you first arrive, the menu is behind the counter, and you place an order, and then they call your name when ready. The chips and drink are to the side past the counter, and they operate on the honer system where you tell them what you got after you're done eating if you choose to eat at a table. I got the Chicago Beef sandwich for lunch, and it was a delight. They told me it was a spicy sandwich as an FYI, but the heat was just right. It had a nice balance of heat and flavor. This was a sandwich recommendation from someone behind me in line, and it did not disappoint. I plan to go back to try breakfast and the coffee sometime soon. The food is really good. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Staff is helpful and friendly. Usually very busy at lunchtime. But this place is worth the wait.

By far my favorite place for lunch. I'm not a Turkey or bacon person but the only sandwich I ever get here is the Hawaii Five-OH. Best sandwich ever!

Coming from out of town as I was assigned work in the Cleveland area, I was looking for a good place to eat for lunch. I stumbled here via Google. Private owned sandwich shop with fresh tasty sandwiches. They have salads but I stop in for their sandwiches. I love the quality and portion size. The Polish Boy was massive. They make their own potato chips called chippers, very tasty. You get what you pay for. Laid back environment. Call ahead.

Not only is the owner really nice and professional. The food is amazing! Warm, filling, and worth every penny. The red velvet muffin is to die for and the triple berry bar is perfect! Oh and don’t forget your pickle!!!!

Food was amazing just like the workers. Definitely going again. Make sure yall call first when you want to order your food they be really busy. The wait is worth it though

A great deli and hidden gem just off the Towpath in Valley View. Fantastic sandwiches! Food takes awhile but is definitely worth it. Can get crowded at lunch.

Excellent menu selection. Quality of food is unsurpassed. Quaint little place. If you have to wait, there's a reason why and that reason is worth it. Cigars, wine, food, coffee, this place has something for any foodi.

One of the best sandwiches ever...I devoured the beef and pastrami with white cheddar and horseradish sauce on ciabatta bread! The housemade potato chips were also delicious. Outstanding food and service...I look forward to coming back soon!

Incredible food and worth planning ahead for it. Just make sure you call ahead of time. Staff is awesome as well. Got some beers and cigar selections to choose from. Absolutely great place.

Although Gourmands have mind blowing choices& quality of meat sandwich and burger options, The choices they have for Vegetarian option is really impressive. And the aroma of different coffees they make every single day and the coffee taste is simply superb! 🤩

I used to go to Gourmand's regularly when I lived in Cleveland and now it's a MUST whenever I visit. There's a lot of good food to be had in Cleveland, but there is no better place for a sandwich. There is always a variety of options, and I really appreciate that there is a robust vegetarian menu and not just the usual deli classics. Stop in. You will not be disappointed.

Went in to grab a coffee… heard this place was pretty good.. had cool atmosphere. However nothing works unless you have good customer service… there was a guy behind counter having a full conversation with another customer for about 10 minutes… he never acknowledged I was standing there waiting for service. Another customer also waiting while this was going on. He never said would be right with me or let me help you and continue his conversation while helping waiting customers. I just don’t see a point of going back if customers are not going to be acknowledged or helped. Bad for business. Worst part was he looked over twice at me and the other customer standing there and said nothing just kept kibitzing.

Excellent deli with so many choices and super helpful and friendly staff. So many things to try. GF option is only $1 upcharge. Cookies are phenomenal. Soups are really good, too. The lentil, tomato basil and chili are my favorites.

I was looking for a place to get coffee and by accident I found this wonderful place. Good coffee, the cookie my granddaughter was tasty also! I am looking forward to going there again! Oh you are also able to get local Honey there.

What a great place. Great food, great people. Today was my first time there and now it will be a regular stop. And they sell cigars. How cool is that?

First time here, came in for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised. A real old school and classy place. Very personable staff. I didnt order food yet but the food looked great. The coffee was perfect. I really like this place and will be returning.

Who puts a Philly on sliced bread? picture i saw online showed it on a sub. Super soggy overloaded with mayo if this is normal 10/10 do not recommend. 19$ forn a soggy philly and luke warm limp fries

Gourmands is a must try if you have never been there, sandwiches, chippers, Texas Toothpicks, soups and salads are awesome! Coffee is awesome. You can also buy wine and cigars too! Go see them, you won't be disappointed!

First time there on our way to a movie. The lovely man behind the counter was kind, helpful and had perfect recommendations. The service was just as good as the food, beyond our expectations. Great new find!
