We slept on this restaurant for too long. Didn’t know what to expect. It never looked busy but we decided to give it a try recently and were super impressed. The gyro sandwich was packed full of meat! I honestly could have ordered a second pita and made another with all of it! Really good flavors and my hubby liked the mixed grill and salad. Rice was a little bland but we weren’t there for the rice. Ordered baklava to go and ate it for breakfast the next day.

I tried the mix grill and really loved it! The gyro meat, chicken kabob, veggie kabob, rice and Greek salad were all on point and so delicious. The pita bread was also very soft and fresh. Super fast friendly service too. I never leave reviews but was just so impressed. 10/10!

Wow, just wow! Great Greek food. We love traveling and eating in Greece and this family run restaurant is fantastic. Fresh salad, gyros was double stuffed with meat that was delicious. The other plate was mixed grill and hubby just kept saying, yum, yum while eating it. The staff just wanted us to be satisfied, offering more sauce, etc. Do not miss this dining experience.

This is only my second meal, here. The young man, behind the counter, was very helpful and quick to bring my food out. He forgot my side of sauce, but quickly rectified the issue. The food is amazing!!! Will be back, soon. P.s There are both vegetarian and pescatarian options, too! Don't forget to tip, even on take out. They work hard!!!

Gyro, fries, Greek salad not too bad. My complaint is with service, sat for almost 40 minutes waiting for 2 gyros and one order of fries. Apparently they honor take out orders over customers actually waiting in the restaurant. Another issue was that there was no ice or water available, you had to buy soda or bottled water. And finally, my receipt showed a charge of 20.02 but in checking my master card on line account, I saw that I had been charged 22.02. Brought that to the attention of the staff, they gave me back $2.00 and said it was a mistake….hmmmmm, has me wondering, guess a person really has to keep an eye on their charges regardless of what the receipt says.

Excellent food!! The baba ganouch is fantastic!! The gyros are bursting with flavor. The service was exceptional and our order was done in a timely fashion. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best food in the area. The front staff is very sweet and kind and the food is 10000% authentic, you can taste the love and effort that they put into their craft. Thank you guys for feeding the community with your culture. It’s amazing!

We drove by for year's never stop..neighbors said its their favorite place. We tried it, and OMG. The pita bread is so good. Had supper twice this week trying all the offerings. See you there.

Had the Gyro platter with rice. It was totally delicious and top quality. Some places make Gyros that are a bit overly greasy but mine was basically perfect. Only gripe is that I wish it came with more meat. It had ~70 percent of what I would have hoped for. The pita and the sauce were top notch

What a hidden gem! Flavorful, fresh food. The Mykenos Salad was delicious! My husband enjoyed his falafel sandwich and immediately decided we would be back. MUST try!

Gyros & Gyro Salad are delicious, cheese curds are exceptional, onion rings and fried mushrooms are great. Service was very friendly and welcoming. We will be going back again soon!

The food was very good, we got the Philly and gyro melt, both delicious!! And the service was great. The lady that checked us out was super sweet!

Excellent quality every time. The Gyro melt is basically a Philly steak sandwich made with Gyro meat. We have eaten here 3 out of the last 4 times we visited Wausau. I see some people rip on the Styrofoam plates and plastic silverware but when the food is exceptional, just deal with it or bring your own stuff from home.

This is the only place you should eat in Wausau it is the best I want to eat it everyday❤️

The food was good, not great. Atmosphere gets a lower mark from me because plastic utensils, cheap plates, some amount of self service. You order at counter. I enjoyed what I ordered, but certainly was not gourmet. Prices were fair and appropriate. Parking was fine. Other places I will go to eat before going here again.

The food varies between 3-4 stars.However, service is 2 stars at best. LONG waits for food, and i mean long. Last time i was there i asked how long the wait would be, the girl told me not long at all. So, I ordered and the food wasn’t done for 45 minutes… That was my last visit. Maybe i’ll try again sometime, hopefully they will be more organized. The service has been an issue with this restaurant long before covid, so it’s not a labor issue.

We had gyros and fries, baklava for dessert. The food was good and prices were fair. Fast food vibe. Counter ordering, and they bring the food out to you. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The ambiance is a little sterile but comfortable. The place was clean in general, but the carpet is grungy. Different flooring would improve the vibe considerably.

I have not been here in quite a while and after my recent visit I am wondering why. The service was great as was the food. I was there mid afternoon on the Saturday immediately following "Black Friday". As I hadn't been here for some time I asked the very pleasant young lady at the counter for some suggestions which she provided as well as explaining each dish, (I know Gyros so we skipped that explanation). I chose the Kufta Kababs with a side Greek Salad. The dining room was semi-busy but I had no problem getting a table. The food was delivered to my table and I wasn't disappointed. The Kebabs were done to my liking, the Tzatziki Sauce was fresh as was the Greek Salad that did not seem to be pre-made. I will be back, it is worth the trip even if you are not shopping in the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

We are always looking for new places to try since moving to the area 6 years ago. Mykenos has been on my list for some time. I checked out the online menu and assured my wife that they also had some non-Mediterranean food options. When it was her idea to go I jumped at the chance. I wanted a variety, so I got the mixed grill with 1 beef and 1 lamb kabob as well as the traditional gyro with tzatziki sauce. It also came with fries and a Greek salad, so it is a very good sized combo. (I had leftovers for lunch). My wife chose the Philly cheese steak. Everything was delicious! Counter service and food delivered right to your table all perfectly executed. My wife declared it the best cheese steak she has had and thoroughly enjoyed some of my fries too. She is already itching to go back after only a few days. This will definitely be a regular in our rotation eating places.

Really awesome food and I have been to Greece! But restaurant needs some sprucing up. Warning ladies room doesn't lock. Still I drove an hour to get there and would do it again

Sampler platter with hummus, pita, baba ganoush, and falafels was amazing. Ate it before being able to snap a pic! The lady at the counter has excellent customer service, very polite and informative.

I was craving the taste of Greece and what I got was disappointment. I had the sampler plate my companion the spinach pie and baklava. My hummus was bland, the falafel over cooked and heavy with the taste of mint. The 2 pitas were tough and greasy. The spinach pie and baklava had nothing that resembled layers of tender, buttery and flaky layers of dough. The pastry was tough and hard to cut. I won't be back.

Friendly environment. Great tasty food. Fresh tasting. Large portion sizes and friendly service. Spanakopita was huge and very tasty! Lentil soup was very filling and flavorful.
